I got the M2C motor mount and chassis support. Mine had a super small crack in it and I think it should help chassis from cracking (at least in the center).
Ive got this on mine, no issues since fitting. I went through 3 of the old BLX mounts in 5 months (sh!t driver), not a single issue since fitting this new one (311106 part number). Also I swapped out the yokes to aluminium ones front and rear and haven't stripped the plastic diffs either, well worthy upgrade! (I run max punch) ❤❤❤
Yup. I did the same thing about a year ago when I did the slipper eliminator, with the traxxas spur gear. It made a huge difference. Also taking the center diff module from the 4s line. That’s a solid ass upgrade. Give it a shot u, won’t regret.
Yo dude, love your videos man. If you look in the instructions that come with the vehicle, certainly for the outcast 4s V2. ARRMA say to set the mesh on the motor plate first away from the plastic module housing. Worked a dream form me installing a 15 t pinion, mesh is dreamy atm haha 👍
yes arrma changed that plate with the release of the v2 4s cars you can easily see the difference where the extra grove for you to set the pinion grub screw the one you removed doesnt have it so it the old style if you have your owners manual exploded view that part number is different then if you now go on website and look at exploded view its a new number.... running change that wasnt mentioned
@@rcguygarage well you can clearly see it in your video so maybe your not understanding what i mean and i cant post screen shots of your video here but you definitely have 2 different mounts in your hands in this video
@@rcguygarage yeah plastic isnt different just the metal plate that slot is the sign its the new one.... that slot is their to set the grub screw install motor on plate drop in slipper set your mesh pull slipper out install motor and plate back into plastic drop slipper back in and close it up.... ive got plenty of videos on it thats`the`easiest way ive found to properly set mesh works great....
Yeah Guy, you set the pinion height BEFORE you put the plastic case on. No slot in the plastic case because it would be another pathway for dirt to get in IMO. It is a pain, but I had no other option because I don't have those nice ball end hex tools
That internet needs to be careful if it costs us to many Sunday morning live im gonna crawl in those wires and teach it a thing or two!!! Love seeing the og bigrock again !
Hope your internet issues get resolved soon. That can be a real pain, like not having water. The place I live in now, they shut the pipes off a lot to do work and it's super annoying. Well, to be fair.. the Big Rock took some serious hits to do that. She'll be full triggah in no time!
Bro. Good afternoon. I watch your videos. I kindly advise that you just get the M2C racing motor mount and chassis brace. All of my extreme bashing issues with mesh/bent motor mount STOPPED after installing that beautifully designed motor mount/chassis brace. I even installed the heavier Spektrum 2050kv motor and running the 150 amp esc on my Big Rock 3s. We are supposed to help each other and this is my contribution to you sir. Good luck!
I am working on my 3s Typhon motor mount. I got the hot racing mount. What are your thoughts on the space between the motor and chassis? Should you place something there so the motor can't bend down? If you did put something there, would a chassis flex push against the motor now and bend it up? I suppose a chassis brace could fix that.
What may happen is if whatever mount you place at the end of the motor can is rigid it can break the chassis. If you use something flexible you have to keep in mind whatever flexible material you use will concentrate heat in that area.
@@rcguygarage it's probably best to just leave the space then. I'm looking at that aluminum m2c chassis brace that mounts underneath. Arrma also makes a composite one that is 3 pieces, have you ever used any of them?
I've been dependent on cell service for Internet for so long and now 5G on my phone and tablet it's even faster then home services available to me. Wishing this cement like snow would be gone. It's really hard to get out bashing 😂

I really like the way you set your mesh on the gear . Less chance to over or under adjust . Thanks !
