Weirdly, there's still a lot of channels that still show love to the Vita after all the years but there are only a very small few that make up the best of the best of Vita content makers. And you sir are one of the best of the best and I just wanted to say thank you and let you know how important you are to this community. Please keep it up.
The store music makes me very nostalgic. For me, those were the days of not having my own money to buy anything, so I’d just check the store all the time for fun out of curiosity. 😂
I’m still heavy into my vita everyday after falling off for a few years aside from remote play here and there. It will forever be my favorite console and I’ll never forgive Sony for how it was handled.
This console was my life when I was in high school. Saved some money up and bought this console on launch day! I played MK9 religiously online and was ranked #69 ;) in the leaderboards. Hearing the store and menu music brought back the endless hours I’d spend searching new content on the store and downloading videos from RUclips music vids onto the console. I miss my OG Vita, good times.
I remember when I got my vita day one. I was searching for reviews for PS Mobile games and found your channel. It's kind of crazy how much time has passed since then. I still like coming back here sometimes for some PS news and just to chill. Keep up the good work Ryan!

I haven't got my hands on the vita version of udg yet Did it use the rear touchpad or not? Just wondering bc it may not be compatible with pstv for all I know
@@blueberrycake2272 Not as far as I know/remember haven't played it since 2017 when I got my Vita/it being my first game and physical. It's a very not using the handheld only specific system's features other that maybe touchscreen for menus I think but I haven't played it since then have wanted to replay it though. I haven't tested my games on the Vita TV yet I have yet to that and I forget if it's listed on those lists of the many I have looked to.

@@gloomiy But it doesn't help. If somebody just bought a Vita and this was some sort of PSP video, the guy could have filled his Vita with PSP stuff. It doesn't help much the other way around unless he specifically takes interest in the PSP titles in the Vita store, and even then he can't buy them. He must buy them on a PS3 and then get into his PSP download list. That's the only way to buy PSP games these days, or on a Vita which he probably doesn't have.

Do you have any trouble running games from PKJG where there is a separate download for a patch? If I cancel the download for the patch the games play perfectly, with a patch, the bubble is there but it will not play.
Alright mystic, ya talked me into getting my firat vita about a year ago and gotta say i love that i can play any ps1 game and some great psvita games after modding, also got a ps3 a week ago and followed your building the ultimate ps3 video to a T to mod my 60gb ps3 on the hardware side i love it so much feels like it runs cooler now and am starting to build my collection now. Modded vita I got for $190 with thousands of games and the ability to play nearly every vita game with trophy support is clutch.Easily the best way to go with a vita now a days.

I love that I can play PS1, remastered PS2 AND PSP games in one on the go. And with PS Vita games, I can say that it's the most used handheld system I have.
I love the Vita but I absolutely hate that when you want to play games you have downloaded that it needs to connect to wifi to "check in". That's why I do not regret hacking my vita.

Unfortunately I swapped my psvita for a PS3 in 2015 because I got pissed off for the lack of good exclusive for the system. However it is good to see the system has still been kept alive 😊 . Sony should have been put more love into its system like they did with psp .

Physical copies for the PS Vita games are very pricy! It may be hard at times to find a game for a decent price. My recommendation is to be patient for the game you are looking for, and always keep an eye out in the local area for video game hunting.
I’m still so mad Sony didn’t pay attention to PS Vita. There was no exclusive games like Gran Turismo or God of War like the PSP had. Plus, the marketing for PSP was massive compared to ps vita. I think their real fault was that stupid ps vita memory card that was so expensive. I have two ps vitas and I wish there would be more AAA games in there like the Uncharted or resistance
Not only that, but since Sony no longer makes the cards they're very difficult to find and I can't replace them. Apparently the 64 GB one has a high failure rate and I'm stuck with it because I don't want to mod my system.
You gotta lot of catching up to do. Don't ignore the Vita staples - Tearaway, LBP, Uncharted, Everybody's Golf, Killzone. They're cheap and great games.

