Haven't watched the video yet...but the body of the Romeo Zero is plastic. To mount it a torque wrench is needed. Otherwise you risk breaking the housing.
Thank you for your honesty you have a new subscriber I almost pulled the trigger and purchased a 365 compact with the Romeo on it last night now I am going to reconsider
I just bought a sig p365XL With the Romeo zero Haven’t pick it up yet but when I do I will get the holosuns 507k to go with it. Your review made my mind up. Thanks
I have been researching both optics and have been leaning toward the Holosun 407K. This review helped me make the final decision. Holosun it is - thank you!!
Well I wish i would have seen this about 7 hrs ago! Just bought the Romeo Zero! Oh well I'm glad you at least liked it. My p365 is off to the mill in the morning!
@@awesomedave8484 scratches are just something to use to sell these things. They both have anti reflective coatings on them, that coating is a thin layer of silicon nitride (most of them anyway, there’s a couple materials but that’s most common). That coating is what actually scratches and the base material really has nothing to do with how hard it is to scratch the coating. Also, be careful with what you clean them with, stay away from Walmart or sans club brand pre-moistened cleaning cloths (the little single use packets), I’m not sure if they have ammonia in them but they destroy coatings like they do. So yeah, don’t use scratching as a reason to decide, these RUclips people just repeat the bs they’re told by manufacturers. Glass just makes them heavier.
This is a very well done video. I have two pistol RMRs and two rifle mounted Holosuns. I am now convinced to buy a 407k. A friendly suggestion for production value, invest in a wireless body microphone to improve audio quality and eliminate the echo effect.
Thank you, it is a great RDS and you will love it. I do use an external mic. Unfortunately technology can fail sometimes and there isn't much we can do about it.
New sig sights come with shroud. I have one on the way. Sig is sending me replacement. Apparently there was a batch that still passed QC and somehow the develop issues with elevation adjustment
I just ordered the Sig for my Glock 48 because the Holosun 507K I ordered three weeks ago apparently won't get to me for months. The Sig was in stock so I'll use it until my Holosun gets to me. :) Great review.
Thank you so much for this review. I know I'm swapping my EDC to the sig p365 xl, I just couldn't decide if i wanted the already installed romeo or the holosun. This just made up my mind! I'll be purchasing the pistol tomm and hopefully the 407k next week.
Best comparison video out there. Thanks for helping me choose. Before watching this I was really unsure which to buy. But now it’s no question. Thanks brother. God bless.
Great review. I just picked up the 507k in green, before watching your video, and for almost all the reasons you mentioned. I spent the extra bit to have the flexibility of going dot to outer ring to a combo of the two. I did a lot of looking and really like the features you mentioned. You are spot on, the weight is negligible, the housing on Holosun is really nice, and for those of us getting older eyes, the dot really allows for easier pickup and sight to target alignment.
I hit the like button and subscribed once you said RUclips will ding for letting a dot sit on a slide. I don’t think people complain of the logo. But how bold it looks on this dot.
I’m currently trying to send my Romeo zero back to Sig because it didn’t allow me to adjust the elevation at all. Plus the lack of clicks when attempting to adjust was disappointing. Overall i was underwhelmed and will probably sell my replacement unit...... if I ever get it
Appreciate the comparison. My HS507k is waiting its turn to be put on my 365 right now. (not XL). So excited. The thing just reeks of quality. Very nice. (I have a bunch of HS on ARs too. Love the circle dot.)
I really liked the Romeo Zero but the lens got so scratched up just from shooting I sent it back for a replacement. The replacement was more of the same so I literally just sent it back today. I’m just gonna buy either the Holosun 507k or the 407k.
