- Back with a foundation wear test/first impression video on the NEW L'Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear 24 Hour Powder Foundation! I ended up doing a two-day wear test on this new L'Oreal powder foundation because I seriously could NOT make up my mind LOL. I first heard about this foundation when I found out it was selling out in every store and then online because of course - they had become viral TikTok products!
This foundation claims to be FULL coverage, waterproof, sweatproof, 24 hour wear and provides a blurring effect. It's suitable for oily to normal skin but they also say it's good for all skin types... I talk about my thoughts on this in the video. There are 16 shades (even though the website says 14 shades) and they retail for around $11.99. I heard people comparing the coverage to the new Fenty Beauty powder foundations but I think they're fairly different.
I was able to get my hands on these from CVS and I bought the L'Oreal powder foundation in shade 180 Linen and 220 Sand. For the Maybelline Sky High waterproof mascara I bought blackest black and let you guys know how it wore throughout the day.

MY SHADES:
Typically I'm in the medium shade range with neutral undertones. These are the shades I've used in the past, but they may vary since I do get very tan in the summer and lose a lot of color in the colder months. It just depends on when I've tried them!

I wish I saw your video before I went out and purchased. All other videos are like “it’s amazing! Blur effect! So natural!” - yours is the only honest review.
I love powder foundations and was running low. This is probably one of the worst I’ve bought - clings to everything on the skin, super powdery - just hate it. Also got 180 and it’s too light and the other shade was too dark. Ugh
I’m going to stick to my innisfree.

Yes a brush is definitely the way to go!! I’ve been testing it as a setting powder on top of liquid foundation and that seems to remedy the clinging too!

Isn't beige sand between linen and sand?
Its good to know it has a matte finish. I wanted it cause was thinking it was a satin finish. Definitely looked better on you after a few hours. I love that eyeshadow on you. Can you please tell me what shadow you’re wearing?
Yes for sure a matte finish right off the bat! I was wearing nudestix matte stick in fig and Charlotte tilbury cream shadow in amber gold!
Wait what was the stuff that you put on before the foundation?
I’m NC35 don’t know what foundation shade will be better for me 😒 btw Can you please tell me what product did you used in 4:30 before using huda beauty concealer...it looks great on you 👍
Girlll....I just purchased linen and I was also stuck in between those two shades....I just got home and tried and I look horrible.....did you end up trying a different shade besides those 2? What other shade do you recommend? I am neutral undertoned as well .....about the same skin color as you.
I didn't end up trying a diff color! After wearing it a few times, I just couldn't get it to look the way I wanted to - it was always hit or miss for me
Great review. Just curious did you apply sunscreen under your primer and makeup? If your on tretinoin you definitely need to be wearing spf everyday!! If you did, I would be sure and mention it next time!
Yup I wear sunscreen everyday even before I started using tret!
You should try golden beige.

I’ve been using the same thing since then and I vary how often I use weekly based on how my skin is reacting!
There is so much pre makeup applied! I see this with every tutorial done on this makeup PLEASE show us if this full coverage makeup works without covering your face fully with makeup underneath
It doesn’t. At least not for me!
If you have super dry skin get cera v it works instantly on dry skin

I'm NC20 and I like 130 True Beige for winter and I think 140 Golden Beige for summer - I say think as I'm about to buy that! :) * edit to add ok no, 140 is way too dark for me, I've just checked out some other youtuber videos. Think I'll stick to 130 True Beige and just use some bronzer in summer!

Yes! I was saying through my phone "Mix it." Lol I always have to mix my foundations. Or at least use the light color in the center as the more highlighted area
Why didn't you just try to mix sand and linen together as an actual foundation. It might have worked out better for you vs using it as a setting powder
