Forza devs should definitely keep adding these weird and unique cars to Forza. I love them and it adds some interesting car variety to the game. And it actually sounds good in this game. It just needed the Valkyrie engine to be perfect.
3:45 really bizarre with the developers’ decision to put the Aston in the retro sports car when it should have been in the Retro Saloons class. Kind of like when the developers placed the recently added Mercedes AMG SL63 in the Super Saloons class when it should have been in the GT class.
A guy named Filip Turek from Czechia has one, its the first ever made IV gen from the guy who worked on it and and guess what? The cluster doesn't work but he's trying to fix it. And now also he is one of the Czechia MP of the EU parlament.
It's a damn disapointment stock engine can be only upgraded to 600HP (640 with forced aspiration), despite such big displacement. Weight reduction or track tier tires kinda spoil the fun with this chunky boi. And you're absolutely right: Engine swaps should be primarly sourced from same manufacturer, and preferably newer car in model line. Annoys the hell out of me that we have like 20 Mustangs in game, but when Mustang '69 runs out of upgrades to reach A class, it can be only swapped with pickup diesel and 2 Chevrolets
I don't believe Aston Martin would be happy about Forza devs allowing us to tinker with the Valk engine in other cars. Beside that, I'm pretty sure the would have done it.
I think the newer vantage V8 would be kinda cool to have in it. also seeing this thing makes me kinda want one just redo the electronics, swap out the engine and transmission
Nick's history of the Lagonda Marque is a little off. It was another manufacturer of luxury cars. W.O. Bentley went to work for them after the Bentley company had been sold to Rolls Royce. He oversaw the design of an overhead cam six cylinder engine for Lagonda. This engine caught the attention of David Brown owner of Aston Martin as Aston's own engines were not that great. He brought Lagonda and put the Lagonda engine into early 50's Astons. So there is a thin argument that some Aston Martins have Bentley engines.
