Yeah I’m on the fence with that because even with that beard we don’t see him look that old, some wrinkles would help but other than that I love the design, looks closer to live action
If they do make a second season, Id adore to see more of a young palpatine and him becoming involved in politics, on naboo and corruscant as well as joining and perhaps the poisoning scene of plageuis, which of course happens just before he meets with maul. That could be fun to see, his training of maul whilst still being under plageuis
Count Dooku is severely underrated. He is like the Mafia boss or Godfather of Star Wars. He had class, elegance, honor and was respected by friends and his enemies like Don Corleone. If needed Dooku could create fear in others through his powerful force abilities and the arrogance of his words. He approached his training like Kobe Bryant approached basketball. They outworked their peers and mastered their craft like none other. They opted for skill and gracefulness in their art. Dooku is my favorite Sith Lord i cant wait for this.
Yaddle is a pretty impressive kill for Dooku. She was very powerful with the Force and wielder of techniques many have forgotten. But, like Sidious found out, if you let it become a strict saber duel, you are taking more of a risk. Especially with swordsmen like Dooku and Mace.
So the standing theory about this is that at some point we will see Dooku delete the coordinates for Kamino. Yaddle sees this. And follows dooku to see what he is up to. Which is why we can see her fly to the workers district. There we will see them duel and ultimately Yaddle won't make it out.
I'm excited to see what they do with this tales series. There's a reason they cast Christopher Lee as Dooku and thats to have used Lee's fame and genuine real life legend to bolster Dooku's character. I mean Lee was the inspiration for James Bond for crying out loud, I doubt there would be a character he'd play that wasn't written as a genius in some way
No matter how any of us feel about Disney’s Star Wars, I think it’s funny that most of us are truly excited about Tales of the Jedi, more so than anything else.
Woo Hoo!!! I’ve been saying this for years ever since I saw Yaddle in The Phantom Menace… and always thought Dooku could’ve maybe killed her during his fall to the dark side, so I’m beyond excited to see this actually happening in Canon!!
I don’t believe he can do this and still fit into the prequels. The prequels establish him as an honorable person who the Jedi can’t even believe would be behind the assassination attempt on Padme. If he kills Yaddle then there would be no reason for the Jedi to believe him a noble former Jedi and not an all out sith. Also Yaddle was very powerful and sat on the council, her being killed by Dooku would actually suck and would end her mysterious story line in canon. I always felt it would be great to see her again as a training figure for Grogu
Yaddle is female for one, and we never know what actually happens to her in canon (I know she does in comics but thats legends) So dooku could very well be fighting her, sidious comes out of nowhere and kills her and it gets covered up,so the Jedi don't know dooku was behind it
I said in a Thor Skywalker video, I am not a fan of the way they have seemingly portrayed Dooku: It looks as though he’s this Jedi teetering on the edge of the dark side and is essentially a villain at this point. I listened to the Dooku audiobook several years ago and really loved it. He's an extremely interesting character. Very complex and has a really fleshed out backstory. Honestly, he was a little too one dimensional and cartoonishly evil in the Clone Wars series and in the movies. He has much deeper motivations and ideology than just that. I'm really excited to see what they do with him in this show.
I think Yaddle may follow Dooku and then discovers that Palpatine is a Sith, so she wants to tell the Jedi Council but Dooku fights her and kills her. Or maybe Palpatine kills her and Dooku attends the funeral. We will see
Cant wait for this! I didnt noticed the background behind Yaddle that its actually Sidious hideout which makes it so much exciting. But just to put it out there its short stories, so I wouldnt set my hopes up for a season 2, but hey anything can happen. I have read that the trailer for "TALES OF THE JEDI" has the most views of any of the new trailers/teasers we got from Star Wars. 👍👍👍
she is definitely gonna follow dooku and find sidious there with him. then as one of sidious’ tests, he will make dooku fight her alone and prove himself, as she couldnt leave there alive at that point as she would ruin the sith grand plan. hope yaddle doesnt die easily, as a member. i dont like animation very much, at least not compared to live action, but i have to say this is going to be one of the most interesting pieces of star wars content yet. im more excited for this one yaddle vs dooku fight than i am for all of andor.
