Thanks for the video! Bought my first Sig 2 weeks ago, shot last weekend and was awaiting my holster… p365x Romeo zero elite, wore it in the holster for an afternoon and noticed the red dot not working. Called customer service today and they instructed me to change the battery 🤪, it’s brand new but w/e. Watched your video so I was intrigued to open er’ up. Tab was bent back harder then the other side similar to yours but not twisted. New battery for 15min now and is working fine. I will update you after I run some more rounds through it!
@@wizeman7627 did you let sig know it failed again? Or did you just dump the optic for a 407/507k? I just got mine used, put a new Duracell lithium cell battery in it, 2 weeks in using med setting circle and dot. It’s dead! I can try the second battery, I’m just wondering what I should try.
@@dadthefixerflorida The plan is exactly as you described! Dump it for a holosun! I don’t think anything is wrong with it, the battery life just sucks. FYI Sigs tech support is awesome!
I just got mine on a sig. 22... Guy at the store said it worked the battery must have went dead.. so I bought the gun I brought it home went to put the new battery in and I seen exactly what you got squiggly on one side I'm done dking with it right now
@@chickchickboom324 I put in a engergizer battery but had to use a lil tape to keep it in. Tested the shake awake - so far so good. But literally did it today
Same issues i had on mine. We have the same weird battery terminals. Mine turned on and off everytime i cock the slide and during firing. I tried to bend the terminal then sadly one side got broken. Be careful with those terminals as they are kinda brittle. Warranty of sig optics is useless for me as i am on the other side of the world. I am not gonna rely my life on this remeo zero garbage. I just ordered a holosun 507k X2 instead.
The tool to fix this issue is fairly reasonable. It part number 507k from Holosun.
I'm having the same issue. So I took the the Romeo off and discovered the same problem you mentioned.
I’m not sure if my fix is the permanent resolution but I think it does pin point the cause of the problem

Did it last with the new battery?
@@dadthefixerflorida roughly 2 weeks on a lower dot setting with no circle ⭕️.

Yea I decided to call sig to see if they have a replacement under warranty. They have a specific number to call just for their optics
Yup your right
Dude same issue ! Great vid !
Same issue with mine. I've bent it back up and was able to get a very dim light, but I was not able to get it working calling sig in the morning
I had the same issue but the left connector does not look like yours, but it did not look like the right connector. It is a smaller connector
Where you able to fix it?
@@chickchickboom324 I put in a engergizer battery but had to use a lil tape to keep it in. Tested the shake awake - so far so good. But literally did it today
Yep my left terminal looks just like yours
Thanks that worked
Cool, hopefully it keeps working when you try it out. Some people say theirs shut off again. But either way I think we are on the right track
