A few minutes with a CAD program and a 3D printer, you could make a lot of custom mounts for different chassis types. Or maybe some kind of quick-release function, so you can tack the mounts to a chassis with craft glue, so you can swap multiple chassis in and out of the rotisserie. Then a rack for lining up all the ones in progress while the glue or paint dries.
At first I'm thinking "yeah right, another thing nobody needs" but now I think I need one as I can see situations for it. Thanks for showing me how to spend more money.
You could always turn a 1/16 scale chassis 90 degrees and it would work as long as you don't try to make it go too vertical. I'm going to have to get me one or two.
But wait I built a real rotisorie for my one to on car builds....now I'm going to buy one for my model cars! No way I'll build my own and it'll look prototypical so I could display my model cars on it! But still a pretty cool looking piece but I just can't justify buy one when I can have the fun of build it!

I tried using a lathe instead, but all my models come out as vases and bowls now.
Very cool tool. I have seen it around for a few years now but have never had the need to pull the trigger to buy it as of yet
