I love how Brynna likes to be with you as you make the videos 😁🐕👍🏻🌿
Sister is always close by!
Brennan, seems to want to steal the show!🤣 everything is looking great Jenny…❤️🙏
It’s all about the view from the porch and that would be just stunning! How to videos are just the best.
Your doggy in the background just living her best life😘
Gorgeous job 😃 it looks beautiful Jenny 🌸💕🌸
Everything is looking gorgeous! You do a terrific job of pruning!
Looking great! Love the prune job!
Everything so green healthy and beautiful!❤
What a beautiful garden! Thank you for the tips of pruning!💝
Love your garden. Thanks for pruning tips.
Looks beautiful Jenny. Great informative video.
I love the pastoral feel of those beautiful trees, daylillies, and weigela
I love your pruning demonstrations. I just experienced something recently when I was pruning some suckers from around the base of my two crepe myrtle trees. My winterberry hollies nearby also needed some light pruning, and in the process, I discovered a fairly sizable tree growing up through the center of a holly. I cut the tree near the ground, and put it in our yard waste container. I just watched your RUclips video where you showed how the suckers may pop up further from the tree, so now I know to paint a little herbicide directly to the area where I cut the tree just above the ground. Thanks so much for this timely information! 👩🏻🌾
So glad it was helpful!
Thank You Thank You Thank You!!! We have been battling Crape Myrtle suckers growing through shrubs for years...you have just made our gardening lives easier!
Fantastic!
I absolutely love how real you are! 😄 Great pruning job. That front corner of your house is beautiful. Love the new tool belt. I'm glad you like it cause I was actually looking at the same one online!
It’s FANTASTIC!!!!
Deb here. I noticed your t-shirt from Annapolis. Glad you were able to visit. Enjoy seeing Brenna out with her Mom enjoying the gardens.
Lumbar pillows the color of your front door would add some color to your porch. You have a beautiful place to live and it seems you are just making it better day by day!
Your garden is beautiful! The crepe myrtles are beautiful and Brenna is gorgeous! I love your philosophy "it's my garden..." There were too many times I was unsure about planting the "right" plant in the "right" spot. You and Laura (GA) showed me sometimes plants don't always work out where we've planted them; so we can move them, replace them, give them away or toss them. Thank you.🌻
A million yeses!!!! “Perfection” is an illusion and there is so much grace in gardening. Just go for it and adjust if necessary!
Love the beds, trees, and flowers.
Many people let foundation plants overwhelm the house over time. Like to draw a line in my mind of where they should be and cut back to keep them there. Have even cut out of control bushes back by half, to all wood, very little green left, and they have come back beautifully.
Thank you for your humor and of course beautiful gardens. I love Day Lillies, however, I don’t like the wild grass look after blooming.🌸
OMGosh, Jenny,
Brenna's markings have really developed & they are stunning! I especially love how her lighter colored ruff contrasts & sets off the darkness of her face & torso. Of course, in full disclosure I must tell you, I grew up w/ German Shepherds & they are my all-time fav breed, so I am a bit biased. 😉 Anyway, Brenna is a delight & I thoroughly enjoy seeing her in ya'all's videos. 😊
Thank you❣️ She certainly is coming into her own these days♥️
Great job darling. Looks fantastic. Glad you made your appointment. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us. Appreciated.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
JENNY because of you I had to go buy some lantana. I’m going to try it just love it. So Thank you for introducing me to it.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Your Daylily hedge is impressive.
I was recently thinking about that tool belt. Looks neat. I think it is going on by Christmas list.
Day lilies 👏🏻 your hanging baskets are beautiful , yes your garden , your choice 😍
I think I’m definitely sold on the tea olives for the next bed along the side of the house!! They are just so pretty!
I need more Jenny videos in my life
You’re too kind, thank you❣️
Beautiful front yard!
Haha you get much more on your belt, your gonna need suspenders giggle you need a coffee holder for the other side of the belt to even it out . / wink . Kidding love it!
That's what I need! A cup holder for the other side to balance it out! I need to send them an email with your idea 😉
A bottle of water is a great thing to have to stay hydrated in the garden! The little bit of coffee added is just a bonus!
My Crape Myrtles are planted in a row on the side of my house like they are planted at theAtlanta Botanical Garden and after 28 years they tower over my house and shade it and at blooming time in September they are gorgeous.
