Can't understand any woman wanting this - or indeed many men. Its revolting and well done that politician for trying to make a change back to common sense.
Common sense lol. You watch GB news you wouldn't know common sense if it pissed on your forehead.
Here’s where the conflict is: transgender. The LGBTQ groups are complaining in the USA if they live in conservative states that they are made To go out in back of the mall and use Port-o-lets. In liberal states where it is implemented: straight people hate it with a passion. I’ve heard comments from men who are just as embarrassed as the women.
This is why I dismiss what women 'want' in favor for what I know is better
@@Npc1488-wc1kfwomen vote for this crap in their dozens.. until it affects them, same as with trannies playing womens sport
So if theirs a guy in the toilet with a lady on their own wouldn’t the lady feel nervous, because I’m sure I would, not saying all men are creeps, but some are ! And if this is because of Transgender people finding it difficult where to put them, I really don’t care, I’m saying sharing toilets are putting women at risk, we have rights too !!
Well said.
why are women more likely to be attacked in the toilet though?
@@aaronjamesmoore757Don't be disingenuous.
@@unam6024 what do you mean? lol
I'm an older woman and will never accept same sex toilets. A lot of loos in cafes and eateries are in the basement.. scary enough in normal circumstances..
How’s a woman gonna feel comfortable if they step in and there’s a bunch of young men hanging around…wake up…sex assaults are up intimidation
That's exactly the point that politicians and people like Peter Tatchell don't care about or believe is an issue.
They don't feel comfortable, and I have a small insight into the evidence for that. One Saturday, early afternoon, a friend and I were in a well-known high street shop. Both of us needed the loo, only to find that it was unisex. We didn't realise at the time that behind the door was just a single loo and instead both opted to use the disabled facilities. We clearly weren't alone because the tall waste bin in that loo was over-flowing with paper towels. Either dozens of disabled individuals in that small town had visited this shop and, in a 3 hour window, used all of those towels, or, most shoppers needing the loo had seen the 'unisex' sign above the door, had been put off by it and used the disabled facilities instead. My guess is that the latter is more likely.
Ladies and Gentlemen, not Unisex toilets. It always worked perfectly well before this lunacy began.
Don't agree. Only women get into violent fights in washrooms -- pulling each others hair out, screaming obscenities, kicking, etc. Would feel much more comfortable with unisex. Less likely to have problems.
Gender neutral toilets work perfectly well. Show me the evidence they lead to more sexual assault. This is just feelings over facts from the whiny Tory crowd
Who do you think is behind the lunacy?
@@christinestanding They never show their face, they make sure of that.
I have teenagers in my life and they are very clear they do not want to be doing their business with the opposite sex in the room, especially girls. A group of boys snickering, making jokes, feeling intimidated if they are the only female using the bathroom.
Works both ways, most men wouldn't feel comfortable using a toilet while a bunch of teenage girls were standing outside the cubicle giggling and that's without the added possibility of a girl making an unfounded allegation.
Don't agree. Only women get into violent fights in washrooms -- pulling each others hair out, screaming obscenities, kicking, etc. Would feel much more comfortable with unisex. Less likely to have problems.
@@sambrooks7862 Bloody hell, I never thought about girls making false allegations. That's a really good point.
@@auleuspsn2248 I was a bouncer for nearly 30 years and I've seen it happen. Because girls have use a cubicle the female toilets are always much busier than the gents so woman often use the mens toilet because there's more chance of a cubicle being available. They decend on the mens toilet en masse, sometimes 8 or 9 of them but seldom less than 3 and the poor guys standing at the urinals holding their chopper are easy prey. I've seen guys being lead out of packed nightclubs in handcuffs on a Saturday night because some silly tart thought it "would be a laugh". I've never seen charges brought but nonetheless how bloody humiliating for any guy that happens to and the useless police always believe the female.
@@sambrooks7862good you agree then, it's just as well we can have single sex spaces!
As someone who was sexually abused in a ladies toilet at the age 10 while fishing with my siblings. I do not want any bloke in my toilets or my granddaughters either. I do not think this is a safe practice, I wonder how many girls will be abused in public toilets when it’s so easy for a bloke to walk into them.