Just ordered the holosun 407k X2 off Amazon was 220.00 I think I got the sig p365 x macro a couple weeks ago finding it harder and harder the find the sights at 54 years old now hope this red dot works out..I have the same flags 👍🏻👍🏻
Just mounted the Romeo on my (California) P365, and I appreciate the simplicity of this sight. Simple, light, and fits like a glove. I adjusted the dot merely by looking down the sight path while at home just so I can see the dot move. Now that I have the dot's brightness adjusted and aligned to my sights I will take it to the range for the REAL test. I hope I am happy with it's performance, otherwise, I will just get something different. The two main draws for me regarding this sight was the name (Sig on a Sig!)... and the PRICE ($98.95)! Only time will tell...! 😊
Nice job. I'm a 68 yr old first time gun buyer with 2 days to go on my 8 day BCI waiting period.Unless our government comes up with some bogus reason to screw with me I will be picking up my Kimber r7 Mako and needless to say I'm pretty excited. If all goes well I think I'll be getting a Holosun 407k.You convinced me! I'll subb.
I started with the Romeo o battery lasted 3 months when i took it off i put holosun 407k x2 7 months later love it. Didn't like adjustments on the Romeo every time i smeared the lens with my finger. Holosun is just better.
Went with the Holosun 407k for my 365xl EDC. You can get the Holosun 407 around $224 but I saw that Sig is coming out with a Romeo Zero Elite which looks like the original Zero that got all the upgrades from the complaints. Interested to see how that one compares to the 407/507 Holosun.
I've had both Sig Romeos. Battery eating problem with both. I believe Holosun is a little more expensive, worth it for ease of changing battery, and it's battery life
I have a new Romeo Zero that I bought just a few months ago no more than 3 and the battery was dead already. I opened it up and it has no plastic cover over the battery and the battery was laying on the slide when I removed the Red Dot. I will be getting a Holosun as I was already a believer in their products.
Thanks for the useful information! After watching your video and several others (i.e. Sage Dynamics), I just ordered a 407k X2 in green for my P365XL. Best price I could find was $240 (delivered). For me, the 6 MOA is perfect for self defensive use, and the green seems to work better for me because of my astigmatism. I've got an RM06 (6.5 MOA) on my shotgun that has held up to several hundred rounds (including a few boxes of 3" magnums), but for the smaller P365XL, I think the 407k was the best choice. Now, I have to mount it and spend a few weeks and many rounds for training...
I’ve got the Romeo Zero on my P365XL, here’s my take. I’ve been carrying a P320cRX so the Romeo Zero feels natural to me, I prefer the arched top of the Zero over the square top of the Holosun, I think the arched top provides a better sight picture. I also think the image on the Zero is slightly better (slightly clearer lens and slightly better dot clarity). I like the way the Zero is purpose built to match the P365 series so it looks great on the gun. The Holosun is built like a tank and would survive hard use or a drop, it has double the battery life and doesn’t need to be removed to change batteries, has more adjustments and buttons to move the brightness up or down (Zero you have to cycle through). There is just not much not to like about the Holosun. So I’m keeping my Romeo Zero but if it gives me any trouble (like poor battery life), Holosun 407 will be the replacement, (I’m not a fan of the 507’s 32moa circle reticle).
I have the 365XL and love the gun. I just replaced the Zero with the 407 green dot. Massive improvement on build quality and going green. Being able to replace battery without removing the sight is another big plus. I have a 507c for my M&P Compact 9, just ordered a 507c with the ACSS green reticle for my M&P 10 and have a 510c on my AR. I think Holosun is the best value out there. I don’t need combat build quality like Eotech, Trijicon or Leopold and I’m not willing to pay for it.
Just put the 507k on my 365xl. I agree on choosing it over Trijicon. Holosun has way better features for far less money. When Trijicon was a one horse show they could demand any price they wanted but they no longer are, nor do they lead the engineering behind the red dots.
I have 2xl's an 2 years ago I paid 75 dollars to a guy trading up to holosun 407. Cheap enough to learn on but you are right plastic lense and battery on bottom. We like the 407 much better. I still have the romeo on one but when battery dies will trade up. Subbed
Say what you want about holosun they are great products. I own 2- 510c, 507c, 407c, and a 403. And soon the 407k for sure. Never had any issues with them. Highly recommend them. Great video.