I reaaaaaally want a new handheld from Sony. Cut the touchpad on the back, maybe have a touch screen again I'd prefer not to since I don't like touching the screen leaving fingerprint marks. Add L1/L2/L3+ R1/R2/R3 buttons, basically make it feel like a controller with a screen, add the new ps plus with downloads available and streaming. SONY TAKE MY MONEY

The PS Vita is honestly great. What held me back back then was the propierty memory cards, they were incredibly expensive for their small storage. I remember the 8gb card costing over $40. Going all digital was tough, having to uninstall games so often. I'm glad the community created a modding scene for this device. It's possible now to use an SD card adapter specific for the Vita to use a micro SD card!
Same here. I have a fat 1000 that's been heavily used, now I'm looking for a 2000 slim model. Most in my country are very expensive, or not there at all. Unfortunate!
I wasn't sure but of the few vita games I have on cartridge, uncharted golden Abyss is one of them ;) plus, silent hill, book of Memories, child of light, Wolf among us, and Tearaway.
I just picked up the oled model in great condition. I never played persona 4, sly, and the psp god of war games. I’m def excited to hop in and play those.
I’m still bummed and pissed off that Sony removed the ability to transfer games from ps3 to vita/psp. I still have a bunch of install bubbles on my ps3 that I had ready for my backup vitas. I’m not sure how I’m gonna download games on my psp’s either. I never wanted to mod, but I guess that’s the last resort. Awesome video man!
@@cliffturbo2146 Yes, but there are some games that you’ll never be able to play on your Vita if you don’t already have them on there. Such as: Metal gear solid, Silent Hill, Legacy of kain soul reaver, Gun, silent hill origins, Burnout legends/dominator, etc. Some games were only compatible if you transferred them from your ps3 to Vita via usb (which we can’t do anymore). Goodluck!
Sony should make a new high end gaming phone. The problem with the Xperia play is that it didn't have enough power. The problem with the vita is that it didn't double as a smartphone. There's a lot of people that would casually play mobile games but aren't willing to carry around a second device to do so. Sony needs to make an Xperia play that actually has PlayStation worthy specs.
I bought Vita some months ago and is really nice to play on the go better than the phone. Sad is God of war Chain of Olympus and MG peace walker dosent have trophy suport.
This just made me realize how great the vita would have been for streaming games off the new plus subscription and downloading PSP games onto it. Thanks sony for giving up on it.

I sold my vita TV several years ago for way cheaper than I apparently should have looking at ebay lol. Just never used it.. Like my jak silver psp that was pristine but I just never got into it so I sold it too. Semi-regret it but they just sat on a shelf..

I sold my vita reluctantly. It's such a shame that Sony think handhelds are not important and let Nintendo take control of the sector with their overpriced handhelds. Ps Vita had OLED screen at launch and Nintendo have only just released an OLED version for their handheld. This shows how Sony was ahead of the game. Handheld gaming is perfect for when you're travelling or need something small to take with you somewhere. I really wish Sony kept the Vita.

The triple A experiences were why I wanted a Vita so bad. Shame they were few and far between and those memory card prices were fucking atrocious

Such as: Metal gear solid, Silent Hill, Legacy of kain soul reaver, Gun, silent hill origins, Burnout legends/dominator, etc. Some games were only compatible if you transferred them from your ps3 to Vita via usb (which we can’t do anymore). yeah but you can easily mod it and play all of them for free or even emulate pretty much any retro or handheld game you want.
Sony should make a new high end gaming phone. The problem with the Xperia play is that it didn't have enough power. The problem with the vita is that it didn't double as a smartphone. There's a lot of people that would casually play mobile games but aren't willing to carry around a second device to do so. Sony needs to make an Xperia play that actually has PlayStation worthy specs.

I bought Vita some months ago and is really nice to play on the go better than the phone. Sad is God of war Chain of Olympus and MG peace walker dosent have trophy suport.

I just checked the Australian PS Store and noted some interesting differences:
- Instead of "Family Fun" we have "Gamers' Choice"
- The latest release that shows up in the "Latest" section is 2021's Russian Subway Dogs
- Obviously no mention of PS Now

I sold my vita TV several years ago for way cheaper than I apparently should have looking at ebay lol. Just never used it.. Like my jak silver psp that was pristine but I just never got into it so I sold it too. Semi-regret it but they just sat on a shelf..

Downloaded The Sly Cooper trilogy to my PS3 the other day, it was quite the process. I'd like to quantum leap to the timeline where Sony adequately supports the 7th gen era. Probably called Kony or Bony though 😔
I sold my vita reluctantly. It's such a shame that Sony think handhelds are not important and let Nintendo take control of the sector with their overpriced handhelds. Ps Vita had OLED screen at launch and Nintendo have only just released an OLED version for their handheld. This shows how Sony was ahead of the game. Handheld gaming is perfect for when you're travelling or need something small to take with you somewhere. I really wish Sony kept the Vita.
