What annual holidays do SDAs observe?
Hi, @58degreewedge61, there is not a list of official holidays that Adventists observe/don't observe. Members are left to make those decisions as the Holy Spirit guides them. However, from a biblical perspective, it would be expected that they should observe the weekly Sabbath from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. This is something that God instituted back at Creation and the blessings of this weekly day of rest can and should be enjoyed today as well.
None..seventh day adventists have the most holidays of all religion.....we have a weekly holiday or... holy day. 🙂
Only holiday is the Sabbath of the Lord, that we rest from our work.and rest with the Lord go to the temple that is church and worship him in spirit and truth.
Yes there were verses reoved even our Lords prayer from a bible...it was literaly left out so yes they electronically stalk before bibles are printed

This Bible verse says that both Ananias' wife tempt the "Spirit of God". The spirit of God is not another god, it is His life. Just like humans, our spirit is our life, not another person / being. Please don't add something that is not in the Bible.
1 John 5:7 - is not originally in the Bible and should not be used to support trinity.

The Bible speaks of the Holy Spirit as exactly what He is. God.
Because we do not understand the complexities of God doesn't mean we throw it out or negate Him.

The individual is not 1 part spirit and 1 part flesh or a spirit living in a vessel of flesh but the combination of the breath and the body creates the living soul.
The Bible speaks of many spirits. A spirit of joy meaning an emotion, a familiar spirit meaning fallen angel or demon, a spirit of anger etc. But when speaking of men the spirit that is in man is that intangible thing that only God can put His finger on.
We think because oxygen and nutrients fire up neurons that interpret data input and output otherwise called thought and expression....and we move because of the same reason and have our being and interact with our environment and other individual souls because we exist and live.
When the breath ceases we become a dead soul.
The belief that there is a disembodied entity that floats around is pagan in its origin and comes to us from the first great lie told to mankind.

When my son graduated, he hung around people who drank and did drugs.....after 8 yrs, he died last march at the age of 28. He walked into the ER on Sabbath, was dead on monday.....alcohol killed him

This is stupid thinking. ADONAI does not contain the word 'can't or won't'.....we don't make the rules FOR Him. He can speak through a donkey, bring water from a rock, turn back time, and can have MANY other non-canonical books into bein as inspired. People continue to rely on their OWN understanding and set limitations on the Most-High. How about you stop talking and analyzing things so great and just live it. Ameen.
