Just soothing music - no talk and boasting ...you let the tank just show its beauty to the world outside nature's coral reef. After many years of chasing the reef bug - this shallow method is the best for easier propagation of rare corals.
I know I have said it in previous comments but I absolutely love the beauty of your aquariums. It really shows how simple it can be. Your aquariums look better than most that have all kinds of complicated equipment. Bravo.
I saw that you somehow found my peasant yt channel in the past, and i’m extremely bitter for not checking out your own channel earlier 😤 Don’t watch reef yt vids much, but I must now make up for lost time and go binge on these sexy tanks for the next two hours
never realized you could do a great reef setup without a sump, skimmer, etc. i look forward to making vids of my tank as soon as the setup is finished. it will be my first saltwater tank.
New subscriber here. Your videos have opened my eyes and mind to a whole new 🌎. feel uplifted and tranquil when I watch and listen. The designer clown fish are so charming and delightful almost made my 👀 water. 🙏 for sharing your passion with us. It truly gives me a feeling of pure joy and peace.
Wow, you have such a nice tank and I can't believe you would take the risk of adding corals and fish without quarantining first! If I was going to add coral, I would remove the entire plug or snip the coral and glue to ensure no eggs. I remove the entire plug, re glue, add to a quarantine tank and then after a month or two, they go in the main display. Once you have nuisance pests, you never get rid of them. Sure, you can go fallow for iche, but this really made my tank unstable and I lost a few high end sps. Took nearly 9 months before the tank and sps were happy again and growing. Its such a delicate balance and a hard lesson to learn.
One of the most amazing things I've seen in my life was a salt water self sustaining coral and fish tank. Wasn't very big, probably 400 gallons? Have never seen another in person.
When I was involved with invertebrates I had a lot living rocks and coral, but I never saw a tank as nice as this. But in those days far to many creatures were from places that used cynide to take the animals.
Is there a dosing regiment you use? Like for alkalinity, cal, mag, or other elements? I’ve been following for over a year and your channel never ceases to amaze!
Really nice tank I’m curious how many gallons. Ive been interested in a shallow set up for those easy top down views. Frag tanks just don’t cut it for that same living reef wow factor! Good job !
This tank is incredible! You’ve done an amazing job! When doing your maintenance, do you siphon the sand or do you leave the sand bed alone during cleaning/water changes?
Danny i love your tank ❤ im starting to build mines too but i was wondering what you using the dip for ? Is it to clean the corals before you put them in clean water ? Thanks will be waiting to hear from you 😊
Look good man look the addition of the clowns questions and only becuase I know clownfish is known as Michael Jordan and known to jump will you add a mesh cover or something?
Hey dude, do you know a good Book/Site to learn about Tanks/Fishes/Corals because I really wanna begin a tank soon like this but I just don't know a good way to learn about this stuff.
Are the tank dimensions on this display 100x40x40? It certainly looks deeper than it is tall but hard to say given camera angles. The above dimensions are the only ones in the 40G(ish) range I could locate from ILA which is why I am asking.

I believe you should let it sit maintaining it and enjoy it but if you feel differently do what you think
Yellow tank
@@mant8967 he doesn’t have space you need at least a 75 gallon tank
Watchman goby and pistol shrimp please
you should try having a mandarin dragonet
One thing I love about your videos is that you don’t use mainstream equipment for your reef. Gives another view of what can be done.
Wait what's different about it?
Those Clowns are beautiful!!! This tank is looking magnificent!

i learned my lesson through 2 tank reboots. nothing goes in the display tank unless quarantined. this isn't freshwater lol

Tank is starting to look nice

Each day more beautifull... congrats.
Thank you so much 😊

Absolutly love your shallowreef 👌👌
Xenia has always been a favorite of mine so alien like
Wow absolutely amazing!
This is amazing, I just need a montagevideo of how your Shallow Reef Tank is changing and I´ll feel completed
Awesome set up!!!
Is there a dosing regiment you use? Like for alkalinity, cal, mag, or other elements? I’ve been following for over a year and your channel never ceases to amaze!
Amazing tank, really good setup! I'm inspired to make a lowtech shallow reef .
Really nice tank I’m curious how many gallons. Ive been interested in a shallow set up for those easy top down views. Frag tanks just don’t cut it for that same living reef wow factor! Good job !
Can you make a video related to your lights, desing, mounting kit, etc, there isnt to much info for Viva on internet
Great additions!
Have you ever considered shooting underwater videos using a gopro or a similar camera? Might be a great addition to your channel.
This tank is incredible! You’ve done an amazing job! When doing your maintenance, do you siphon the sand or do you leave the sand bed alone during cleaning/water changes?
Is very nice! I like..
beatiful
More fish!!!
Well done, Thank you very much.
Thanks for watching!
Got the klonopin shakes

