About the end: there was a watch that shouldn't have been shown publicly - it was a good one! - so a quick iPhone edit to the raw file removed the end. I hope to share that watch once I get permission from the sales team. Best, Tim
6:58 Not post 2018, just starting with Baselworld 2018 (I know what you meant, but just in case others don't)...and not for all watches produced in 2018 (or later); only for those watches that received an upgrade to their movement in 2017 or later (and were produced in 2018 or later). So, the watches that received a new movement in 2017 didn't get the crown until 2018. For example, the Sea-Dweller 43mm was launched at Baselworld 2017, with the same new 3235 movement that it is produced with to this very day, but it had no crown between "Swiss Made" during that first production year. The following year (2018) it received the crown. I'm not sure if Rolex planned it this way but, regardless, the nice effect is that you can identify those SD43s that were actually produced in the 50th production year because they are the only ones that didn't have the crown. I know this well, because I'm fortunate enough to own a Mk1 SD43. I was asking for one from my dealer and I asked him to hurry up because I knew they made the change and I wanted to get one that was already produced without the crown. I was lucky and got it just in time. Marc Goldberg got one a few months later, with the Mk2 dial, and I have given him plenty of friendly crap about it and teased him about how it's not a true 50th anniversary watch. He won't admit it, but I know it bothers him. Perhaps he has sold it by now and perhaps that was at least a subconscious reason. ;) As for mine, I wear it all of the time and I will never sell it.
The ice Blue Rolex. I am considering buying. I like a heavy watch, the uniqueness of this watch. Tim, any thoughts as I am buying it second hand at a below market price?
10:35 For once the great Tim is incorrect. I own steel Daytonas and precious metal Daytonas and they are slightly different physically. Slightly different curvature and slightly different lugs. I think the reason they do that is so you can't change out the bracelets.
Start with a "new moon" (i.e., no moon). Then look up the current age of the moon in days, and push the adjustment trigger on the case that number of times. Now it's set. Best, Tim
This selection for "wake up" is unparalleled. Hope to see the oopsie soon. It is Remembrance Day here in Canada,Veteran's Day for you and your countrymen, so thanks for your service and all others that did likewise. Much respect.

I love that aventurine dial Moser but they oversimplified the moon phase and it ruins the whole thing for me. Should be at least a little detail on the moonphase. But that yellow gold wins the morning for me.
I must be shallow. I just don't like the Moser Company logo. It's kinda curly, and not in a good way for my taste. And the ones without the logo look suspiciously like a Movado. Sure that's not the case, seen in the metal. I like the sprinkling of cheaper pieces. Makes it feel like a game I could join one day.
You see more of them because they're making more steel watches these days. Titanium, too. Most of the older Mosers were precious metal from 2006-2015. Best, Tim

Gosh now we really want to see it 😄
Man, the end was so abrupt, I'm shocked. lol. Hope it's a special one Tim, not another Rolex, PP or FPJ.
I saw the video 5 minutes after it was uploaded and I can't remember what the last one was. Needed more coffee!

I’m guessing about a million dollars in pieces. Very Beautiful!
Happy Veterans Day, Tim! Thank you for your service!
Thank you, Brian. This means a lot to me.

Tim

Thanks for watching!
The gold Sub on a strap was my favorite today.
Those Moser watches are in a league of their own , superb pieces .
Nonpareil.

Waking up to wonderful Moser dials! Trio treat! That Daytona is my favorite variant ... ice blue chocolate love! Stay safe Tim! #timmossosunglasses
Thank you for watching, Clarence! We have more Moser, Journe, and Gronefeld coming this weekend.
Best,
Tim
Never was a fan of Vacheron. But that dual time is gorgeous!
I thought that was what the Yacht Master was supposed to be. But that specific Sub does look fantastic in that configuration.

As always, plenty of stunners.
I have a Gronefeld Principia lined up for the Saturday show!

To me....VC Oversea & H.Moser steals the show.
Just curiosity...are you wearing a facemask in the dialog ?
Thank you Moser for omitting the date window:! Is it me or does could FP journe work on their AR coating? Compared to the ALS, its sheit:::
Beautiful selection. 🤩. - King Lux 🤴🏾🤳🏾
Q: about the perpetual moon... if it is wound and needs resetting....how do you know the correct setting?
Start with a "new moon" (i.e., no moon). Then look up the current age of the moon in days, and push the adjustment trigger on the case that number of times. Now it's set.

Love the Octo 👍

Thank you for this thoughtful sentiment. I really appreciate it.

Moser is becoming one of my favorites
They are doing some amazing things! Thanks for watching!
Can you leave the cosmograph running all the time Tim many thanks
Minimalist/concept dials remind me of Bulova/Oleg Cassini watches LOL
H. Moser is amazing
Feeling some love for the Bvlgari, and I think I want an Amvox. But depending on your next show Tim, I could change my mind
Did the editor cut the video at the end?

This might be a noob question, but what happens with a perpetual calendar/moonphase if you forget to wind it?
It stops.
Best,
Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews Hahahah oke, so then its not perpetual anymore? :p
Noo just kidding, still like it.

Sixty eight.... Why???! ..... We're so close to perfection!
I love that aventurine dial Moser but they oversimplified the moon phase and it ruins the whole thing for me. Should be at least a little detail on the moonphase. But that yellow gold wins the morning for me.
Agree a small aventurine dial would be great
Oh yes it does!
Price on the steel Octo, please??
Please email tmosso@thewatchbox.com for pricing and additional information. Thanks for watching!

I guess the no-logo "concept" dial is the choice for you.

H Moser seems to be flooding the market in the last year or two.

I can't believe F.P. let that watch leave Geneva with those "squished" numerals
Sorry, Moser just don't trill me.
Why the hand written note in the beginning??
Mostly because people are more likely to remember that than a slick graphic.
Best,
Tim
Tim, why don't you go ahead and take that Ressence off the table?
To big on your wrist! The Moser Pioneer....A clown watch! At almost 43mm. No thanks
Tim its hard to hear you ..You sound muffled ...