Looks awesome Jenny 😊
Thank you❣️
Your crepe myrtle are beautiful, wish I could have them in my zone !!
How in the world do you divide that huge hedgerow of day lilies?! They are quite spectacular.
I love everything. Thank you for sharing. What type of boxwoods do you suggest that stay small?
Thanks, Jenny- I would never have thought of pruning in the heat of summer, all the shrubs you worked today were in shade, is that the key for summer haircut?
I’ve been fighting crape myrtle suckers too! ✂️
Good morning my friend have a wonderful day
I trimmed my tea olives into a multi trunk tree. And planted under them.
Day Lilies are gorgeous.
They are spectacular when they are in full bloom. We always look forward to mid to late June 💛
Loved the video! What herbicide do you use? I have some crepe myrtle suckers I want to get rid of too. Thanks!
That spider on the leaf at 10:40 looks like something from Starship Troopers. 😬
The heat got to me so all I accomplished was poking a screwdriver in the driveway crack where weeds were getting a good start in that hot spot.
Maybe I'll prune the mock orange hedge in the morning. Or wait until next week when temps forecasted cooler.
Hi Jenny! You mentioned that your Day Lillies help control erosion. Would you please explain how they do that. I have a sloped garden bed that I have trouble with mulch & soil washing down with extreme rain. Love all your content! You’re a great garden teacher,
Hi Jenny. I love seeing your flowers and shrubs but are there any future plans for a vegetable and herb garden area in your landscape? Or even fruit trees? Lots of love from Trinidad.
So awesome to see you wearing an Annapolis t-shirt, my state capital! Love your videos. Beautiful landscaping and the front porch is so inviting.
We so enjoyed our time in Annapolis!
Wonderful! So happy you did!
always like your garden,,, when can I visit your garden???? for now i can only see your videos
Love your hanging baskets! I tried them this spring, I put bird netting around them but the birds still built nests in them so I tried watering around the nests but still lost half the plants. Any suggestions how to keep birds from nesting in my 17” hanging baskets?
Question Ms Jenny - will your snip-n-paint trick on the runners work on wisteria? Mine is out of control, smothering everything in it’s path. As much as I love it, it’s gotta be tamed somehow.
As always, your gardens look lovely! Hey Brynna! 🐾🐾❤️
It will!
How do you keep the Japanese Beetles off your crepe myrtles?
Japanese beetles have arrived and wondered if you have to deal with them and if you do, what do you do?
Hey Jenny, what variety did you say the cedar by the porch is? I live in zone 7b also and was interested in it for our yard. It is gorgeous!
It is a Dwarf Horstmann 😊
Everything is looking great! I have an unrelated question Jenny… are y’all getting any PW Aquavita Junipers to grow and sell at the nursery? I believe they’re a new release for this season and I REALLY want one! I can’t find one anywhere. Just curious. Thanks for all the great videos!!
At this time we are not, but I am very intrigued by this tree! I would love to get my hands on a few of these 😊
Love your new tool belt! Great tip on getting rid of the suckers. I knew to cut it out but never thought of dab it with some herbicide.
Jenni which one of the holster do you have. I definitely need this?. Thanking you in advance. Great channel.
I have a link in the video description 😊
@@GardeningwithCreekside yes you do Im puzzled which one you have the Foral with scissor belt or the gardener with reinforced belt.
I want to order the one you have. Thank you
Where did you get your sun hat from? Thank you.
I ordered it from Coolibar several years ago 😊
Love your black rockers on the porch. May I askwhere you found them?
I ordered them online from Sam’s Club. They are THE BEST chairs!
Just ordered one. Thanks
Sometimes I prune in the morning when I water during the heat.
How can you tell if you have a tea olive? I THINK I may have that shrub (just given to me by a neighbor) they didn’t know the name of the plant lol so I wanna know what I have to care for it
I would take a picture of it to your local garden center and ask them.
I think I need some tea olives 😉🥰
Yes you do!!!
When i prune my shrubs i have taken the limbs and stuck on ground new moon is best time to do it they root and you have new shrubs an old lady told me to do flowers like that yrs ago i was just in my early twenties I'm 72 now
😊🐾🐾❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
🙋
Love Brynna stealing the show!
You’re printing the tea olives just because they’re in front of your house? I have a few I’ve never pruned. But they’re where I want them tall🤷🏼♀️
I planted cleome or the first time. They dont look like yours. How many plants are in there.
Watching this after I just butchered a camella. :-)