Awesome review of the Holosun 407 and the Sig Romeo. Great video review and spot on concerning both MRD's. Having watched several video reviews of the Holosun MRD sights, I'm impressed with the Holosun Red dot sights. For the money you can't find a better MRD sight!! I really like the Holosun's circle dot combination as it helps us now old guys eyes. It allows you faster shots on target and follow up shots!! I'm waiting on a Holosun 507C VR2 now to be in stock at Midway. For the fans of Glock pistols, Strike Industries has an affordable slide already milled for an RMR style MRD for $200 in black. You will also need to order a firing pin channel liner or a complete upper parts kit and suppressor height night sights inorder to co-witness your sights and MRD in the lower 1/3. This option allows you to keep your original Glock slide. I'm sold on Holosun MRD's it's also affordable than the RMR. The money saved by buying the Holosun can go for money training ammo!!! Have an Awesome day and Stay Safe and watch your six. Reb out.
Great video, although I'm a little biased as I've had a Holosun 507k on backorder for weeks. Thanks for affirming I made a great choice, now I just hope Optics Planet eventually comes through....
507k W/TITANIUM CASE Green Laser is what I'm waiting for. . Have a 507TGR mounted on my ZEV// Custom Blaster built on a new Glock Gen3 frame.I want one for a P365 XL, BEST all-round carry weapon and I am a Glock fan. Have 5 of em.
Concur. Just went from a Romeo Zero on a 365XL to a 507K-X2. The Zero worked fine until the battery died about 4 months in. Bought the 507K . Couldn't find anyone with a 407K in stock. Bought it mostly because of the side battery port. Literally everything about 507K/407K is superior to the Zero. I have a Sig Romeo 4S on an AR pistol and the reticle set up has an almost identical circle dot setup. Pretty sure Holosun is the OEM for Sig RDS optics. I love the 365XL and the 507K actually does it justice. The 'Zero always felt kind of cheap. My guess is both RDS are manufactured in China. FWIW I put a Leopold DPP on my FN 509 T... so I buy American when I can. Great vid. Thanks.
I don’t have any holosun Products but I do have a P365XL with the Romeo zero already installed. I am amazed how good that red dot is. Highly recommend Romeo zero, if you’re going conceal carry with the red dot. But I’m sure that packaging is to save the customers money.
Bought the P365XL w/ romeo zero package 3 months ago. Romeo Zero did not cowitness with back up sites. Wrote to Sig customer service and was sent a new replacement Romeo zero. 2nd new Romeo also broken, would not turn off , would not adjust brightness. Wrote back to Sig, sent New Romeo back and requested Original Iron back sight assembly as i will NEVER trust the romeo zero again while on my p365 edc. No back sight assembly available but put on Sig wait list. That said. 2 weeks ago, Botach had a huge shipment of about 100 Holosun 507k for sale on ebay! Bought 2 507k for $289 each! Score, thank god for Botach. Now i'll have a red dot back on my P365XL. Botach sold out in less than 24 hours. NO, i do not recommend Romeo Zero. Also, was sent a sheet metal protective cover with Replacement Romeo Zero. Cover was blued so expect rust issues under mount. Sig answer to protect plastic body incase you drop weapon. But when installed, increased overall weight, height, width. Not worth it, go for Holosun, if you find one.
Great video I just got a hellcat pro and it’s the OSP which I think is the RMSc cut and the Holosun needs an adaptor plate to mount to my slide or grind off the bottom 2 posts. It fits the Hex Wasp, the Shield RMSc, one of the swamp fox and the tirjicon cc model!! I wanna do a 507k
Had 2 rome zero's and both had zero shifts and would adjust to the right regardless of which way you turned the screw. Sig told me to send them both in to be re centered and to not adjust the zero. I would get the holosun any day.
Yea i should have seen the review on both earlier, I bought the Romeo and did want to install it but trying to take the screw off was a pain , it is stripped now have no chance of saving it now unless I get a gunsmith but I figure I sell the sight instead or pistol
Good video. The only thing I do not like about the Holosun is the integrated rear sight. Why did they not make it more like the Sig? I'll wait until they get it right, and then may replace my Sig Romeo Zero. The Sig red dot has worked just fine for me, but I still question the reliability and ruggedness on the Rome Zero. Time will only tell. I also wonder why Holosun only has a 6 moa dot? I prefer the 2-3 moa dot. Another reason I'll keep waiting. The Holosun is almost perfect, but not quite there yet.
