    I’m just gonna leave this here............incline with the 200s AFTER flat benching and peeled..........Once in a lifetime athlete!

    • @Bavarian_Lifting
      @Bavarian_Lifting Год назад +6

      I was asking myself, how man reps he got with the 200s in the offseason, and without pre exhausting himself with multiple warmup sets with 12+ reps. Insane

    Amazing that he did the 200lbs at the incline bench AFTER he did 200lbs at the flat bench. #oneofakind

    • @primalfury2011
      @primalfury2011 2 года назад +5

      he also performed 10 to 12 reps of 200 on flat too.. Strongmen cant even do that !!! Hell they cant even barely hold the weight before .....in the setup

    • @Turboy65
      @Turboy65 2 года назад +3

      Incline, decline, and flat bench all use different combinations of muscles. You may be worn out on one but still strong on another. I've found that I can smash myself on inclines but I'm still totally fresh for declines.

    • @bdegrds
      @bdegrds 2 года назад +6

      @@Turboy65 your thinking with average weights in an average person's workout with an average persons intensity/effort. You can't compare your workout session with a training session Ronnie had. And incline, decline or flat while it's different angles to stimulate things abit different. It's still pecs, delta, tris not a different combination of muscles. So yes using alot of effort in one especially with heavy weight will obviously pre exaust those same pecs, delta, tris

    • @Turboy65
      @Turboy65 2 года назад +1

      @@bdegrds To some extent, yes, but remember, the pecs aren't just one set of muscles. Upper and lower pecs are different and if your incline and decline angles are sufficient, there is almost NO overlap between the two in press exercises. Doing incline presses at 30 degrees or more causes almost NO involvement of the lower pec. And vice versa. I''m focusing pretty hard on the incline presses to get the fullness of the upper pec for that gorilla chest profile.

    What I like about Ronnie Coleman is that he seemed to always be in a good mood when he worked out. He wasn't pissed off or going around trying to look hard to other people in the gym. He would lift his weights, put them down, and just smile. I think his Southern upbringing had a lot to do with that.

    • @Ganbarizer
      @Ganbarizer 6 месяцев назад

      Yeah. He doesn't try to be something he isn't. He loves working out and it shows. A lot of people treat it like a job they just want to get over or something to feed their ego but he looked forward to training most of the time.
