Where did you get that info? I’ve gone through a whole one of these and I don’t think that’s true. No where on their website does it claim this. And the outer edges of powder have just as much coverage as the center with no noticeable formulation difference.
Tried, love! I have troubled, worn out, 70 year old skin; laser scarring, big pores, lines, etc. I have tried many foundations. I’m keeping this, using it throughout the day to touch up, to cover scars. It’s a win. Thanks for your content! 😘
I just got this in the mail from Amazon. On 56 year old skin with combination T-Zone, Rosacea and many fine lines, it covered great, blurred the larger pores on my nose and evened out my Rosacea. It bunched up a little over Loreal's green BB cream if I did not blend the cream well, and it needed the slightest of touchups on my nose and to either side of the nose where I have the center of the face t-zone, but a quick pat of PM powder made it look brand new! I love this stuff, especially now that even the Loreal liquid infallible fresh wear (my longtime holy grail) emphasizes the tiny hairs on my face and settles into my fine lines , this does not. My new fave!
It was definitely worth the hunt! My tip: I was at a drugstore and thought they were completely out because the wall display had none in the racks, but then there was an endcap on a different aisle that had a small selection of shades-- so look around if there's a "new" product section separate from the rest of the brands!

This foundation looks stunning on you! The wear on this seems to be perfect for sweating in the heat, which is what I might need for the horrible Florida summers. On a completely unrelated note, this video finally has me noticing how much some of your features are exactly like my sister's...and she's gorgeous just like you. My one question would be how you think this would wear on drier patches of skin.
Aw thank you Erin!! Yes I love the lightweight feel and I think it'd be great here in the summer as well when I want the coverage without a heavy layer. Because it's sort of an almost creamy powder (it's not dry or dusty) I feel like it could potentially work over dry areas. There have been a few people in the comments that said it works for their dry skin!
bought this 1 week ago for an emergency event, tried it on in the car on a rush and I was impressed how it covered my pores (around my nose area and cheeks) really well, and it is medium coverage as it did cover my acne scars but I had to dab it over a little more often to cover those up, overall very satisfied with the sudden purchase and would repurchase again!

Am 73 years old and although powder foundations are generally not recommended for us older girls, I absolutely love this foundation! Like you, have combo skin and liquids always settle into pores giving a "polka dot" appearance, which I hate. Also loved your video...good job!
I love this foundation! I recently decided it’s the best one, I tried Mac studio powder and it just takes a bit to build it up and I didn’t like how it sat on my skin. I tried make up forever velvet powder and that just sits weird on my face too. The L’Oréal takes 2 seconds to put on and going in with a light hand with a flat kabuki it goes on so seamless and perfect. L’Oréal hit it with this one and it is always sold out. But I luckily found my shade at wal mart and I’m so happy with it. I also have the Maybelline super stay too! I feel like these two foundations are the best drug store ones and over all the best over high end too! L’Oréal age perfect powder foundation is good but the shades suck. If they came out with a lighter shade then ivory I would get it and have my 3 favorites to choose from. Maybe L’Oréal will see my review on that LOL.
I 100% agree, before this one the maybelline was the only powder foundation that looked good and gave me enough coverage. Now I can go between the two depending on what's in stock. Thanks for watching!!
Wow! Glad I stumbled onto your review of this. I used liquid foundation for a hot minute & discovered it melted into my expression lines also. I don't wear make-up during the week much so I was looking for a full coverage powder that isn't too expensive. Now I just need to find my shade. Thanks for the review!

So far I like this. I was using Revlon Color Stay Pressed Powder for years which I love. But at 61, and now living in Florida, I need a bit more coverage sometimes than just a pressed powder. This foundation powder with its claims of staying fresh etc seemed like the answer. I enjoyed your video.

Yess unfortunately with any type of friction, if your mask is in direct contact with your face and especially if you're talking or the mask is slightly rubbing, it WILL transfer... though starting out with a transferproof product will help!
I tan very easily which can be a blessing and a curse! I love that tan glow, but then so much of my makeup doesn't match me for a good portion of the year until it fades 😂
I made the same mistake of purchasing this foundation in summer. Couldn't use it in winter. 😅 but i am so ditching my liquid one for this, for the summer. 😂😂 They both are infallible, but i like the feel of powder foundation better. Its just sooo light. I have the same sort of skin, this one makes me look pleasantly tan, which isnt far away from my shade much.

