Actually, I think Messi was already a better dribbler than Ronaldinho in the 00s and is still the best dribbler in the 20s, but I realize then half of the video would be Messi only 😄and you are looking for diversity, to show more players.

Agreed Neymar been good but not consistently and in france is on easy mode for him.
Messi has longevity. CR9 is a better. At 21 he had 150 goals. CR7 40. Messi 20. Even with a knee injury! He played against better defense. Worse pitches. Less aerodynamic ball. Was faster, stronger and more skilled. If CR9 played with Iniesta and Xavi, 50+ goals a season. Messi is a great! One 9f the best ever. CR9 is a different level. People today just agree with whatever everyone else is saying.

Maldini,Nesta,Cannavaro who started thier career in late 80s or early 90s was doing it with so ease in modern era. With brutal tackles things are easy and they don't need that strategy. Attacking and defensive strategy changed when football became attacking friendly. What R9 or Baggio would do in this attacking friendly era would be unthinkable

E comunque anche in assoluto ci sarebbe molto da discutere sul migliore di sempre, Pelé giocava in campi di patate con palloni ancora con la cucitura, e fino al 1966 non esistevano i cartellini gialli pertanto si poteva picchiare sistematicamente evitando soltanto i falli da espulsione diretta.
P.s. in quella serie a Platini che giocava ancora più arretrato di Maradona riuscì a essere tre volte il capocannoniere del campionato pur facendo il regista.
Zico in una sola stagione completa in serie a segnò (19 reti in 24 presenze)più di quanto Maradona sia mai riuscito a fare avendo a disposizione 7 campionati.
È anche Zico non era una punta.
Dunque Maradona è sicuramente stato un fenomeno di fuoriclasse, ma mi sembra che venga esaltato oltremodo.

Garrincha was super one dimensional. Ive never seen him go on a run that actually displays top level ball control and touch.he would begin stationary, dance in one spot for two minutes, then just accelerate. Pele or George Best woulve been way better choices for the 60s.

There are several videos of Pele going through 4, 5 defenders and scoring, escaping from impossible situations, Garrincha seems more like a skilled player, but even in this video, he hardly dribble 2 players consecutively.

From a Brazilian here: Pelé was BY FAR a better dribbler than Garrincha. He started doing his magic in the late 50s, and his peak was during the 60s, so it couldn’t be anyone else. We had (and have) so many dribblers out there, but what distinguishes the good from the best is how objective they are. Pelé used to dribble towards the goal (and scored in many cases after leaving defenders behind), just like Cruyff, Maradona, Zico (not mentioned), Ronaldo, and Messi did. Ronaldinho and Neymar had many moments of brilliance, but not on par with the formers as, again, their tricks were not so goal-minded as the formers. Cristiano Ronaldo belongs to the goal scorer club, probably as the top 1, but definitely not a member of this one here, sorry to say.

I would argue that because Neymar has had 1 and 1/2 years off in the past 4 1/2 years due to injury, he's not the best dribbler of the 2020's, but tbf every time he plays, his dribbling is unreal. The only players I can think that come close to Neymar in the 2020's in terms of dribbling are Mbappe, Vini Jr, and Messi
Top 3 dribblers in 2010s would be Messi the 1st, Robben the 2nd and Hazard the 3rd.
For all times:
1,Messi: 10 out of 10.
2,Maradona: Stronger than Messi but slower. They are equally good but maradona has shorter carrer.
3,R9: Faster than two GOATs but a little less accurate, very close.
4,Cruyff: A lesser version of R9.
5,Zico: More skillful than Cruyff but less strong and slower, very close.
6,M.Laudrup: A lesser version of Cruyff.
7,Ronaldinho: Well balanced. The reason I put him here is R10 is more of a winger and Laudrup is more of a AMC, dribbling on the flank is easier than in the center.
8,Baggio: Skillful but not very strong and fast.
9,Romario: Skillful but lazy.
10,Best: Almost as good as Romario, it's on the edge.
The 10th place can either be Robben(Speed), Neymar(Balance) or Iniesta(Skill), up to your taste.
Players like Stefano, Puskas, Garrincha and Pele are too old to be fairly judeged.
Players with awesome skill like Zidane and Riquelme are too slow to make the list.
The most important thing of dribbling is not how fancy moves you do but how many defenders you beat, how long you drive the ball forward and how many seconds it costs you, especially in TIGHT space. Players like Okocha or CR7 are far away from REAL dribble master, they need more space and time to do their trick and they beat defenders only 1 on 1 for the most part.
