I don't care what anyone says, I loved this movie growing up and it still holds up today when I rewatch it. Axel Foley 2024...
Cop 3 was funny and had plenty of action. Harlem Nights, Distinguished Gentleman and Norbit we're all financially successful films. Metro was a funny action film and it was underrated. Cop 3 was financially successful and it earned over $100 million dollars on a $50 million dollar budget.
Remember when John Landis got Vic Morrow and those two kids killed? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Remember when, 12 Stupid Jurors, let him get away, with, it, and, he, was, just as terrible a person, afterwards, anyway, Pepperidge Farm, Remembers.
Paramount had briefly toyed around with the idea of doing a Beverly Hills Cop/Crocodile Dundee crossover, which sadly never got off the ground. Now THAT I would've paid to see!
This was a great trilogy. Too bad the sequel tv series didn't take off a few years ago. It probably would have lasted longer than Lethal Weapon did.
I was heartbroken when the series was announced, the pilot shot...and the studio bailed, throwing the project under the bus. The famous Detroit Lions jacket was given a fuller-cut chenille/leather/wool version (with a full zip that kills the '80s vibe) and release by the NFL shop...which I managed to score. I was elated...cos it was a screen-accurate match. I found three pics of BTS that show eddie and Brandon wearing it. Netflix gave us "My Name Is Dolemite", so I am eager to see how this project goes!
3 was my fav in the 90s as a kid and still is at almost 40 lol MR ELLIS DEWALT EVERYONE
Every couple of minutes, I'm like, "what the hell were you thinking Landis".
I liked Beverly Hills Cop 3 better than 2. I don't get the hate tbh.
Couldn’t even finish Beverly Hills Cop 3. One of the most dull films I’ve ever seen.
I only watch the parts with that iconic Detroit Lions letterman jacket...which doesn't fit him very well.
i love this movie and music and action, all 3 movies are great and fun, 8/10
I actually really enjoy BHC3. I think it's very underrated and a lot of fun.
Beverly Hills cop 3 wasnt a bad movie. It had a few spots that were iffy but it was a change of pace from the first 2. Eddie Murphy's comedic style fit the direction. I dont know anyone personally that doesnt like it and can still quote funny lines from it.
I never seen Coming to America 2, mostly because i dont want to destroy the memory of a CLASSIC with a NON needed sequel, but i can wholeheartedly say BHC3 was better overall. I didnt want to see C2A2 because so of the cast as well and i was happy to hear alot of my folk didnt enjoy it. Its all opinion but Eddie made some classic moments in this movie....and ive watched it at least 4 times since it dropped.
Not true
@@lexkanyima2195 Its all our individual opinions so if that how u feel, its how YOU feel
I had actually forgotten this movie existed.
They also messed up billy..... u figure he’d be more like axel too. After teaching him from 1 and 2
Beverly hills cop 3 was not a bad movie at all... I don't understand why it gets so much hate.... It's not the first 2 movies that's for sure but it is not a bad movie.
Beverly Hills Cop3 was a decent movie. It doesn't compare to the first 2 but it has its laughs and it remains R rated
I loved that movie, and still do.
I still love this movie dammit
That was both a very enjoyable video and a great movie review from you. I also greatly enjoyed director John Landis' trademark of incorporating latter movie directors into his films.
The bad guys really can’t shoot anything in that movie. Axel hiding behind a bench, axel turning his back to a vilain, axel in wonderworld making a phone call, the cops falling when they rushed into the shop.
Man fuxk that 3 was actually good man. Idk why ppl don’t like it. The second one was the one that wasn’t as good. Yeah the whole setting in the theme park but besides that the movie is actually good. Still has the humor n the action. I mean cmon lot of movies don’t have action sequences big or small in theme parks. That’s why the whole saving the kids thing by jumping to different Ferris wheel car while it’s mid move.
This is a very underrated movie. I also like the composer updating the Axel Foley theme for some epic orchestral versions
Nile Rogers did a good job translating the "Axel F" classic, giving us the chance to listen to a second version.
LoL, I was waiting for a Twilight Zone Movie reference. Thanks for not disappointing.
Judge Reinhold was great in this
I feel like he’s a generally underrated actor. His comedic chops are especially good.
That 10 sec Oscars speech is 10x funnier than this entire movie!! 😂
I remember reading that Bronson Pincho said that Eddie Murphy was very down about something while filming this movie. He didn't have the same energy he did in the first.
Beverly Hills Cop 2 is much better than we give it credit for being. Its definitely leaps and bound better than this movie.
7:48, if Jennifer Jason Leigh were in the first two Beverly Hills Cop as a detective. Which it would’ve made it a Fast Times reunion with Judge. She would probably have done the same after finding out that Landis was going to direct.
I'm not gonna lie....I actually enjoyed watching this movie as a kid. Don't judge me!!
Freddy Krueger joke made me lol. Nice
That weird ass Annihilator 2000 gun was basically the set piece of the movie to describe how bad and out of place this third movie in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise was. But the whole action taking place in a kids theme park was definitely cheesy 90s action movies.
The prop was actually listed on Amazon for $300.00.
@@allanbard6048 wow 😯.
I will take one Axel Fox with Donkey to go. Thank you.
I remember this movie being terribly edited. With Eddie walking down a hallway with multiple angles and shots.
Clearly drops his Browning hi-power in that hallway.😁
This was always a more ridiculous film of the three, but I still enjoy it, probably nostalgia but whatever, great memories.
