Another triumph from the remarkable Jojo Orme. A dance friendly hymn underscored with an electro beat segues into a truly poignant elegy to the pilots who gave their all during the last conflict.... & to those who never made it back - I was almost in tears, too xx
Again, completely amazed by the quality of the work- well done everyone. Heartworms is the most individual thing out there now. I have watched the live shows- and the performances are electrifying.
Have you seen them live yet? I worked a show. Completely forgot I had heard a couple of their songs already and liked them. I was blown away by their live show. Talked with them as we cased the backline and they are one of the coolest bands I've hung with. Now they are on the daily listen. Well at least every other day.
@Dave.Weiss. I can't wait to see them again. Totally forgot to mention this video was filmed by Gilbert Trejo, Danny Trejo's son. Gilbert has done some cool videos. I think this is the 2nd one for Heartworms that I know about and he's done Starcrawler a couple of times also.
Every video, impeccable fashion choices. Its a comforting notion that she hasn't released a bad song, and each new song is a different flavor too. Love this, so glad i found you
I was in a band called heartworms in circa 2010. Just stopped by to make sure the real estate wasn't being tarnished. . Not quite as metal but it will suffice. Squirm on.
Wasn't expecting to find this tonight and it was absolutely beautiful. I connected so much with the whole thing. Love it. Thank you whoever you are for showing up in my feed.
Me, klicking this not knowing at all what to expect: "Hm, wonder if this is actually going to be about warplanes" Seconds in: "It most definitely is, apparently" Never expected a BoB tribute to sound or look anything like this, what a great way to be surprised!

Oh! I can help with this! I saw the video for retributions and loved it. So I listened to the two songs she had released. I shared consistent dedication to my story, and bought a shirt from her bandcamp. She thanked me in a very sweet message, and I happened to be visiting my brother a few weeks later so I offered to shoot her while I was there. That shoot became the video for 24 hours. Getting the word out via social media, purchasing merch, and offering any services for free are great boots on the ground ways to help new young artists directly. Not sure what school she went to though!
JUST discovered this and wow I am hyped for this album now. Nothing else like this
Here after Extraordinary Wings. Brb wiping my eyes and thinking about everyone we've lost to the egos of rich warmongers
Oh my god.....❤❤❤Im in love!!
This is awesome!
Excellent track. Electronica with a choir. Wonderful

@@pyrotarkus Yes, saw them at The Last Dinner Party, and then a couple of shows after- absolutely hooked.

Another outstanding track. Heard it live a few times. I can't wait for the album release, and to see you again on tour. Fly high Jojo!
Holy shit I still can't believe we have this
very refreshing piece of music, thank you
Having warplanes or strings emulating each other's sounds is so fucking mega.
Trejo & Orme...Crushing it again!!!!! Brilliant.
Absolute Class.
Music by and for warbird nerds. Hell yeah
2:46 so good
That beat though.....❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 Also, I feel like there is an early 60's experimental film about WWII distributed across all of the Heartworms videos.
got this as a random recommendation by youtube
yeah this goes hard
Every video, impeccable fashion choices.
Its a comforting notion that she hasn't released a bad song, and each new song is a different flavor too.
Love this, so glad i found you
yeah still too early to be completely sure, but this shaping up to be quite a band

Didn't suggest. Didn't even ask. Didn't miss.

Oh my god I love this so much. Literally voguing to a protest beat. I can't imagine anything more specifically in line with what I fuck with.
Nice song!
Very nice!!
Wow - a mesmerising song 😎👍
Loving it! Kinda sounds like Lahka Muza with a bit of Clan of xymox.

Sky is the limit for this group. Well done 👏🏻
This is like a female version of Trent Reznor in his prime. Kickass. I like it.
Good Morning, subscribed, Posting on X & Following You from Space. 😇😇
Absolutely outstanding. That is such a talented band, I can hardly find words for it.
She's a solo project 🤘
Is this the first time we've seen Spitfires in a video since 1982 and Reap the Wild Wind by Ultravox?
No, it's not.
@@nikkimurtaugh1665oh yes it is

Es tan raro, no la pillo por ningún lado y eso la hace tan maravillosa ❤
As always, I'm feeling like the unofficial ambassador for this artist, I'm running out of superlatives. Play for us at KitCat!!
I need an ambassador for my music videos/horror shorts. It's all original.Nice taste!

She’s such a gorgeous human being, her facial structure is just so mesmerizing 😍
Great song and video but is that a rat running from the left at 3:34? 😅
A bit different, it may grow on me:)
Divest from war stocks. Say no to drone wars
you're gonna love her song Extraordinary Wings then 🫡

[Verse 1]
What a mind
What a kind of bitter thing
To play a war with metal to the beat
Evil though
But I thought
What a plane way to win
By my hands
From my dreams
It is here they cannot win
[Pre-Chorus]
Your friend is high
And I'm even higher
Look in the sky
Can you see a spitfire?
And you say
[Chorus]
Oh, look up there
We'll be free
Oh, look up there
We'll be fine
[Verse 2]
(Pew)
I got told to kick it
Its in my hands, I've got to hit it
Hit it
I can defeat it, ooh
I wanna fly, I wanna fly like you in the sky, ah, oh
Today, today, today, today
In any way (any way, any way, any way)
[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, what we see
And what we feel
And what we breathe
Is it all real?
[Chorus]
Oh, look up there
We'll be free
Oh, look up there
We'll be fine
Oh, look up there
We'll be free
Oh, look up there
We'll be fine
[Outro]
Huh, ah, huh
Ta-ta-ta, ah, huh
Ta-ta-ta, ah, huh
Ta-ta-ta, ah, huh
Ta-ta-ta, ah, huh
Ah, huh
Ah, huh
Great name for a band, great song, too
even better name for a solo project!
So what kind of posh ass school did you go to get Gilbert Trejo on board since the start?