Im convinced I need to try this at some point. The only problem for me is Id have to put sunscreen underneath it. Where as with my IT CC, I dont have to do that.
To be fair, you should also be putting on sunscreen with your It CC cream as well. With foundations and bb creams, people typically aren't putting on the actual recommended amount for adequate sun protection because then it would be too much pigment/product. Wayne Goss has a video on this. So layering a sunscreen under SPF makeup is still a good move so that you actually have enough on the skin!

I'm not familiar with the older range-- this is a brand new product of last year, do you mean they changed the names for this product since it launched? They do have a Sand and Beige Sand in this line, with the plain "Sand" being a bit warmer. If you buy at Ulta you should have no issues exchanging or returning if it's not your shade!

This is the only one I've tried so I haven't been able to see any of them up close but I think True Beige would work for me because I do have a pretty neutral undertone. A lot of "golden" foundations end up too warm on me. Vanilla looks SLIGHTLY too yellow.
Mine sorta exploded! I got it, wore it maybe 6 weeks, it was very good but it cracked and bum! All shattered by itself. Shortest foundation experience.
I think this one has a bit more initial coverage though the Maybelline one can build up to be equivalent... but the texture of L'Oreal is a bit "creamier" and doesn't create as much dust particles when applying which is nice. The performance is very similar, the Maybelline one doesn't settle in my lines and the coverage lasts 8+ hours without fading HOWEVER it doesn't claim to be sweatproof/waterproof and I haven't really pushed it to test those claims particularly either.

Did you ever buy the True Beige to see if it was a better match? I bought the Golden Beige and it is slightly too dark and I can't figure out from the L'Oreal website what is the next color that is lighter. I guess it's the True Beige????
I didn't-- I ended up 'growing into' this shade after getting some summer sun! I do think True Beige would be my shade otherwise, since that's the name of a lot of the other l'oreal foundations that match me
I have tried this several times with my combo skin with different primers, moistures, serums etc. it balls up and peels off my skin and makes my pores look terrible
My boyfriend got me a gift card for Ulta after my cataract surgery I chose the infallible foundation I have very porcelain skin ivory believe it or not is too dark for my completion

I wouldn't know, haven't tried any Mac foundations. I mostly use drugstore. Though back when I used Make Up For Ever I was Y215 or Y225 depending on time of year
I don't think it would be uncomfortable on dry skin but it may catch if you have actual dry patches/flakiness. I have combo/dry skin in winter but combo/oily in summer.
It didnt work for me, i have mature combination skin AND this settle in my wrinkles so bad! Made me look very dry I think this works better in younger skin.of course this Is my experience

Well my summer shade is my winter shade which is ice queen pale 😂😂😂 I wish I could get a tan! But I just get sunburned very quickly 🙈

This is still one of my faves but I would say the e.l.f. Camo Powder Foundation is pretty similar, cruelty free and a few dollars less!

Powders have a bit of a drier (matte) finish. I think the liquid one has more coverage but the ease of swiping this on is nice for quick looks.

I didn't-- I ended up 'growing into' this shade after getting some summer sun! I do think True Beige would be my shade otherwise, since that's the name of a lot of the other l'oreal foundations that match me
I have tried this several times with my combo skin with different primers, moistures, serums etc. it balls up and peels off my skin and makes my pores look terrible
Can you use this with the infallible liquid ?
Since this is a powder foundation, it's heavier than a setting powder. I would think you might start having a heavy look if you try to layer the two.

It's reallllly hard for me to say since this shade is already a bit dark on me, I didn't feel like it got darker throughout the day though.

No, I actually found setting spray to mess up the longevity and smooth finish. Just wear it on its own.

I wouldn't know, haven't tried any Mac foundations. I mostly use drugstore. Though back when I used Make Up For Ever I was Y215 or Y225 depending on time of year

I don't think it would be uncomfortable on dry skin but it may catch if you have actual dry patches/flakiness. I have combo/dry skin in winter but combo/oily in summer.

Hmm I’ve never tried it like that… not sure the powder texture would blend as well when wet.
I always use it on wet face because I have dry skin and fits so perfect just love it with dry sponge my face becomes cakey@@slashedbeauty
