- Almost 1 year aboard the Kona Process X, and all I can say is WOW!
The Process X is a super-shredder that can handle some of the roughest MTB trails around.
Prediction: You'll be seeing Kona's shorter travel bikes looking more like the X. Slacker, steeper seat tube angles, straighter lines, reduced offset fork. I know these are obvious.

I do not know how this Kona rides but looks totally beautiful.
Thanks! Still one of my favorite builds I’ve done 🤙🏼
@@DrJMTB What is you height? I am 187 cm and thinking like crazy what size to buy.
How was the overall reliability of this bike for you? Pivot bearings seem a little more exposed than other frames.
On this bike for about a year, and I had to change the pivot bearings once. I wouldn’t think this to be exceptional in either direction.
so i had a process 153 (model 2020 medium) and i was not happy about it...went to Spain to ride the mountains (enduro) but men that was a mistake... issues that i had with de process 153 when taking big hits/drops, the bike collapses making the bike shorter in reach, feel like im under bike, felt like a small bike and the stack hight for steep stuff just didnt work for me, even with a 35 mm rise 800mm barr....for Bike park stuff it is okay..the process 153 is not a full-on enduro bike in my book..it's more like a trail bike that wants to be a enduro bike. (do to its travel)...if your background is XC, then it will feel at home do to the style and position on the bike...
Kona definitely upped their game with the Process X!
