Can you do a video discussing similarities and differences between EvolvAI and Juggernaut since you have done both and why you would choose one over the other
There is something bizarre between the two app (someone left JuggAi to create EvolveAi, both are very similar and yet there is no official complaint so the copyrights are the property of the guy who left Jugg). i dont think Brandon will ever do a comparison because he cant take a position
But from what i know both are very very (VERY) similar. You should try the free trial and if you like JuggAi more and the additional cost makes sense to you then go for it! Personally, I think im going to go with EvolveAi simply because Jugg is too expensive, almost the double but without the features to justify it.
I've talked about this some, but as the other poster mentioned, I'm friends with both groups and both have a claim to the basic UI. Main differences past that are really whose programming style you like better. The peaks are different, Evolve uses benchmarks and has nutrition now, jugg tends to have more volume. For some of the basics of training philosophy, these and many other programs will take similar approaches. I like both and recommend both.
I appreciate the options to select and switch accessories with Evolve, as well. For the sake of condensing the time it takes per session, I love to superset accessories when I can.
The one thing I wish about Juggs is being able to add certain exercises into the catalog. Like keeping seperate tabs when I use fat gripz for deadlifts, or grip, tibia stuff.
I typically just add that to the notes section, although you could try to find an exercise in the main list you don't ever do and just sub that as a placeholder if you wanted to differentiate.
Can you not add an exercise into the list, like you can on Evolve? I’d be surprised if that were the case. For grip deviations I’d prob leave a note too, but I have added in exercises not on the list (I.e., overhead triceps extensions with my pulley) and now I can regularly select them.
What happened to the chain covers you had? To make them more quiet. Did you get rid of them. Id be really curious for a video on bands vs chains. I think i like chains for more strength, and bands for more speed goals but thats my uninformed opinion.
I'm trying to go back to heels after doing flats for the last few years. I will say the Tyrs do have more room in the toe box, but not as much as I was expecting.
Hey Brandon. I am on juggernaut Ai for a meet in October thanks for your coverage on the app. Since you have so many different weight plates do you notice a difference in the "feel" of each of the types of plates? To me certain plates feel harder to lift, idk if it's only me
They can if they're not accurate. Some cast plates can be off by a pretty wide range. Also if you're using thinner plates, like calibrated, it may feel harder to deadlift. Of if you're using bumpers you might feel more offputting whip in things like squats or bench.
Powerlifting. They hypertrophy blocks (like the one I'm in now) take a long time. It's similar to what you see on the PB side, but the exercise selection will likely vary based off the split % you picked. When I'm in the strength blocks, training ends up being about 1-1.5 hours.
That’s an interesting point you bring up about feet up bench. I have a small arch also. Do you think feet up bench isn’t that helpful for increasing your max?
So some stiffness the next day or two for sure, but with the squats it’s RPE based, so the weight shouldn’t be crushing you, which in turn should aid in not feeling as beat up.
I like them. Def more room than my Nike or Adidas shoes, but not as wide as I'd like still. For the shorts I've been wearing mostly ten thousand co shorts. They're a bit pricey but have a lifetime warranty and are nice.
Does JuggAI program any conditioning/cardio within the app? I know you're doing your peloton thing but I think it'd be cool to have the option to get some cardio recommendations from the AI in a way that considers the PL training.
So it depends, generally speaking I think RPE 6/7 is about right for most for hypertrophy. If you know your 1RM or 10RM for some of those assistance exercises, input it.
Every single day. Most training days I'll only do 5-10 min of what I'd consider light intensity as a precursor to my training. On my 3 off days I'll aim to do a 10-30 min ride depending on how I feel and what training I have the next day.
Being in a temp controlled basement has it's perks. I clean the mats maybe once every 1-2 months. Typically will spray some all purpose cleaner down all over then do a quick steam mop. I'll vacuum as needed, which is mostly from opening boxes and picking up the loose debris.

