Hi friends! Today I am sharing my swatches of the new Starrily Pi Day nail polish collection for spring 2024 - we have a trio of new nail polishes in a variety of different finishes from holo to metallic foil and even a sheer flakie polish that you'll either love or hate LOL. My MIL got me this set for my birthday yesterday, and I literally used Blueberry Pi like 30 minutes ago. I'm obsessed. All three formulas are incredible!

At one point in middle school, I was highly competitive and didn't have much else to do, so I started studying for our Pi competition a year ahead of time. I got up to 700 digits. I don't know them anymore, and I don't tend to share this fact a lot because there were probably much better uses of my time and brain energy 😅

That blueberry pi over black looks like a chrome finish almost. I really didn't care for it much on its own, but once you showed it over black it totally transformed.
I am so impressed at how it turned out, not patchy at all over black!!

Me starting this video: if Kelli hates this collection, I'm going to cry. Very relieved! This is the most original theme for a set that I've ever seen. Would love to see more creative themes instead of everyone doing fairy tale collections

i can't wear a name or a theme, but oh wow, the whole box design and polishes themselves are beautiful. 3.14K Gold is exactly the kind of orange gold i run towards.
i never memorized pi, so just know the 3.14. ask me to fill out a blank periodic table and i'll be much more in my comfort zone.
They really did an incredible job making these colors!!
Super fun color story, but I LOVE 3.14K Gold. 3.14K Gold looks like it has such a rich, warm tone that I've been looking for in an egyptian gold polish.
Pi day is my birthday so I gifted myself this kit. I love it so much!
Starrily is my favorite nail polish brand. I bought two of the three polishes when they sent the announcement email, so they've already arrived. The first one I did a mani with is Infinity Rose. I'm not a big of sheers or speckled flakies, so that's why I skipped Blueberry Pi.
My favorite polish of all time is Starrily's Death Wish.

Such a random trio, I wouldn’t have pictured them for a math theme but I would wear all three they fit so many of my moods!!!! I wish I could get it, hopefully it’s not limited 😓 but as always thanks for the review!

Blueberry Pi is ugly leaning prugly imo and that is what I LIVE for. Esp. bc it looks like the inspo! If some brand made an entire collection of this level of prugly my wallet would open itself & spew money at them 😅😂 But as far as this collection goes, love it. Love blueberry the best. Wish it weren't sheer. The other 2 are pretty & wearable. Love the pi stickers! So fun & nerdy! ❤ 100% on board!
I would wear orange gold in fall if given it The one that shocked me was blueberry over black. Went from not caring about it to thinking it was so pretty. Reminded me of blueberry on strawberry shortcake cartoons;)

I actually love them. I think Infinity and Blueberry are my favorites which shock me!! I always go for the orangy gold colors. Always. The stickers... I could take them or leave them but the polishes are so pretty.
So I love infinity rose and the number one 👀 sssh, blueberry pi I really wasn't sure so watched it couple more times and I think I'm liking it now, its definitely unusual not seen anything quite like it before, looks amazing over black, stickers are really cute as well ❤

@@KelliMarissa I have a semi-eidetic memory. I can see something and remember it for as long as I keep using it. Plus, we math majors were always testing each other on who knew more pi digits. I'm super competitive, so I learned that many to be on top, LOL.

I felt like 3.14K was too similar to Au, and I think that we all have a good rose gold linear in our collections by now 🤷♀. Plus uh... I think Blueberry Pi gives Pineapples Have Peelings Too vibes 😬. It's all just a miss for me I'm afraid! 😅

I love these and I love Starrily, but I have a bone to pick with their brushes 😭. I definitely prefer a wide flat brush and the formula IS easy to work with. However, all of my Starrily brushes lately have this weird fraying in the center that makes their brushes misshapen and hard to control (even when I open new bottles for the first time) 😢
I love Infinity Rose but am not big on ugly pretties. The stickers are cute.

Haha it's definitely a hit or miss shade!
I always forget about pi day because there isn't a 14th month and pi is 3.14.... So it would be the 3rd of the 14th month. I never remember that its in American date format so miss it! (everywhere else in the world does day, month, year in ascending order). I don't really remember pi to very many digits as I have never really seen the point in memorising it. I have dyscalculia so numbers sometimes switch places on me anyway. So I'd rather use that part of my brain for remembering strings of numbers I actually need to remember like important phone numbers.
Haha that's a fair reason! I tend to remember numbers very well so I think I just remember what would show up on my calculator lol!

The only unique polish isn’t for me but I love the pi pun for the gold one. I know the first 2 decimals. I know a 9 and 5 are in there somewhere toward the beginning but I never cared to memorize it since there’s no need to. I love math and enjoy memorizing things but this is not one I ever cared about. Not like anyone will ever memorize the whole thing LOL
I memorized 50 digits in high school and I can still recal 25 of them

Blueberry Pi seems to be a bit controversial imo since a lot of people hate sheer pearl polishes and dark flakies and that polish happens to have both! You can see from a few of my comments and on Starrily's social media that some people strongly dislike it haha, personally I love it 🥰

Not into it. Just my color preferences (and maybe that I hate blueberries. The WORST of all the berries imho 😂) I don’t often wear pink, so the Infinity Rose just isn’t in my wheelhouse. Looks like an outstanding polish if you like pink holo. The 🫐 🥧 over black was unexpectedly gorgeous. Not into it on its own. 😢 And lastly, that is not gold. That’s like brassy coppery not gold. Am I alone here? Not that it’s ugly, but if you’re going to say it’s gold it’s should be gold in tone. Amirite?
