These two movies Nirmon and Amchem Noxib shows the quality of Goan movie talent with artists, music and direction. It is unfortunate that the industrialist in Goa who could finance and make business didn't support to continue the talent. In Goa and we had money people who could unite and support and make money. However, looked to suck for for their families.
Frank Fernand is the unsung hero of Konkani song. His songs and music continue to regale us but the man who would have been 100 years old this third of May is all but forgotten. Thankfully his music lives on.

Thursday(23/7/2020) :-In the time of "CORONAVIRUS WORLD WAR - 3" in 2020 when your own life is at the hands of a invisible pandemic it's cinema and music that breaks all barriers and provides solace and entertainment.Remember seeing the movie "Amchen Noxib" " with my parents in Mombasa in the 1960's a eternal classic. Today happens to be my mother's birthday and she loved Hindi and Konkani films.We were a family of seafarers with my father being a "Cargo Supervisor" based in Mombasa and me later a "Marine Engineer" sailing across the Globe. The Sea and water is always in my veins.This song is in her memory, a evergreen classic. Ahoy !