Great video Theory. I believe Yoda, Mace, et al don't think Dooku did this because of the way they defended him when Padme accused him of trying to assassinate her in Ep. II. Even Dooku boasted to Obi-wan, "The dark side has clouded their vision."
I would love to see a younger Maul being trained by Sidious and seeing him finally transition into a Darth as he grew stronger with the dark side sometime in the show
Just read the Revenge of the Sith Novel by Matthew Stover, and the fact that Dooku is completely discriminatory to other species in that book, as well as having a hatred for droids, is interesting to me. I doubt it will be to that extreme here, but Dooku in that portrayal was very evil in wanting to use, and then enslave all the Separatists after the fabricated war was over. He was definitely not seen as an idealist there, nor in the Clone Wars of course with all the evil he constantly did in that show.
I think a series like this could go on for a while. Every so often we could get 6 episodes revolving around two Jedi. Maybe even sith, bounty hunters, other force users or clones later down the line. Windu, Qui-Gon, Plo Koon, Grievous, Young Palpatine, Darth Plagueis, Darth Bane, inquisitors, mother Talzin… etcetera, etcetera. This format has so much potential to discover lesser known characters, as well as flashing out main characters even more.
So you think Yaddle saw Dooku was acting suspiciously and followed him to the works? I can totally see Dooku killing Yaddle, then Sidious walking out and congratulating Dooku on his abilities
Sir Christopher Lee is a legend and his life should be at least a 2 part movie. He did so much and witnessed so much in his life its almost unbelievable. However, you did tell a bit of a tale with his being a "World Champion Fencer". He was a fencer in college, but hardly a Champion. I think he may be credited with the most fencing/sword style rolls in history, but still not a Champion in fencing. He was a Champion at a much more difficult sport......life.
No way does dooku kill yadel I just think that yadel is on a totally different level than dooku and even if he manages to beat her in lightsaber combat yadel can easily just fall back on her force abilities which are way more powerful than dookus
Something to point out is how in some scenes, Dooku appears younger, without any facial hair, and in other scenes, it may be farther in the future with his beard so the timeline may add up, even if they didn't put any gray in his hair yet. That being said, that gray could have all come from being a Sith honestly with how we know that the dark side corrupts the users body. After all, both Dooku and Palpatine have extremely aged, white hair in the Prequels.
What George said about lightsaber crystals should and always stick. You do know that was a stunt swordsman in a white beard and wig in ATOC. Just a lot of ILM magic. Can't wait for the new show!!

The scenes with Yaddle want to make you think he kills her, but I think they are re introducing her for more content later....
This ages well
Damn ur good at this
There is no way dooku still looks that young after episode one
Yeah I’m on the fence with that because even with that beard we don’t see him look that old, some wrinkles would help but other than that I love the design, looks closer to live action
Love that the theory videos are back
I’m not thrilled about Dooku retconning the Dooku Jedi Lost is crazy to me
I immediately saw this coming as soon as that snippet of them fighting showed up
These are my favorite videos from this channel
If they do make a second season, Id adore to see more of a young palpatine and him becoming involved in politics, on naboo and corruscant as well as joining and perhaps the poisoning scene of plageuis, which of course happens just before he meets with maul. That could be fun to see, his training of maul whilst still being under plageuis
Shouldn't dooku look older if it's after episode 1?
Dark Side
Episode 2 is ten years after episode 1. Considering how much Obi-Wan aged from the 9 years after Kenobi it isn't too surprising
Thank you for putting this in the thumbnail.
Honestly I would have loved to see Sifo Dyas' last stand.
There we will see them duel and ultimately Yaddle won't make it out.
the coffin looks too big for it to be Yaddle
I'm excited to see what they do with this tales series. There's a reason they cast Christopher Lee as Dooku and thats to have used Lee's fame and genuine real life legend to bolster Dooku's character. I mean Lee was the inspiration for James Bond for crying out loud, I doubt there would be a character he'd play that wasn't written as a genius in some way
No matter how any of us feel about Disney’s Star Wars, I think it’s funny that most of us are truly excited about Tales of the Jedi, more so than anything else.
