Great interview, I don't care what nobody says! I love Tyler Perry's work ethnic, tenacity and perserverance! He's very unselfish which is why he's so blessed.

He's blessed I'm just not feeling his movies except for a few but he came up.

So if at any point ol' Tyles violates the one word - zero tolerance policy of corporate amerikkka......

@@brandesmoore Black folks, his main support base, though it applies to ALL ethnic groups in America, with small variance, spend approx. 80% of their disposable income with whites, 15% with arabs, asians, etc. and 5 % with black owned biz. Ol' Tyler, just like the others mentioned was created to execute a white agenda, not a black one. Cosby, Michael Jackson, Prince, Chappelle, etc. got the boot off the plantation in one way or the other. Black folks never batted an eye in terms of their support for the industries, and companies under whose watch it all occurred. Like I said, one off quote from ol' Madea, and black folks will step and turn they back & keep right on supporting whoever gives HIM/THEM the boot.

I’m mad he didn’t introduce Omari in his intro. He was talking to Tyler like he was the only guest on the show. I thought that was rude as hell. You can tell Omari felt some type of way about that just by the look on his face.

They’ll most likely either be canceled or moved to another network. If his shows are doing well though, I don’t see him just ending it due the good ratings, he’ll probably just move it to a different network. As long as he doesn’t move it to BET, b/c they fuck up everything.

Tyler Perry's a success story. I give him credit for his success and it's clear his movies are mostly for women. With the exception of Daddy's Little Girls, Madea Goes To Jail and Why Did I Get Married his movies leave men on the sidelines. I'm not tripping about that anymore because they made him millions of dollars. We just need to keep the balance of Black Film and Shows alive. It's been a long time since we've had so many diverse portrayals of Our People. From Atlanta, Black Lightning, to Blackish, Empire, Power and I For Better or Worse. I don't watch all of these shows except for Atlanta and Black Lightning but now we have options. I don't want to see us singing and selling drugs but there's still an audience for that. Omar is an underrated Actor and even though I'm passing on this movie I'll check it his other stuff. He had an interesting portrayal in Sorry To Bother You.