What kind of reef glue do you use? I really like the way that you show us how you attach your frags!
You can have a bubble tip for the clownfish later

Hi from Argentina!! Beautiful tank!!! I was wondering what type of glue do you use to place the corals in the tank??
Danny i love your tank ❤ im starting to build mines too but i was wondering what you using the dip for ? Is it to clean the corals before you put them in clean water ? Thanks will be waiting to hear from you 😊
How ate u keeping sps without dosing?
Wery nice 👍🏻
very nice but get that wrasse out of there it will cause probs when it grows
Nice video, how often do you do a water change and how often, thanks.
I love the music you use in your videos! They really underline the beauty of your tanks! Speaking of which, what is the song called?
All songs are from Calm Shores sourced from Epidemic Sound: Misu, Steps To Mindfulness, Solitude Island.
I’m just getting started in the salt water side of keeping fish. How are you adding fish with no quarantine please explain to me
Why would the put a picture of a large dog on the shipping label?
Awesome! By why no water flow? Be nice to see everything moving.
Because it looks better on camera, all those moving tentacles and water movement causes the video quality to go bad and most people don’t like that.
Lindo lindo lindo lindo mil vezes lindo
How you been man?
Did you not dip them the frags
Im lucky where I live we can just go to the local reef and get anything
Look good man look the addition of the clowns questions and only becuase I know clownfish is known as Michael Jordan and known to jump will you add a mesh cover or something?
I have a plexiglass top on this tank, when not filming.
Is there not a need to drip acclimate new coral to a tank? I apologize if this is a silly question, I am new at this.
Great tank, what glue do you use?
Awesome video how do you do those smooth panning shots? And also what filtration do you use for the tank?
he has none
Hey beautiful tank, can I ask what are the dimensions of this tank
Hi Danny! Awesome shallow tank! What are the dimensions?
Hey dude, do you know a good Book/Site to learn about Tanks/Fishes/Corals because I really wanna begin a tank soon like this but I just don't know a good way to learn about this stuff.
Beautiful! Wich are the dimensions of the tank?
6:53 whats the purpose of drip acclimating the fish?
To let them acclimate to the water.. ?
Where did you buy the tank?
Are the tank dimensions on this display 100x40x40? It certainly looks deeper than it is tall but hard to say given camera angles. The above dimensions are the only ones in the 40G(ish) range I could locate from ILA which is why I am asking.
120x45x30 cm
Maravilhoso...Parabens....
Danny what happened to the Gobis?
Nothing?
Beautiful! What´s dimension?
😀

But my no3 bli sky high
O red coris não pega os espirografos?
where can you buy such an aquarium what is the size of the aquarium
Hey Danny, what light do you used for this tank?
Giesemann Viva Marine LED
What kind of filtration you use, I don’t see u have a sump or skimmer accept tank heater and power heads
Correct, I don't use any.
Whats that glue?!
pretty nice looking tank do you add KH MG CA ?
I do not ;)
How much money sir?
How come you don't quarantine any of the fish or corals?
Because I know where the fish and corals come from, they are quarantined at the stores.
Where did you get the worm rock
Clown fish look the same. Black Ocellaris clownfish are all black, looks like two Gladiators.
I want to get in coral keeping are they easy to keep and any advice on keeping them
Some corals are easier than others.
Why those clown fish not picked any of those coral to stay after one week?
Not sure, they're very picky haha!
Make a video of Filteration of your Reef tank
There’s no filtration..
Do you dose reef energy every day?
Nope, once or twice a week.
Sorry i wanna ask about your tank, Just use wave maker only or with filtration?
It looks like just filter. It's got near minimal flow
What happened to all them crabs?