Sig Romeo just states "Assembled in USA". probably means thats where the stick was put on and packaged. I can promise you it wasn't manufactured in the USA. big difference.
I have both and the romeo 0 has been a nightmare. I have noticed that if you zero on a XL or longer slide it has no issues. However , if u zero on a regular p365 or Hellcat it won t zero. I love the 507k and rmsc though. I only wish the 507k had the auto brightness like the rmsc or rmr
Does the 507k and sig Romeo zero share the posts and foot print? I have a slide cut for a sig Romeo zero already but was wondering if it's possible to redrill holes for the holosun 507k
Great video Poe, I've been researching weather to go with a RMRcc or the H407k and I've about made the decision to go with the Holosun. I know the rugged dependability and indestructible construction of the RMR is hard to beat, but it's hard to pull the trigger and spend more than double on the Trijicon when you can use the money to spend on the milling that needs to be done on most handguns including my 43x. Keep up the great work I look forward to the next video brother.
***News Flash*** You DON'T have to re-zero your Sig Romeo Zero or the new Elite, the adjustments stay saved in the little microchip. Surprised this guy didn't know that. I was shocked how big the MOA dot was on the 407k I may have to get the upgraded 507k but they didn't have green, I love my 508Titanium green dot on my Springfield Elite 10mm! These Holosun's really transforms a 10mm pistol into a mini sniper and that is no exaggeration at all!!! You can put a cantelope next to a bowling ball as a hostage situation at 100 yards and I am taking out that hostage taker with a dome shot! Even know I would have other better options for that kind of situation. You can't go wrong with either one I've owned BOTH of these, I have upgraded to the 507k green dot it has more shaking but a smaller more precise dot for really putting a bullet next to bullet hole the 507 is it, but what these pistols are for is quick on target no shaking to have the dot settle, the Holosun 407k with the 6 MOA is going to be a GREAT option! For the money the Sig Romeo Zero is great....AND YES.......THE WORST PART ABOUT BUYING HOLOSUN IS THAT THEY ARE CHINA MADE AND NORMALLY I WOULDN'T THINK THE CHINESE COULD MAKE SUCH A QUALITY OPTIC. I ALSO AM ROCKING THE PRIMARY ARMS LIGHTED CHEVRON ACSS ACQUISITION BUILT IN RANGE FINDER INSIDE THE LVPO, SIDE TO SIDE THE PRIMARY ARMS HAD A MUCH BETTER, CLEARER, MORE COLORFUL, LETTING IN MORE LIGHT THEN THE $2500 OPTICS. THEY JUST HAD A BIG SALE ON THE NEW 2023, GEN III BAD BOY AND WAS ABLE TO GET THE LIFTED SCOPE RINGS AND THE LVPO PRIMARY ARMS BOTH FOR $300!!!! I'VE SEEN LIFTED SCOPE RINGS BY SIG, OR VORTEX FOR $180!!! GOTTA SAVE MONEY WHEN YA CAN NOW A DAYS BUT I ABSOLUTELY HATE SUPPORTING ANYTHING CHINA. BUT FIREARMS OPTICS CAN'T BEAT IT
Any time you remove a sight from a gun and reinstall you should re zero. You’re talking about a digital memory on a chip, not mechanical zero. I’m surprised you don’t know that.
For me personally, no because my setup is strictly for concealesd carry and self defense. Others love the different reticles for different applications. You can't go wrong with either one. They are built like little tanks and the side access to change the battery is really nice.
@@PoeOutdoors My setup is also concealed carry. I am just getting into optics and haven’t experienced a 6MOA compared to a 2MOA. I will probably stick with the 407k in that case
@@fadec6410 I would agree with you on sticking with a 6moa dot for carry. I've been shooting red-dot sights on handguns for 29 years (a lot of it in competition) and without question it's much quicker and just as accurate at distances most people are going to engage a "target" while conceal carrying. I too am purchasing the 407k for that purpose and having my glock 43x milled specifically for it.
