42:00 Netflix does experiments to get the best landing page Why is Netflix so awful then? Their design makes it feel like they have about 100 movies, 100 series. I can't find their documentaries unless I go looking for them. I keep forgetting my watchlist exist and when I look in it it is a chore to find anything I would like to watch. And this is my watchlist! There are hundreds of classics in there that are great. I think my time on Netflix is 50% looking for what to watch. RUclips on the other hand is not perfect but 99% of the time I can find something interesting within 1 minute like this podcast. That is why I don't get why Netflix would make it even harder and more expensive to keep Netflix.
Default choice presents an interesting ethical question, is it appropriate for other people to influence somebody's decision. I don't have an answer to this question.