No because yaddle is in phantom menace which is after
Maybe yaddles death was covered up. The Jedi won’t know dooku killed her and might blame something else for her death
Yaddle is female for one, and we never know what actually happens to her in canon (I know she does in comics but thats legends)
So dooku could very well be fighting her, sidious comes out of nowhere and kills her and it gets covered up,so the Jedi don't know dooku was behind it
I said in a Thor Skywalker video, I am not a fan of the way they have seemingly portrayed Dooku:
It looks as though he’s this Jedi teetering on the edge of the dark side and is essentially a villain at this point. Qui-Gon was devoted to him and his teachings, Qui-Gons views stem from Dooku’s - Dooku was a Jedi purist, he never truly joined the sith and only went under Sidious when he believed it was the only way to cleanse the galaxy of corruption, essentially he was a good guy like Anakin (up to a point). It was a massive shock and blow for him to betray the jedi order and there is no way Windu would have said “it’s not in his character” if he was as hostile as he was in that trailer (even less so if he had killed a fellow jedi)
I just don’t see him as someone who would attack his own apprentice. He was someone who grew to see corruption and politics infiltrating the senate and the Jedi.
We even see Dooku as almost conflicted Attack of the Clones.
Hopefully, I’m proven wrong.
“Sith’s dont meditate”
Count Dooku in Clone Wars: “Excuse me?”
Hang on?
yAEdle?
dude you give so much hope to us, i am actually afraid that the show wont meet my expectations :DD
Dooku Jedi Lost is an amazing book! 9/10 fs
Well, spot on my man
Do they burry any Ewok’s in Yaddle’s coffin?
I would very much love to see Yoda and his apprentice Dooku on a mission.
We will see
Maybe we will get the fight we have been waiting for like Mace Windu VS Dooku in like a Jedi training thing or something
"You know, m'lady, that Count Dooku was once a Jedi. He couldn't assassinate anyone."
she is definitely gonna follow dooku and find sidious there with him. then as one of sidious’ tests, he will make dooku fight her alone and prove himself, as she couldnt leave there alive at that point as she would ruin the sith grand plan. hope yaddle doesnt die easily, as a member. i dont like animation very much, at least not compared to live action, but i have to say this is going to be one of the most interesting pieces of star wars content yet. im more excited for this one yaddle vs dooku fight than i am for all of andor.
that's a very good theory about everything
God I cannot wait for this show
Great video Theory. I believe Yoda, Mace, et al don't think Dooku did this because of the way they defended him when Padme accused him of trying to assassinate her in Ep. II. Even Dooku boasted to Obi-wan, "The dark side has clouded their vision."
Cant say he was the best when anakin did strike him down
I would love to see a younger Maul being trained by Sidious and seeing him finally transition into a Darth as he grew stronger with the dark side sometime in the show
Just read the Revenge of the Sith Novel by Matthew Stover, and the fact that Dooku is completely discriminatory to other species in that book, as well as having a hatred for droids, is interesting to me. I doubt it will be to that extreme here, but Dooku in that portrayal was very evil in wanting to use, and then enslave all the Separatists after the fabricated war was over. He was definitely not seen as an idealist there, nor in the Clone Wars of course with all the evil he constantly did in that show.
As a fencer myself, i always loved Dooku's dueling style
I miss her :(
I think a series like this could go on for a while.
Sith dont Meditate:
Darth Vader: AM I A JOKE TO YOu?!
You were right Star Wars Theory. I have doubted your opinions of the prequels but you know the characters very well.
So you think Yaddle saw Dooku was acting suspiciously and followed him to the works? I can totally see Dooku killing Yaddle, then Sidious walking out and congratulating Dooku on his abilities
It's already been leaked that Yaddles killed by Dooku.
And then he gets named Darth Tyranus by Palpatine.
I’ve always pronounced Yaddle like paddle
Finally we get to see young Dooku in a Star Wars show, nice!
Yeah, I think so too. And if he does, ANY sympathy I have for him as a character is gone, 100%.
This show is about to be INSANE.
NO WAYY HE GOT IT
Well we needed this for very long time.
Sir Christopher Lee was an awesome actor, in and out of his own time. Rest in peace :(
What George said about lightsaber crystals should and always stick. You do know that was a stunt swordsman in a white beard and wig in ATOC. Just a lot of ILM magic. Can't wait for the new show!!
