I think Shang Chi. He is slightly better, because he was trained since his birth, and has some metahuman abilities such as chi energy manipulation and summon clones of himself.

I had a comic where he fought a temple of shaolin that was epic and he did lose but he was surrounded there was like 50 of them, brother owned a comic shop and i managed to collect all of Shang Chi Master of Kung Fu, (Lost in a flood) my fav marvel book besides Powerman and iron fist and Spidey.
the new Shang-chi stuff has so many fist of the north star reference I can tell the writers were inspired by that manga to give him some new feats this some good shit tho!

Marvel needs an animated series, starring Power Man (Luke Cage) and Iron Fist ... with Shang-Chi as a reoccurring guest star -- and I don't mean that bs with them as high school kids like in Ultimate Spider-Man.

I started reading comics in the 1970s, Thor, Dr. Strange, Hulk and The Defenders were among the first. The Defenders were treated like kind of a joke compated to other teams in comics but had members like Dr. Strange, Hulk, Namor, Silver Surfer and Valykrie who could have gone head to head with anyone from the Avengers, X-Men or even DC's Justice League. How about a video on "How Powerful Were The Original Defenders?"

Modern Defenders is mostly like a street heroes, albeit members of this team has pretty powerful abilities.

Yo dude with the movie coming out they can reintroduce iron fist like Danny/Finn Jones with the OG defenders, especially after IF season 2 ending its the perfect way to to bring him back and Shang learns how to get chi powers.

I'm trying to find out who wins between Shang and Cap. I did underestimate cap a bit but I'm wondering if Shang chi's skill is what would allow him to win against cap even if cap is stronger and has the shield.
I'd bet on Cap. One of Shang-Chi's enemies, Zaran, stated that Cap was the "greater fighter" in _Captain America Vol. 1 302._ I think Shang-Chi could beat fighters like Daredevil, Elektra and Iron Fist in pure hand-to-hand combat, but Cap is on another level. Cap is equivalent to Deathstroke in the DCU, whereas Shang-Chi's closest DCU counterpart is Richard Dragon.

IDK how familiar you are with Baki but how do you think Shang compares to Yujiro Hanma. I like this matchup because they have a lot in common, both fighters who are said to be greatest in the world. But Yujiro isn't just the world's strongest man, he's the world's strongest *creature* and like Shang he's been said to not even be human.