There are stats available showing that gender neutral toilets and other spaces are 2 of the primary places where SA against females of all ages occurs. Nuff said, eh? Get rid of the multiple gender neutral potties. unisex single rooms with locks are okay. I would still accompany my grandaughters or young nieces to the bathroom
Im sure that most men would also like their own space and privacy.
Agreed. Rape of young boys is very common. Is it safe to force young boys into toilets with a bunch of strange men?
Also, why should decent men have to share with weirdo's?
Best solution is to find a way to work towards private facilities. Then the problem goes away.
Keep men and women’s bathrooms separate. We don’t want or need mixed bathrooms.
I hate unisex toilets , hospital wards !
Biological women should ALWAYS have their own toilets where biological men have no access to. It's a matter of SAFETY, dignity and hygiene.
Don't agree. Only women get into violent fights in washrooms -- pulling each others hair out, screaming obscenities, kicking, etc. Would feel much more comfortable with unisex. Less likely to have problems.
@LeidolfrI was in the shop the other day and went for a piss and the men's toilets were fully out of order. Leaving the only other real option as the women's toilets.
This war has been waging for sometime. Dave Cameron wanted unisex wards and toilets. The outcry put it on the back burner but they are still pushing. They want to dehumanise us and turn us into immoral zombies.
It's disgusting and perverse, there are many cases of sexual assault because of this. I fully support women having their own toilets, privacy and dignity.
@@jayp-zy8xl source that gender neutral toilets lead to higher sexual assault? Give me literally anything.
Honestly, as a woman I do not want to go to a toilet where a person with functioning male genetalia is allowed in. That would make me feel extremely unsave
The whole thing is geared up to the normalisation of peadophillia. But there are far more pressing issues than worrying about men pretending to be women . But yes definitely keep these perverts out of women's spaces.
Projecting again, Ant? 🐜
@@titteryenot4524 Truth tho isn't it. Or maybe you like that
You're right about that, police forces across the UK have been protecting paedophiles for years.
How is a unisex toilet “geared up to the normalisation of paedophilia” exactly?
@@titteryenot4524 you obviously don't have kids. How would you feel about your 6 year old daughter using a toilet while there were men in there?
I would NEVER use a "unisex" toilet and neither would my daughters. For the obvious reasons.
@Leidolfr Are you for real? I meant public toilets since I don't have to worry about "shims" or whatever they're calling themselves these days, using the "loo" in my home.
@Leidolfrno troons or sexual offenders in my house
@Leidolfr Low effort troll.
@Leidolfr Oh please! It's not "transphobia," it's right versus wrong. It doesn't matter what someone "identifies" as. Hey, I "identify" with the Billionaire Boys Club. Am I getting in? Nope.
I've never seen Mrs. Doubtfire in any ladies room I've been in, and I've lived in five states. If you're born with male or female organs, GOD has "assigned" your gender, and you "use the loo that's meant for you!"
in my above comment, I meant to say unisex facilities, not single sex ones. Oops.
Any genuine trans person would not go out of their way to make other people uncomfortable, whether it was their ‘right’ or not. This is where it all gets a bit sinister, why the need to use other bathrooms, it’s surely not really a priority in someone’s life or is there another reason for wanting access to these places?
That's a stupid remark. Any genuine trans person. Can't be many of them then, because they all want to use the Ladies.
Absolutely agree. Genuine trans people are being vilified because of the small minority who have disingenuous motives for wanting to share toilets with woman. And it's this last group who are publicly very vocal about pushing for this to happen.
Trans is a cult wake up, LGB without the T 👍
genuine trans person?
There’s no such thing as a “genuine trans person”. Psychiatrists CREATED trans for men with fetishes that were so all consuming that they couldn’t think about anything else. They’ve ALWAYS been the kind to be wrong. You ppl falsely believe these mxn are gay. Those are the minority. And they too are a threat. There are vids of them BEATING up girls in toilets. So, no. It’s the FEMALE loo not the sparkles and rainbows loo.
It’s a security issue too. That’s why it has to be addressed.
Absolutely NO unisex toilets.
