After 3 years, I've finished the rational reminder marathon. What a journey, amazing content. I've learned so much. Thank you for all the incredible content. From now on, I will adapt to the regularly thursday schedule
Excellent point about cognitive decline. My mother had a bank advisor who did a good job, but who after he retired it made me think of ways to automate some of the things he had been doing, which had stopped working when he left. This also has me thinking how to automate payments from my own self-directed plans down the road.
very informative video, before I watched this, I thought there was no reason to ever hire a financial advisor. But it makes sense for people with more complicated financial situations or people who are elderly. Thank you for this episode!
0:22 Gee, "313" is also famously Donald Duck's car license plate number. After Cameron set it up with such enthusiasm, I'd have bet money it would tie in somehow with his story, but alas! No cigar!
When should you hire a Financial advisor? NEVER! unless you love to pay fees and commissions in exchange for a portfolio that won't perform better than having a couple of ETFs.
Where exactly? All I am hearing is great information that points out the factors people should consider when considering if a full service advisor is necessary.

Rational Reminder is, by far, the best financial/ investing podcast of all time and it isn’t close. Thanks.

3 mins in and I really dig Cameron's energy!
Love the podcast. I listen to every one of your shows!
Thank you. (I for one need a table of contents so that I can skip directly to the after show! 😉)
first: Like the video. Second: watch. third: check again that I have liked the video

Did you actually watch the podcast?

Nope! I'm not interested in this subject. Stay away from financial advisors and make more money 💰
No, I just rush to comment as soon as the page loads.
After the introduction, I'm getting some salesperson vibes.

I suggest you listen past the introduction then
You sound like someone who thinks dividends are relevant
