I love the video only issue is how loud the music is if it was just slightly lower I’d give this video 5 stars for now it’s 4/5. First video watching from yours love that you put work in to showering the whole process and going into details on the nitty gritty stuff. Thank you I’m super appreciative an am learning a lot.

Brilliant video thanks, loved the advice on changing the temp switch, I'm a bit concerned about getting an air lock but going ahead this afternoon. One minor niggle the music is too loud. But great video and tips. Thanks

Fantastic video. Thanks for clearly documenting the steps. In the states we need to take-in our cars to a "Smog Check" shop and get a certification (once every two years) before we can register the car every year. My 2006 MX5 is showing a thermostat code and didn't pass certification. But I am not noticing any high or low temp on the dashboard gage when I drive it. I am going to clear the code from the OBDII module for now to get it pass the certification. But if I do get the temp reading you mentioned in your video, now I know how to fix it. Thanks.

Great video, but the music is annoying and even causes me to rewind a lot to hear what you said.

    You mentioned the "VVT"
I'm 99% sure the NC 1.8 doesn't have VVT. That was something that the NB 1.8 had, making it more powerful than a 1.8 NC by approximately 20bhp.
But the NB had a timing belt. Where as the NC has a virtually maintenance free timing chain.
I'd rather have an NC for that reason alone 🙂

The music is very interruptive and some of the sequences you do in superfast motion could be slowed down, but I appreciate your effort

The vvt should indeed be working again, if u had itbin the first place, this is the 1.8 without 😂

It’s a great upgrade, for sure! You should give it a try. If I can do it, anyone can! Happy driving

The music is so interruptive that it almost renders the video irrelevant unfortunately. But thank you for trying and maybe cut the guitar riffs and just stick to the mechanics because we’re interested. We don’t need a rock concert in the background.