The loo seat is always up,and most times the seat is wet. I hate using men’s toilets. I also hate making noise when I use the toilet, weather it is male or female. Even worse, using the toilet after someone had a bowel movement. Yuk!
People need their own private spaces especially when going to the toilet
What kind of a mind would want this to happen?
Why are the parents/the girls themselves never interviewed? what is going on here?
Recently I saw a news about a man wearing a dress went to a female wc. Somehow he got arrested right outside the toilet. (Maybe a lady freaked out and screamed) After a body search the police found a hidden camera on him.
...and worse.
Loathe and detest unisex toilets. Sharing with family is as far as it should go. I don't toilet with random men I don't know. Holding on until I get home than you very much.
Totally disagree. Don't want to share a sink with men. We women put on makeup, have a chat. To me, it's weird that a woman could want that.

Christine Hamilton, top woman. Talks common sense. 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤
I have no issue with single unisex loos but multiple toilets in the same room branded 'gender neutral' I do. It is weird and I do not feel comfortable using them. My office building has them. Thankfully there are no wronguns in my place of work.
Don't agree. Only women get into violent fights in washrooms -- pulling each others hair out, screaming obscenities, kicking, etc. Would feel much more comfortable with unisex. Less likely to have problems.
Feminism fought for 100 years for some women to complain about a toilet being labelled gender neutral. beggars belief. You make a mockery of it frankly.
Interesting that in the US they are called "Rest Rooms". Hardly restful with this new lunacy.
@@christinestanding I first went to the US when I was a young girl and I remember wondering what the heck are rest rooms - they have some weird ways over there. Most of the problems we have today come from that country. Including gender neutral loos.
Only ladies have "restrooms" in the USA and Canada. Until a few years that was.
It's called restrooms because they used to have sofas in the front room before you came to the cubicles.
It was meant for ladies to lie down when they felt faint - in case they were pregnant, or had severe periods (cramps).
It was a very nice custom. We miss these restrooms in the 2023 gender craze.
Most companies also had them for their female staff to lie down in their breaks.

Don’t know why they changed them in the first place! When I was working in an office we had to share the toilets with the other sex, It always worried me that if the guys were too lazy to flush. made me always wonder if they remember to wash their hands!
Look at the conversations we are having. This is all crazy, we're arguing over the rights to use toilets. This nonsense has to stop.
Yes, agree, but who instigates this madness? Common Purpose; Mermaids; Stonewall? Someone is pushing this agenda.
I'd feel very uncomfortable being in uni sex toilets. I'm doing my own business and Knowing a male is next door makes me uncomfortable. This will increase sexual assault as well, if its quiet someone will take advantage.
While in hospital mwn and women shared the showers i didn't like or felt comfortable same as with unisex toilet thats a no no
As it is usually men in charge and women are just there to shut other women up the men don't care about some man who wears a dress raping a 14 year old child. And that disgusts me.
Provide separate toilet facilities for males and females as children will be at risk otherwise. Trans should use the washroom for the disabled. There are so few of them they won't interfere with the physically disabled and what is more disabling than believing that you've been born in the wrong body? It doesn't give you the right to inflict yourself on people who do NOT share your delusion and any decent person would accept that or does trans mean rude and uncompromising?
Even as a grown woman I wouldn't want to share bathroom space with teenage school boys. . I would have found that terrifying and extremely embarrassing as a 14 year old girl
Without a doubt it has gone way too far. Separate toilets for both sexes, protect the children at the very least.
How this is even a debate is beyond me....
I hate unis3x toilets. Why??? I have been a cleaner in public toilets. Men's toilet really smell. I scrapped wee crust off the wall shoulder high!!!!!! It was crusted thick behind the toilet. I had to scrub and scrub to get rid of the urine smell. Why am i being forced to use toilets, because of a man's bad aim, that have "wee" all over the seat, i have to sit on it!!!!! Have mercy on us women, men get out of my toilet.!!!! Its called hygene.
Welcome to planet earth and you’re f’ing welcome to it .
As a male I am always amazed at the number of men who don't know how to use a toilet as Christine explained. This comes from lacking a father figure in the home during upbringing. We must also consider the fact of female predators, and they do exist. One false accusation of indecent exposure can destroy a man's reputation. I personally would not enter a public toilet if it was filled with giggling schoolgirls or any female for that matter. There is no need for this in society.
