I hadn't heard of Trefor Bazett before but I checked out the video and it's really good! The examples at the start were very cool - I didn't know that even tree canopies form Voronoi patterns. Thanks for the mention :D
Amazing stuff! I had been trying to find a way to do this exact thing a couple years back and there was nothing, so thanks for finally showing us! Is there a way to add tiling in either direction to the shader in total? I'm trying to use it to add a plasma effect to some laser grid beams which entails cylinders being stretched excessively, this means the texture is also getting stretched, wondering if we can add tiling in one direction to alleviate this? Again, many thanks! 😁
Really good stuff, the result is quite convincing. But I have a pair of suggestions. I don't really fancy the blue progress bar. I find it distracting and the contrast is too high and drags attention to it. And the second, all shader texts are really really small, almost unreadable even in my 24" 1920x1200 monitor. I suggest you should use a bigger typography. But overall, the content is excellent.
I will make sure to get that one then as well ^^ But in the mean time do you maybe have some cool book recommendations which also go a bit more in depth with unity?@@danielilett
ur acc a genius btw can u make a vid explaining how to use your free shader on the asset store I keep getting a pink screen even tho I add the shader in the project settings
I realized that I was very passive in using shaders. Thank you
Weird that Trefor Bazzet made a video explaining veronoi noise the same day

Hey I am really enjoying your book about the shaders currently :) Do you plan on releasing books about other stuff in unity as well?
Glad you're enjoying the book! I don't plan on releasing any new books at the moment, but it's certainly a possibility in the future.