Good unbiased video! My HS507K should be delivered tomorrow.. finally! I waited over 4 months since I preordered it. Also, I subscribed to your channel. I really like the fact that you also took the time to look through the comments and answer many viewer questions. 99 percent of the comments were mature and informative.
Thanks for the support. Thankfully most of the comments on my channel are useful. There will always be a few who try to ruin it for everyone else but we can deal with them. You will love the HS, it is a great RDS.
I own both, I'm a Sig guy, but the Holosun 407K is superior in almost every way. Word to those about to buy the Romeo Zero...you must adjust the WINDAGE FIRST, THEN THE ELEVATION! You run the risk of stripping the windage set screw if you tighten the Elevation screw first. Had to send mine back to Sig. Took weeks to get it back.
If I had read your comment a few months ago I might have saved myself some aggravation. I found that I couldn't adjust the windage on my wife's P365XL/RomeoZero combo after an elevation adjustment. Sig was great and replaced the Zero. My wife's eyesight is compromised. She had RK years ago and is developing a cataract, so the red dot flat revolutionized her shooting ability over iron sights. This past week, before discovering this vid, I switched the Zero for an HS407kx2. With the 6 MOA dot she makes 1" diameter dot targets disappear out to 20 yds. Using the Holosun 6 MOA she can't miss!
Well damn...the video you did on the Romeo Zero was having me itching for one of those, but now..I may look for the HS507K, just for that little extra above & beyond the HS407K!!! :)
Haha! The Romeo Zero is fine but the Holosun is really good. If you want more reticles the 507 is the way to go. I personally have no need for anything more than a simple dot on a defensive handgun, especially for an additional $60.
@@PoeOutdoors Couldn't find an HS407K, but DID find an HS507K, so I bought (while there was still inventory available)!!! Now to get my dadgum 365XL (FFL transfer pending arrival from dealer).
Thanks for actually being willing to state a negative opinion. major channels get stuff for free and are a lot less likely to be critical, even when warranted.
I bought the Romeo zero cuz I'm poor but thinking about getting the 407k for another gun but they are like 100 dollars more don't understand why these things are so expensive cuz they probably don't cost any where near retail price to manufacture. My Romeo zero only cost 120 bucks
Poe, your video review was outstanding. I have the 365 XL as my carry gun of choice. I have had it for several months now and love it My eyes aren't what they used to be due to advancing years (>70.) I have a question for someone to answer. 1. 6MOA vs 3MOA which one to choose? It is pretty much a moot point because neither one is available right now everywhere. Again, love your content.
Hey bro, where about are you at in Indiana? I ask because I live out in Martinsville and I've got at least a few unique items that could be pretty good subjects for videos. Plus, I enjoy basically anything involving firearms and try to find (relatively) local people with the same passion. Let me know if you'd want to get in touch and might be interested in what I've got. If not, no biggie. Just keep up the good work.
I have both on two P365XLs.. the Holosun is definitely more rugged, and prefer the 6 MOA dot, but if you compare the sight picture side by side...the Romeo Zero is much better with no distortion. Don't believe me - compare them both indoor in medium light conditions. I conclude the lower image quality of the 407 is attributed to the angle of the glass. Anyhoo...great review of these two micro sights. 👍
Some people are saying the sig sight can't maintain 0. P365 xl is the top of my list. Just questioning the reliability of it. I know some people get some duds here and there.
@@PoeOutdoors I did get the p365 xl. So far I love the gun, and I love the sight. Although I should have bought the gun and sight separately the back sights are built in to the romeo sight. Now the romeo isn't optional. Hindsight. I thought I would be able to swap them out.
Both seem about the same height when measuring the exterior but the Romeo Zero seems a little bigger when you consider the height of the glass itself at the center of the arch. Also, the thick casing of the Holosun is not as aesthetically pleasing and seems like it could be a little distracting and blends less with the environment when you quickly attempt to find your target. Has that been anyone's experience, or can you share any comments regarding these issues?