Same, get the fluff out of the way!
I like that about Juggernaut AI also-- still having quite a bit of control over exercise selection, especially with accessory work.
Yeah don't feel too bad making the changes that daddy diamond wants.
If 531 was your Booty Call of programs, Juggernaut AI is def your steady. Hopefully this will get you locked and loaded for Nationals!
Let’s hope so!

Back to mixed grip for the week. I’ll check back next week for your return to hook grip😁 lookin good Brandon!
Yeah I think that ship has sailed. When looking at stuff I want to fix, I've never had grip issues so it's low priority 😅
What happened to the chain covers you had? To make them more quiet. Did you get rid of them.

I still have them, I tend to use them on chain deadlifts since I have to drape them over the bar.
I’ve got the cheapo (still expensive lol) rogue plates. Do you think it’s worth upgrading to calibrated for home use? Or something else
I don't think it's a must do
What are your opinions of the Tyr shoes and how do they compare to other squat shoes you've used?
I'm trying to go back to heels after doing flats for the last few years. I will say the Tyrs do have more room in the toe box, but not as much as I was expecting.

Are you using the powerlifting or power building program? I found that with the powerbuilding programs my workouts were 1.5-2 hours as well.

Do you have a code or affiliate with EvolveAi?
I do but currently doesn’t give any kind of discount.
That’s an interesting point you bring up about feet up bench. I have a small arch also. Do you think feet up bench isn’t that helpful for increasing your max?
I don't think it likely has as much carry over.
Any issues with low back after deads and high bar squats? Mine is almost always super tight/sore after a similar workout.
So some stiffness the next day or two for sure, but with the squats it’s RPE based, so the weight shouldn’t be crushing you, which in turn should aid in not feeling as beat up.
Yeah good point! Once I hit late 30s everything just feels heavier 😂. Love the content.
How are you liking the TYR lifting shoes? Where did you get those shorts, I need to update mine!😎
I like them. Def more room than my Nike or Adidas shoes, but not as wide as I'd like still. For the shorts I've been wearing mostly ten thousand co shorts. They're a bit pricey but have a lifetime warranty and are nice.
[3:09] That's my new background right there.
😇

It may for the BJJ app, but haven't seen any dedicated cardio outside of the hypertrophy sets of 10+ 😅
The contrast of the plates looked really good.
Some of the nicer finishes!
The Rogue plates hopefully means USA made calibrated plates in the future.
They teased them a few months ago, basically just added calibration and colors, but no word as of late on when they'll come out.
❤❤❤
💪
First hypertrophy block seems too light.
Which is better input actual max or conservative max ?
So it depends, generally speaking I think RPE 6/7 is about right for most for hypertrophy. If you know your 1RM or 10RM for some of those assistance exercises, input it.
Curious how often are you riding the peloton? My wife just picked one up and considering adding it in to my training.
Every single day. Most training days I'll only do 5-10 min of what I'd consider light intensity as a precursor to my training. On my 3 off days I'll aim to do a 10-30 min ride depending on how I feel and what training I have the next day.
@@BasementBrandon great, thanks for the response. I will look into adding rides into my training days.
Yes !
Woo!
It’s impressive you are able to knock all that out in 90 minutes
Just finished the video - 110 min makes sense!
I try to cap it in most cases if I'm getting way over 90 but depending on my work schedule sometimes I can have some longer sessions.
Hell yeah lift that weight! 💪🏻
Tryin!
With you on super setting accessories. Plus it’s a way to cheat in a little bit of cardio 😅
💯
What's the song playing throughout the video?
It's a loop called Extreme Racing Rock
What do you use, how long, and how many times a week do you clean this glorious home gym, man? Asking the real questions here. :D

What shoes are you wearing? Thanks!
These are Tolos for deadlift and Tyr for squats
That hook grip looking good.. lol
😇

That looked like a ton of volume.
Only going to increase the next few weeks 😅

It's an Arri look

@@BasementBrandon it’s been a dream. Thank you for posting and the other commenters who weren’t as prompt 👍🏽
You always want to make things as hard as possible 🫡😂
