I don’t recommend braided hairstyles or locks. You will mostly pull hood chicks which is a small niche of women. Pulling non black women will be difficult and you will have to try much harder. Even black women who are more professional or sophisticated will not be interested. On a dating show the only guy w locks that got picked was a NFL player.
Braids and locs are definitely more niche but I don't think having locs will automatically turn girls off. It's gonna be more about how you dress and act.
I do not line up my hair from the front because i have a huge forehead i just line it from the sides , i am now growing my hair on top so it can cover my forhead , but when every i try to make it curly it goes back to its original position and i look like i am the ugliest guy ever , any advice 😭!??

You start by detangling the tips and work your way to the roots. Before using a comb you can start with your fingers and then use a wide tooth comb and then work your way down by using combs with smaller spaces in between (narrower teeth). Aslo detangle with conditioner in your hair, it makes it easier