Found 407k in san antonio visiting friend for 289. Bought it because I have been looking for one. Everywhere is sold out. Almost bought all 4 because I watched 2 on ebay go for around 500.
Why do you use those? I've never heard of them and what is the difference between those and the ones that come with the holosun? I just want to get the best since its going to be on a carry gun.
Awesome review I own both and I like both but the holosun 507k is just better I already have scratches on my romeo zero and it's less than a month old. I was extremely easy on the romeo zero but still scratches way to easy
Good job, never the Romeo 0 (poor build and material), but the Romeo 1 and 1 Pro are much better. I really like Sig products; however, the 407K is everything I was looking for in a red dot at a fantastic price, material and functionality. Great review comparison PO; keep it up. I am becoming a fan.
Gosh that’s hard to say, definitely possible with a 22.

I went to Optics Planet and it was listed as "Discontinued by Manufacturer". Do you know if it was replaced by another model? I want to buy a P365XL but I don't want a plastic Romeo Zero on it.

Another great review that will take my money.
i own several holosuns and rmr's. i actually prefer the holosuns for faster acquisition. they have operated flawlessly for a few years now.
is 6 moa dot too big? i would buy 407c 2 moa or 407k 6 moa. what is your recommendation?
6 MOA is perfect for a self defense gun IMO. These dots are crystal clear.

I'll subb.
Thank you, I appreciate the support. It really is a great dot, you will love it!
I started with the Romeo o battery lasted 3 months when i took it off i put holosun 407k x2 7 months later love it. Didn't like adjustments on the Romeo every time i smeared the lens with my finger. Holosun is just better.
Romeo is 200 while the 407k is 224. Just spend the extra 24 dollars and get the 407k
I believe Holosun is a little more expensive, worth it for ease of changing battery, and it's battery life
Elite is still junk in comparison. Will never get rid of my 365 but their optics are a joke
I use a pencil with an eraser to turn on and off my Romeo Zero. I also have optional metal shroud. That being said your review is spot on
Good review and comparison, thanks!
One nice thing about my P365L was that the H407K was an easy direct replacement for the ROMEOZero optic.
Great video. Answered my questions!
Poe , I'm with you on choice the Holosun would be my first choice no doubt and also looks better on your p365xl than the sig, very informative video.
I installed a RomeoZero Elite on my P365X. After fewer than 10 rounds the emitter broke loose and the reticle was bouncing all around the window.
Just put the 507k on my 365xl. I agree on choosing it over Trijicon. Holosun has way better features for far less money. When Trijicon was a one horse show they could demand any price they wanted but they no longer are, nor do they lead the engineering behind the red dots.
I bought the holosun for my GX 4 Toro today. I may put it on the 365xl instead and move the Romeo to the Toro.
Great video.
is 6 moa dot too big? i would buy 407c 2 moa or 407k 6 moa. what is your recommendation?
It is a really solid RDS. Midway and Optics Shack had them in stock.
Have 5 of em.
great comparison. helped me decide on the holosun. thanks.
Just bought a p367XL and it came with the Romeo 0 already on it
Great vid. Thanks.
The Romeo is garbage. So many reports of it losing zero or just failing with light or heavy use.
You have convinced me on buying the Holosun.
It's a really nice mini RDS. Enjoy!
I don’t have any holosun Products but I do have a P365XL with the Romeo zero already installed. I am amazed how good that red dot is. Highly recommend Romeo zero, if you’re going conceal carry with the red dot. But I’m sure that packaging is to save the customers money.
Do you have the steel shroud
I'm new to the channel and I think you should really zoom out just a little bit more so that your backdrop doesn't have a giant rump on it
After carrying a p365xl with the Romeo zero for several months....I can not see threw the plastic glass...to scratched up...
Great review! I’m going with the Holosun!
Great video! Thanks for sharing and I appreciate your recommendation! 🍻
@@Mann.withtheplann i believe they are the same. As I hear anyway.
Keep up the great work I look forward to the next video brother.
the audio alone made me last the "thanks for watching" bad audio brother you gotta fix that.
