I did everything listed in the video the exact same way, but when i play my track, it will play it for a second then mutes, i notice along the side of the track after i do all the stuff in the video and click play once, it pops up “auto muted” how do i fix that?
Auto mute happens if your volume exceeds a rather insane level in order to help protect your hearing. This one is hard to diagnose without seeing your project. You able to hop on Discord and maybe post some screenshots? Wondering if you have some automation, routing, or FX that are contributing to the issue.
Hello, in the recording I made in Reaper, there is no fullness in the sound, it seems like the bass is weak, I get a weak output when I compare it with any song, for example, the guitars are very weak, I am not talking about stereo, the sound is good, but it is obvious that the tone is not as bassy, what should I do about this?
I'm not sure I understand. REAPER in and of itself does not have a "sound" and doesn't affect the sound unless you do something to manipulate the recording. In other words, it will faithfully reproduce whatever was recorded exactly "as is" unless you out have used EQ, compression, panning, Volume, etc (could have just said mixing) to change the sound. So REAPER doesn't really affect the tone of a recording without effects and such. Are you able to better explain, or perhaps hop on discord for a deeper discussion with some examples?
One more thing, you said "when I compare it to any other song." If you are comparing a recording you just made to a commercial mix that has been professionally mixed and mastered, of course your fresh recording won't sound as strong, bold, etc, because it hasn't been mixed yet, or is not mixed to the same standard as the commercial mix. Forgive me if I misunderstood what you are asking, but a recording of a source, whether it be in REAPER, ProTools, Studio One, Audacity, whatever, will sound exactly like what you recorded, of course viewed through the lens of the microphone
@@ozanmegane4456 I can't definitively say that without a better understanding of the situation you're trying to describe. If you have literally just recorded a guitar and compared that recording to a commercial mix, then the answer is yes. Again, I invite you to join us in Discord for a deeper discussion so we can make sure your question is fully understood. You can also share a sound sample on Discord and we can give much better feedback, advice, ect, when we can see and hear what's going on
bro i have issue with reaper, after export a song with it i hear a crackling sound At the beginning of the song when I play it. but everything else fine... can you help me?
Might have to see the project in question, but I suspect a plugin is the culprit. You might turn adding a little bit of blank space before and after the song and also adding a gate on the master. Do you hear the sound when playing it back in reaper, it only after exporting? If you're not on my Discord server, you may consider joining, it'll be easier to assist on something like this with screenshots and sound examples
@@D8i i've had similar issues in the past and usually was able to track it down to a specific plugin, then either replace the plugin, figure out what about the plugin is causing the issue, or adding a gate or some space. If i recall, it may be an issue of a plugin "buffer" or cache, of sorts. Can happen with reverb accidentally wrapping a tail from the end back to the front of the song. But yeah, let's discuss on Discord if you are able, we have some very knowledgeable folks on there who can help get this figured out discord.gg/TqBwsaJdWp
