I got one of those pen rods along with the spinning reel and fly reel as a gift a few years ago. I've tried the fly reel yet, but as aspinning setup' that little rod is a lot of fun, I spooled it with 4 lb super-braid line and I was surprised at how far it could toss a tiny microlite crank-bait like the Rebel Crickhopper

You can use the black button for casting too. Let your lure off a foot or more and whip and release at the same time the way you'd cast a spinning reel. These are great for bobber fishing too. The extra weight makes it easier to cast.

I hope ur fine and all , Well i have no suggestions but i hope u have people around u at all times while u fish , and talking about u being in a wheelchair I believe that that wont stop u from fishing , so my advice , do what ever others do , but in ur wheelchair , becuz u can do it but if u are going to fish for bigger fish like Marlins and fishes like Tuna , u might need support from a friend to hold u down and u must try to lift weights so ur arms are going to be ready for that sweet strike , Tbh i got nothing for ya but support , Be safe on the oceans or river sides :D
