Working as a Target cashier I can confirm this is hilariously more accurate than you'd think. On my first week, my boss would occasionally joke how "the bullseye should be called a hawkeye," which I didn't really follow until I remember seeing one of my female coworkers share a rather intimate moment with a customer at the outdoor equipment aisle. The lady needed help because she needed to grab something off the top shelf, but I saw how they both looked at each other and I knew she had no intention of getting anything off the shelves. They pressed their palms up against each other, and I distinctly remember seeing the Target bullseye above their heads. There were no security cameras pointed at the outdoor equipment aisle, but the next shift I heard she got fired and I never heard from her again. Target knows.
i got my mom fired from target when i was 10 because my parents had just divorced and she'd been working over the christmas holiday to make some money to make sure that she and i could have a good christmas my dad took me to target to go grocery shopping and i got SUPER excited and giddy seeing my mom work because i hadn't seen her in a couple months due to her shifts (she'd been working 8 am - 2 am across multiple stores), i ran behind the counter and gave her a hug none of the other cashiers cared and neither did the shift leader but the manager saw that through the camera and didn't like that target hates lesbians and hates working parents apparently
