I feel ya. Using the Juggernaut AI app is great but I find I get sucked into other distractions on my phone and sometimes end up taking too long with my workouts. Nice workout!
I don't know how Juggernaut does it, but a lot of people that do phasic structures like that don't just do a few weeks of x-by-10's and then start hitting singles with doubles for backdowns. They'll also do a few weeks of sets of 8 or 6 (or both phases) in between. That's still good volume. Probably enough time all together for most people to put on some muscle if they're eating well.
The time each workout takes with Juggarnaut AI is one of my main complaints as well. I superset most things outside of the main lift, and keep rest times to a timed 2 minutes are less depending on RPE and I'm still barely able to finish in an hour. I really wish they had a time based option that you could check, obviously knowing that your progress might be slower. One of the things that was nice about 531 was that you could bail after the main lift if you needed to cut it short, still get a workout in, but not feel like you were "off plan".
I think under an hour is a bit unrealistic if you're working up to heavier weights and want adequate volume. For me 90 min is the sweet spot with a majority of the training.
is juggernaut an app to build muscles instead of strength? I want to build muscle as a main priority, like bodybuilding style workouts. This app help or i need to look elsewhere?
Last day of the first week of the first block of the fourth lunar cycle of the fifteen year of the twenty-first century of the second millennium... Wait. What were we talking about? Oh yeah, 6x6x6... 666... You just started the apocalypse.
Do you always train in shoes? One benefit of a home gym is no dress code, no shoes required. I know you wear vivobarefoot, why not just barefoot, for most exercises?
Looked like a fun workout. You're 100% right about hypertrophy blocks making you appreciate the strength blocks more.
Good way to end the week!
BI's and Tris - Epic Friday BRO SPLIT, but if Brandon does anymore reps I'm going to enter him in the Crossfit Games
Kip ups next time.
Shoot old school hypertrophy train session is where it's at. They definitely bring up the work load capacity. Been doing them a lot as of late myself.
Good to have these now and then
Here for the one shot wonder!!!
Lot of lil clips in this one!
Really enjoy the workout/equipment analysis hybrid. It is like a tour with use examples for the pieces. Very enjoyable!
Thanks my dude!
Been following you since the 531 days. Great video! Think I'll give the app a go. Respect from the 🇬🇧
Appreciate it! Let me know if you have any questions!
Love these videos that shows your workout but also shows the equipment and functionality also.
Thanks for the feedback. Want to get back to some of the basics.

Need to put it on airplane mode maybe 😅
@@BasementBrandon There's an idea lol
Ah, Strength Blocks, the real fun time on a lifting meso!
💯
Solid work...following as always!! I'm an upper/lower kinda guy...2 on 1 off repeat...works great for old guys
Awesome! Thank you!
Man; the hansu comp bench looks so nice!
Not too shabby!
You know its a Friday when he pops up with his hat turnt to the side like Fabulous in 2004
😅
That oni barbell looks nice I like the tappered collars, the double ring markings, and an end cap like they gave a F
Def some nice finishes!
more videos like this Brandon
Thanks for the feedback. I filmed a lot of this with my iphone to make it less of a distraction
That combo rack look so sturdy! I always thought the cost on most combos was surprisingly since tend to look rickety haha
Oh 100% agree there.

I've found with this program the only time you're doing singles is at the end of the entire cycle
Lets gooo killen it man

Always always stay big 👍🏼
Just love me some redundancy
Summers here, Suns out Guns out! Get that arm pump Brandon!
WOO!
I was waiting for the Rick Flair and then I realise I think you goofed and put the intro as the outro haha
People complained it was too long but I like it so I put it at the end 😊
Love the vlog
appreciated!

That’s coming soon... It’s called power hour

[4:05] Nearly butt dialled the phone screen repair company, which would have been timely...
Didn't even feel it lol
When you have to trick a powerlifter into a deload - just tell them it's a 1-2 week hypertrophy phase ;)
😂

Here for the slider shots
Buys slider, films most of video handheld iphone.
Im on the bench right now with a trap strain 😢 it friggin sucks....
Ouch
Do you ever rate your end of weeks volume higher or lower? I remember you saying you usually don’t touch them but curious if that changed 😊
Nope, leave it as is!
@@BasementBrandon got it. My worry is that by doing that I’m not properly helping the system identify optimal MEV/MRV
@@josurke I find my MEV/MRV still updates at the end of blocks. But if you feel like something is lacking, or something is crushing you, def adjust!

It has powerbuilding as a choice, so more hypertrophy and accessories, but still based around squat/bench/deadlift. You may like the RP app.
Just out of curiosity, why don't you usually use collars on your barbell?
For bench I don't just b/c I don't find the weights shift much and if I had to bail it would keep me from getting pinned.
@BasementBrandon Ah makes sense, I actually never thought of that, good deal. Keep up the great work!

@@BasementBrandon 😆all your base...ment are belong to us
Looks like you finally said f*** it and took the lever arms off lol... then unceremoniously just tossed them on the floor.
Lol they will have a new home soon, but yes lost the bulk!
@@BasementBrandon New home elsewhere in your basement, or new home to someone else?? We need to know! :)
@@JayR0065 Someone else! I don't like to hoard equipment I don't use, so sold them to someone at about 50% of cost.
Would be cool if you got chatgpt to create a program for you Brandon. Program engineering done for you.
I have that in Chadbot!
Oh didn't know about that. Thanks man

Can’t compete barefoot.
