Enjoying your Hondas lately aye bro. Love the Honda content 👌
Always man, very fun and rewarding cars
Hey mate, ground the handbrake wire on the head unit and you can then mirror the phone.
Ahh yes good thinking
She is looking fit
Pretty wild huh
the ole Arctic Blue Pearl colour of my CL9 also : )
Hard to see on camera this is like a metallic candy blue, it’s a great colour thanks for watching
Almost 20k subz 😮
Nearly there man thank you
fast car!
Racecar
Looks sick ! 😮
Thanks halfway through the make over
turned out perfect considering how fked the paint was. I think it'll stick, but considering how it was when peeling off the leftover wrap and having it break into tiny pieces, id say it's going to be harder to get off than it was to get on hahaha.
Thanks again for your help mate
@@TURBOTRISTO Anytime man. Keen to see it once it's completed with the bumper
G'day mate 👌
Hey mate how ya goin?
Bro i need d16y8 ngk authentic spark wires, does your store have it or if not can you kindly suggest any aussie online store?
My question is why do you think you need genuine ngk plug leads? I can get new Bosch ones for you
@@TURBOTRISTO brother since honda recommends them too and majority of the hondas have them oem, however since you're experienced and bosch it self is a german reknown name,i can go for them, just assure whether they are compatible with the ngk iridium zfr5fix sitting on my d16y8 head, thanks.
Plus is the msd 6a coupled with there blaster 2 is gd thing to go for my d16y8,is it worth the dollar on my bolt on?would it help in performance, throttle response and how much of whp gains from it?
@@TURBOTRISTOso may i have the link for the bosch d16 wires ?
Bosch leads brother, any update over them?
What car the J series throttle body comes off of, or what's the part number,,,,would it work with my Honda RBC k24a intake manifold?...
j30 j32 j35 j37 all work
well you got a sub and likes from me just coz u r working on my fav car and engine the accord and the k fucking series
Thank you legend!!!
Hey Tristan can we get some sort of wrap up post in writing for, with the complete list of things done for this build! Maybe even links!
i usually list parts in the videos and in the descriptions, most of the parts used on this build can be purchased from my store spoolup.com.au/
G’day Tristan, got a quick question about the eBay manifold you used to use on Rhonda, when you ran that adapter plate was that the stock cl9 throttle body? Got the manifold and ported it all for boost applications and want to stick with the cl9 tb for now
The cl9 throttle body pattern is different there is a skunk 2 adaptor plate you can buy from elusive racing, that eBay manifold is great for boost but not so good for an NA application
Gday Tristan i have two civics both pretty interesting cars id like to start working on wouldnt mind your help with budget builds for both of them let me know if u might be keen for some content
Sure tell me about them
@@TURBOTRISTO ok well there both black, one is a ej6 coupe d16y7 that was imported to Australia from England made in the USA, i feel id like to keep this one as more of a sleeper with tasteful mods and a respray the other one is a ek 2000 hatch d16y8 that i would like to turn into zero fks given beast cut it make it 4x4 i don't care as long as it's a brute villain
hahaha sounds good to me
Drive the vl!
If I do it’s just cruising I can show because everything else will bring heat
Is Rhonda going to Winton for Honda Nats?
Sure is
Do you have the link for the air intake?
I made it, the parts are all available on spoolup.com.au
spoolup.com.au/products/product-42?_pos=4&_sid=6aa952b40&_ss=r
spoolup.com.au/products/raceworks-2-5-3-inch-black-silicone-reducer?_pos=4&_sid=f917ff399&_ss=r
Wait a minute-did you say 150 kw ? With all those mods only 150 kw ? My 2011 accord euro stock from the factory put out 147 kw with no mods at all. I don’t understand,is that a stock engine in the Honda ? I just had my k-24z3 rebuilt and she’s good for 500 hp but I’m not boosting it as it’s a daily driver so it’s currently @ 300 hp which honestly is enough, any more and I’d be having traction control issues on these shit roads around where I live in country Queensland.
It makes 150kw at the wheels factory stock they make 115kw at the wheels the 147 you are saying is in the brochure for flywheel kw, there is no daily driver 300hp n/a k24s on earth, my turbo stock k24a makes 400hp at the wheels check out the videos man, I work with heaps of these cars, the top methanol n/a k24 drag Hondas with no vtec and quad throttles and 14:1 compression make 300hp with some nitrous
