Rheni's book 'Acrylic Mediums' is indeed IMHO the best book on acrylic. So great to find this interview. Tri Art is a wonderful paint and Art Noise, the company store is wonderful. Wish it was closer.
Hard to believe that only a few comments have been offered. There was a time about four years ago when I experimented with making acrylic skins (acrylic on glass, then peeled off), with the idea of using them to cut out interesting parts and join them into a composition ( which didn't work, by the way). What surprised me was how different those acrylic skins ended up after a year in my storage unit. I was surprised that one brand of acrylic shattered into thin flakes, while another stayed thick enough and flexible enough regardless of temperature extremes, and time. I invite everyone to perform their own experiment. I don't want to be sued, so I won't state the name of the worse offender.
I took 2 days to read the book. Very very helpful source to refer back to.

Thanks so much for your insight and thoughtful comment. I agree, testing is everything.