My deepest sympathy goes out to anyone that didn’t have a father around. It’s desperately unfair. But do you really need any role model on how to use a lavatory?
@@California265 all children need training and there is a toilet etiquette especially when a house and lavatory are shared with females and in most cases obviously they do. I suppose it doesn't really matter these days because people don't know any better.

Good. We ladies can have a return to clean toilets and no pee on the seats. 🤢
The best part for either sex, is when the loo seat is up and you need to take a dump but everything has been pissed on and when you go to put the seat down you see it's splattered and full of urine track marks everywhere. I love that part!!!!
What a great reply say it how it is.⭐
RETURN TO WHERE WE SHOULD BE. SEPERATE TOILETS FOR WOMEN
MEN
TRANS.
3 SETS OF PUBLIC TOILETS.
I don't want to go to public lavatories with blokes or trans people . I had to share a ward in a London hospital with men having a sex change , the lavatories were in a terrible state .
I was a timid girl. No exagerration, I would have held it in, gotten UTI and wee'd myself anyway. Repeat the cycle.
Private spaces for our girls its not right at all
If you can't even talk about it without feeling awkward, why on earth are you putting people in the position of having to experience it. GB News, regardless of the unisex nature of the rented property's bathrooms, put a sign on the doors and make one male and one female. It can't be that hard.
This country has gone stark raving Feckin mad.
Always nice seeing Christine Hamilton. She was so nice to us in 2003 when we met her at a meeting that had to do with people
being victims of people who falsely accuse innocent people. She and her husband were accused by a woman - falsely - of having
attacked her. They (lovely Christine and her husband) had to prove their innocence. Shame on the accuser (Nadine Milroy?) and the police in that case.
I will never go to mixed Toilets., by Choice!
How much money is being spent on such a tiny percentage of the population?
I wouldn't want to be changing a small childs nappy as strange men come in and out of the room.
Let's be honest, many men leave toilets in such a filthy state that just looking at them can give you nightmares. To the best of my knowledge women are much less likely to do this. So why should they have to put up with something so disgusting?
Groomers policy. 🤬
In the New Forest towns where I live, the newer public toilets are unisex. But the advantage is that they are a block of individual toilets with external doors that can be locked. In each individual room in these blocks there is one loo, toilet roll, a bin and a sink. It also has a door that is lockable from the inside.
I think in the block there are approximately 8 individual rooms including one for the disabled.
The older public toilets are still male or female rooms with separate cubicles and another room for the disabled.
Given that you live in the New Forest, do you use leaves as bog-roll? 🚽
@@titteryenot4524 No, I use toilet roll.
Easy for men with a voyeur fetish to hide tiny cameras in unisex cubicles. Or legally hang around outside the door, waiting for the unlocking sound, then barge into the cubicle and assault the woman. Unisex toilets are a recipe for disaster.
@@titteryenot4524 so what is your point?
@@simplesimon5739 What do you mean, “what is my point”? 🤔
I dont think women have ever had enough public toilets. Just ask the husbands all waiting outside for the women to join them after they have gone in a d out. 😮
It will be just another policy that makes the lives of the citizens of this country a little bit harder.
Easier!
I'm not from GB, I'm from Argentina. I can tell my 25 years old son and my husband feel very uncomfortabe sharing the toilet with women. They want their privacy too. I think we could have three kind of toilets: women,, men, and unisex. So we can satisfy "the new ideas" for people that insist on that without making the rest suffer for what they don't want and nevera ask for.
Thank you
We have biological males, and biological females. Only.
So when men stand at urinals are women meant
to walk passed them peeing !!!! or are men now dicated to sit for 1s & 2s !!!!!! WTF the world NO the uk is going nuts.😡😡😡
This conversation is just going down the pan
I agree, we don't need mixed toilets. Why were the women so dismissive to the man. Telling him to sit down in that tone.
Let's get real. I'll tell you what, I wouldn't want a women next to me in the next cubicle the day after I've scoffed down a beef vindaloo or a large kebab with onion, garlic and chilli sauce. They don't call them the "thunder box" here in Australia for nothing...it's bag enough in the gents when that happens but I really don't want to subject a young girl or woman to it.
