🙋🏻♀️ Me! Hello!!! I am the person who needed this explained to me in black and white after inheriting this module and having to upgrade my head unit! You are great. Thank you!
Using the RC-1 (with the dip swtiches) which makes programming easy, but I'm stuck on how to connect these wires to the actual harness. Can I just splice them in without cutting original harness wires, or are there pins or something that need to be pushed into the back of the harness? Almost there, I can feel it! LOL
i have a question do you need the pac system even if you do not have the steering wheel controls to make the after market radio work ? im really confused on all of this
So the black is ONLY chassie ground and doesn't connect to the harness. That may have been my issue I was connecting it to the harness and the chassie.

I don't like cutting factory wires, so I often slip a thin connector in the back of the harness plug. Jammed in.
