  • Professor Richard H. Thaler, Nobel Prize winning economist and the father of behavioural economics explains nudging and choice architecture with Dr Sandra Peter.
Professor Thaler’s ideas revolutionised economic thinking. The first edition of Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness, co-authored with Cass R. Sunstein, inspired the establishment of more than 400 ‘nudge’ units in governments around the world as well as countless behavioural science teams in every part of the economy.
Nudge is about how we make choices. By knowing how people think, we can use “choice architecture” to nudge people toward the best decisions for ourselves, our families, and our society, without restricting our freedom of choice.
