Thank you brah. Even my old ass found your video informative. My 19 yr old daughter is heading to Navy Bootcamp in 12 days and this gives me an idea what she will experience. I'm gonna make sure she watches this and others. Currently working on the General Orders with her, creed and chain of command. The ranks are a little hard for me as a USAF veteran but I hope she gets it! When you and other veterans get out and transitioning from military to civilian life please utilize the TAP classes offered and the VA and DOL/VETS are there to help you.
Like many before you, we were all in your shoes. You will be stressed out, nervous, and worried, but that will pass. Not only will you be going into uncharted territory into a new world known as military life but you will also experience an unforgettable ride. This experience will live with you for the rest of your lives. Along this adventure you will create incredible long-lasting friendships with some. That bond created with other shipmates will endure the test of time, simply because no family, friends, or relatives back home can relate to what you will experience along this adventure. So enjoy this unique and unforgettable experience and use the benefits that you proudly earned once you move back into civilian life, unless you make the military your career. TO ALL who are serving, served or gave the ultimate sacrifice, God Bless, THANK YOU, and we're all proud of you.
It will be hectic on the first day, but less hectic after that, as you will get use to it or hope that you get use to it. Boot camp was the worst time of my life, even harder than OCS.
RADM Couture relieved Sandin of command over a ARI as the scuttlebutt goes. Smith been replaced as MCPON as well. Important to point out for anyone wanting to study ahead. You'll have your RDC, the Ships LCPO and the Ships officer as well to memorize but recruits will find that out when they get organized into a division. The video that is on the bus never updates quick enough so try not to pay attention to it to hard. You'll have the training guide to write everything down and study.
What week do they do the first physical fitness test? My son joined Aug 11. And I heard they won't be able to call or send the package home that has their address in it. Just curious when we may hear from my son. Thanks and congrats to your new career!
The first test is the initial assessment and they take that a couple days after p days once they’re fit for full duty. But with my division we didn’t get to send mail for like the first two weeks so don’t expect anything for like at least 3 weeks.
@@hawaiibound62 it’ll most likely be sent with graduation paper, where you just confirm who all going to graduation (maybe still 4 people).
