Cop 3 was a good film. I enjoyed the love interest played by T. Randle. Also loved Murphys fighting which is definitely missing in part 4.
Eddie said he wasn't trying to do a lot of movement lol.

I rewatched Beverly Hills Cop 3 the day after I watched Axel F and I genuinely think it's better than Axel F. Admittedly, I'm a little biased because 3 was the one I watched the most as a kid and it's always been my favorite in the series, but it still holds up today. In fact, I feel like it's the only one that shows Eddie Murphy as a credible action hero; Cop 3 has the most action in the franchise, the most fights, and the set-piece where he saves the two kids from the collapsing theme park ride is some of the best stunt work in the series. Sure, there wasn't a lot of humor there but that's mainly because Eddie wanted Axel to evolve as a character and, given the fact that he watched his boss get gunned down in cold blood, I completely understand the tonal shift. The hate that Beverly Hills Cop 3 still gets in unwarranted imho.
It was the first bhc I saw as well. The hate is definitely undeserved.