🤣😂
Yes going to far man wowan should have there own space this not save for any woman we want to be save is to much to ask
Surely this only makes sexual assault much more likely. How could a woman be any more vulnerable? Crazy world.
In the USA, it is for the convenience of the LGBTQ groups. The federal government left it up to the individual states to implement. The LGBTQ’s in conservative states have to go out in back of the malls and use the port-o-potties, and they are furious. In liberal states like mine (MA) the straight people are horrified and frightened. In the 1960’s/70’s the conservatives said we would end up here with ERA. Back then, I thought about it with horror. And, now that it’s happened I am horrified. What next? Urinals in there too?
That answers a question that I've put several times with no answer forthcoming. Who is driving this agenda? Thank you.
Definitely should NOT be gender neutral in schools.
unisex toilet also means urinoirs are not an option. and we all know many men refuse to sit on toilet so women who dont have the option would have dirtyer toilets to go to.. so aside of feeling safe... women having to share that space now deal with men not being the most clean toiletvisitors...(if you ever seen the difference between male and female restrooms you know what i mean)
Agree its one of the biggest sexual insult on humanity and especially on the christian community ...children and mothers ...shocking
Why is this being debated?
Provide 3 toilets:
1. For cis men
2. For cis women
3. For the rest e. g. 2 spirits fluid, a sexual, disable, etc.
We have seperate toilets for people with disabilities but not in every building. Never heared them complain.. Why make toilets gender neutral? not distability neutral?????
Different points of view, the embarrassment obvious to all, and the only sane conclusion, separate bathroom spaces for all. We already have disabled/ differently abled bathroom facilities, so if you really have to for the 1 percent, a mentally challenged bathroom should be available for the not sure people.
Going? How about gone!
Seems they are trying to create a solution for a problem that doesn't exist.
"Vetted by GB News" very low bar then!
Odd decades ago, there were unisex toilets installed where my parents lived. I think they were short-lived as the door came open before the toileter had finished their toilette🤣🤣🤣! However recently queued to go to the loo in a Unisex toilet and no problems at all.😊
In America we have what is called "family toilets" which is used by moms or dads to change their child's diaper etc. Why not have those a single toilet that a trans person can use.
What’s always annoyed me in this debate is that women never put the toilet seat up after they’ve used it. 🚽
And they wonder why us guys slash all over it :)
HAVE YOU NEVER HEARD ABOUT HYGIENE, CROSS CONTAMINATION..?NO ONE SHOULD TOUCH A TOILET SEAT. EVEN THE THOUGHT OF MEN DOING SO IS GROTESQUE, UNLESS THEY USE A SHIELD SUCH AS TOILET PAPER‼️
Cause without the toilet seat we literally fall inside and we don’t want to touch the seat😂😂😂😂.
Actually, the correct thing to do is to put the lid down prior to flushing. Then the assorted unhygienic pollutants aren't sprayed into the air.
Hear, Hear‼️Sorry, MEN, but cross contamination on your behalf is both disgusting and harmful to health on many levels‼️
Yes, they are.
This is the continued regression of European culture and customs
i agree.. so thats that .. but no we didnt have centuries of seperated toilets..
Are we missing a trick here, perhaps we should label toilets according to people’s genitalia (Richard/No Richard) and not the gender they identify with?
It makes me despair that so much focus is placed on gender issues.
Well as a bloke who I assume isn't transgender or a natural born female why would you be bothered. Sorry to bore you.
@sally5983 In general, the attitudes of a society I belong to have an effect on me even if not directly.. I also see the confusion it causes in the minds of my grandchildren and life for them is more complex than it should be.
it should not be debated full stop
Don't agree. Only women get into violent fights in washrooms -- pulling each others hair out, screaming obscenities, kicking, etc. Would feel much more comfortable with unisex. Less likely to have problems.