@@PoeOutdoors trying to give you advice BROTHER, nothing but love from me, don’t get so touchie.
Thank you for the in-depth review! Very helpful
In your personal opinion is there a reason to spend the extra money on the Holosun 507k over the 407k?
Just bought a Romeo Zero because it was on sale for $89. Full MSRP, definitely would have gone with the HoloSun
That’s a great deal! I wouldn’t pass that up.
Sometimes you gotta get what you can when you can. You will love the combo.
@@PoeOutdoors Indeed!
Pete Miller where did you find a 507k at been looking for one
Thanks for actually being willing to state a negative opinion. major channels get stuff for free and are a lot less likely to be critical, even when warranted.
Great review Poe!
Thank you for your video very constructive feedback
Will the Halosun solar HE407c grx2 fit on the Sig p365x? I was looking at the description and it said its for "full size" handguns.
I’m unfamiliar with that RDS, but if the description says full size, it definitely won’t work on the 365x.
@@PoeOutdoors thanks, I went and got the 407K.... ruclips.net/video/REO0XxP7mBU/видео.htmlsi=mlmgIz70PhVfc5Qx
Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate the support.
The 6 MOA is great for a defensive handgun, I wouldn't want a 3 on the Holosun to be honest.
Thinking about having my shield 45 milled for the holosun 507k. I found one local
You will love it!
Love my holosun had 3 for years thousands of rounds not had any failures
Some people are saying the sig sight can't maintain 0. P365 xl is the top of my list. Just questioning the reliability of it. I know some people get some duds here and there.
I’ve seen the same concerns. The Holosun is a far better rds.
@@PoeOutdoors I did get the p365 xl. So far I love the gun, and I love the sight. Although I should have bought the gun and sight separately the back sights are built in to the romeo sight. Now the romeo isn't optional. Hindsight. I thought I would be able to swap them out.
You need to get the shroud for the zero. And discuss that
I sold the Zero right after this video, wasn't even close to the 407k. Plus I wouldn't buy a protective cover for an optic made for a carry gun.
No distraction for me.
Thanks for being fearless great video
Found 407k in san antonio visiting friend for 289. Bought it because I have been looking for one. Everywhere is sold out. Almost bought all 4 because I watched 2 on ebay go for around 500.
Where did you find it in sa? I have been looking for one
Damn just bought a 507k for $200 😬
Good review. I want to🎉 my replace my Romeo 0 which has been nothing but problems. Will the Holosun 407 fit in same mount as the Holosun
Yes it will, same foot print. 👍
Thanks man
Really disappointed with this Romeo 0. Was a strike out I'm my Opinion for Sig. Looks like this Holosun should be big improvement.
@PoeOutdoors Thanks man
Sig Romeo was a big disappointment
Just bought 407k on Amazon for 224 new prime shipped
I just got the new 366xl with the rear. Sight behind the optic cut. What screws did you use for the 407k? One's that came with the optic
I use Battle Werx screws on all of my dots.
Why do you use those? I've never heard of them and what is the difference between those and the ones that come with the holosun? I just want to get the best since its going to be on a carry gun.
Better materials. Holosun makes a great dot, but the screws can be weak.
Thanks to my 407k and my 365xl with the shields threaded barrel I can place 25 shots slow fire in the 10 ring at 30 feet
Spoke with employee at lgs and he told me that 80-90% of LE’s in this area are running holosun
Wow! They are great pistol optics
Poe Outdoors hi do you know if the Holosun HS407K x2 fit the Ruger Max 9 PERFECTLY without any modifications needed thank you Stan
I have no experience with that gun, sorry. You could reach out to Ruger for help.
Do you think I may have slide timing issues with a Taurus tx 22?
Thanks William
Gosh that’s hard to say, definitely possible with a 22.
I went to Optics Planet and it was listed as "Discontinued by Manufacturer". Do you know if it was replaced by another model? I want to buy a P365XL but I don't want a plastic Romeo Zero on it.
Due to a lawsuit by Trijicon it was replaced by an updated model. The only change is the configuration of the buttons.
@@PoeOutdoors Thank you.
