Yes it varies from one person to another! Some people only care about the competitive aspect so 1080p is normal, while the 1440p looks way clearer and visually is the better monitor. I agree!
It was hard to decide between the ASUS ROG Swift Pro PG248QP 540hz TN with 1080p and ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQN 360hz IPS with 1440p...but hopefully I made the right decision going with the PG27AQN, any thoughts on that? Great review, thank you.
Hey man, personally I think 360hz ips with 1440p is a great decision. At that point of 540hz I cant say with guarantee that it would help anyone in a competitive edge. 360hz is already 200+ more than the average gamer so I think you went and did yourself a good decision. Additionally, the asus was or might be still on sale!
Lowest input lag is alienware 25inch 500hz only 15 ms asus rog strix 540hz 19 ms.. so motion clarity is better with tn But oled is winner 480hz lowest input lag and best motion clarity it beats every 700hz tn panel.
Yes that is correct, in the video I stated that both offer high refresh rates and the main point of the video is the technology that removes motion blur; "Dyac+" and "ULMB 2" :)
@@shikus0 Asus pg27aqn + ulmb2 is way better than zowie xl2466k because of higher resolution on 1080p display medium to long range targets look too blurry and small you can't see anything
@@Decki777 I agree! However if you own an AMD graphics card, you cannot make use of the ULMB2 tech. By miles I still believe the ULMB2 is better if you can run it properly at 360hz constantly. However if you cannot, it simply isn't worth the money and your best bet is to go with the zowie if you're using an AMD GPU.
@@shikus0 you are right Asus pg27aqn requires Top of the line Nvidia GPU like rtx 4090 . The unique thing about pg27aqn is dual driver technology which is why it has under 1.5ms response time no other LCD monitors have Dual driver technology in my opinion LCD display must use dual driver technology to compete with OLED because OLED display doesn't have crosstalk like LCD with ulmb2 or Dyac
@@shikus0 Someone found that you can use ULMB2 on AMD graphics card by using CRU. Currently using ULMB2 with a 7900xtx right now. Also any thoughts on ULMB2 on/off when playing valorant?
dyac+ has sync and ulmb 2 does not have. This is only scratching the surface. ulmb 2 = dyac 2 and dyac+ would be nice to be tested with unstable fps like in COD Warzone. And show how ulmb 2 behaves with frame drops. Here lies the real difference
Open to constructive criticism, what can I add to be in depth? It was primarily catered for "fps" gamers or buyers. I did skip over a majority of tiny and minute details that don't entirely matter to people who play fps anyways
AMD user here 7800X3D and RX 7800XT, I will stick with the ZOWIE XL2566K. I play CSGO, Valorant and Overwatch 2, the Zowie is an abolute beast.
Same specs bro! I'm considering the zowie but mostly playing apex legends. So far the monitor is good for fast paced fps?
@@jungeenibale4228 yes, these monitors are excellent at FPS shooters because of how well they mask motion blur or even remove it entirely.
I have had both. 1080p tn panel is just so awful to play on and look at. PG27AQN is a beast, I'm glad I returned the the XL2566k

@heybushy " PG27AQN is a beast" no shit, for that money it should be aiming by it self.

omg just bought the monitor and its so awesome thank you so much I'm getting radiant tonight

360hz is more than enough the most important thing is motion blur.

I own the PG27AQN paired with a 13900K and Asus 4090 OC = End Game... For now
well the AQN and the Zowie have a 800€ price difference lol, the choice is easy imo
Definitely, the price difference is quite huge.. again only if you have the wallet for it 😢