Keep theses bathrooms with 1 toilet… that’s simple…. That’s safer then leave the bathrooms for men for men n women for women…
No i would not want to be in the same toilets as women i have had men running out for air saying Jesus Christ i could not imagine the shock of a woman
To be fair, sexual abuse of boys is extremely common. If a grown woman feels uncomfortable about a man in female toilets how do 14 year old boys feel (especially if they consider themselves to be female) in a toilet full of men?
I think we need to consider what's best for everyone, and the answer is not to force boys into male toilets where they can be sexually assaulted, bullied or raped.
If we feel that adult men are a threat then no one should be forced to share with them. Including decent men that aren't a threat to anyone else.
Solution: private facilities. Do away with communal facilities.
Quite frankly, I don't want to share with a bunch of strange men OR women.
Sheesh ... how often does ANYONE pee outside their own home? How about building everyone a home first ...
Toilets should be separated , to MEN and WOMEN only…that is common sense , common decency, and as safe as can be for minors… as to the stupid loo seat argument, simply put it up or down according to YOUR needs at the time..a big fuss about nothing.
Unisex toilets have been common in many areas at least where I live since many years before those discussions started... Usually each room has its own sink and a loo and can be locked from the inside. So apart from the person actively using it there's literally no one else in there... We got those often in places where there isnt much space for bigger restrooms e.g. on trains. So occasionally those are the only toilets available. Often they tend to be cleaner than the normal ones.
Who thought this up to mess with the toilets. I can't believe what they are doing to people and children it is alright the way it is. (Mostly females will suffer) if we have a small amount of people who don't know who they are why make other people suffer because of this, let us have extra toilets for the none gender people let them have a key or a code number to their toilet most people can guess who they are anyway if they fear attacks what do you think a young woman would feel with a male in the toilets when the female have to go to the toilet, all this to save other people but the girls, is there some protection in the law for girls at school. I think that there is some sort of law for adults not children that adults can have separate toilets at work, this might be because they have a voice and children do not on this matter, this a clear case of children not being heard, and the parents of the child not being heard. I am sure that the parents of the children had not been consulted when in the schools in the UK that they decided to change the toilets and know wonder they would have objected. there should have been a discussion on why they wanted to change the way going to the toilet is being run. The person MP who brought this out to change the toilets you bet has got to be an adult of some sort and I bet they don't have to share their toilet with the other sex because there is a law for the adults that is an employe in work shall have separate toilets. A female has different need from a male when they go to the toilet and an older teenage girl has more needs since they are near to womanhood, they don't want to see the places a male goes for a pee and they don' want a male to pee on the toilet seat that they have to sit down on, also girls like to be more private and they are cleaner in the toilets than males other things too the smell of pee in a male toilet is much stronger than a woman's toilet. I could go on longer but most people get this.
Speaking of unisex toilets. I think it's fine to have someone (probably women) to clean the toilet bowl when someone (probably a man) has left 'half an upper arm' that won't be flushed. 😉👍
What the world needs such misbehaviour
Went too far when a thought in someone's head meant they could change legal documents to reflect the fantasy in their head. It's called legal fiction and shouldn't exist. The real sex should always appear, especially for legal docs and statistics. Alongside that the fantasy can also be noted by way of courtesy only. The toilet issue is but one important issue but important as we've been heading down a slippery slope so protection for single sex spaces is a good first step, as is the step some sporting bodies have taken. Reign it all back to sanity.
Going to far, the went to far ages ago, were you living under a rock Dawn. This is important Dawn, im glad this is now law, common sense coming back, gender neutral toilets was one of the worst ideas. Its good for men and women.
They are "mixed sex" not "unisex".
And the spineless public support this ?
Of course they don't but as usual the government manipulate the figures to fit the agenda.
@palerider955 wouldn't be so sure they supported lockdowns and supported stopping people going on the footy if they weren't jabbed an that's just the start, yes they support it and voted Khan to stay as mayor ......... don't give the public too much credit, people just love to hate and see people struggle more,
Danny goes into the loo, passing gas like Krakatoa. Then Dawn comes in and passes OUT.
But what about Individuals who identify as women? Should they be allowed to use the toilets of their choice?
What is an "individual who identifies as a woman"? Women don't need to identify as women, we ARE women. Men who identify as women are still men and should use men's toilets.
The men's toilet to match their biological sex
