Never stop with the tips and tricks brother. I feel like some of the other channels just glide right past the hardest parts and go straight for the amazing results which of some of us may not be able to get to. Plus you,re "non-professional, un polished, raw" approach is most welcoming!
If they ain't checking these videos....their missing out on some great Tips. I've been building for Years and Still learn something. Just wish I could still do it
@@TheLukaCeeChannel I would like to see some videos for high performance/pro mod/pro street fuel setups. Building a rat rod racer at the moment and need some help/tips
I really appreciate the tire lettering decal tip. Toning it down with that thinned black takes away the "toy" affect and does make it appear more realistic. I'll be doing this on all my future builds with tire lettering. Thank you for sharing. Awesome!
I think you should continue to do these kinds of videos Luka! It's ALWAYS a learning experience. Something can be taken from every one of your videos. I can't tell you how much I've learned? Thanks, keep on building!
Nice Tip with the rollbar. I was searching for something like that because my next project has a rollbar and i want it too look a little bit more realistic. And the Tip with the wires is awesome. The most cars have batteries but without wires. That's a nice tip. Thank you for that. 👍 Greets from Germany.
That's for these tips. Been away from the hobby for almost 40 years but am preparing to start up again. Being as most of my builds will reflect my love of sports car racing the roll bar padding will come in very useful. As will the rest.
I’m glad that Andy’s channel introduced me to yours. I’ve just gotten back into the hobby after about 20ish years away. Trying to get a little better than I was in my childhood, and watching some of these videos is helping give me new things to try.
Excellent Tips. Interesting observation: I build F1 and GT3/4 models but your channel is one of my favorites. My vote: keep doing what you're doing! Tips / Techniques universally apply across the entire model car spectrum!
Thanks for taking your time do make this video. Great tips for the first time builders. A lot of people don't give us the time of day. so we have to watch the videos to learn then we wont catch the slack from it!!
Thanks for the roll bar padding tip. I've got a Dale Earnhardt diecast model by Action that already had a little detail to it but I have been adding more detail to make it look more like the real car. One example is, the interior tub, roll cage, dash, and seat were orange and looked too much like a toy, and those features were all red in the real car, so, I took it all apart, removed the roll cage using a dremel to drill out the heat welds to remove the cage from the floor of the interior tub. I have painted everything red that was red in the real car and painted the dash and panel under the rear window black. I even added some red dial needles to the gauges. Anyhoo, the roll cage didn't have wider parts simulating padding so I just painted those areas black but I just wasn't satisfied with that. I am glad that I came across this video and I have some 1/8 shrink tubing and I am going to try to make some padding for the roll cage. Thanks for the tip!!!
Hey I tried it and it worked great!!! I cut the end off of a q-tip and put the tubing on the stick part and used a lighter to shrink it down and it was the perfect size for the roll cage bars in my model, got a few more pieces to do. Really makes the roll cage look very realistic!!!
Luka, this is the first video of yours I've watched, but it won't be the last. I'm a 70+ person who used to build model cars, but I haven't one in 35 years. In the60's I had a collection of between 40-50 detailed 1/25 scale models. This collection was given to a younger brother when I moved out of state in 1969. I believe he still has most of them. I do have 4 or 5 kits unbuilt kits stored away in a closet, I'll have to dig them out. Your tire detailing in this particular video was helpful & something I can use in the future. If your other videos contain the same types of info on different topics, I expect they'll be just as helpful. One thing I have learned over the years is how to airbrush.
Ive been doing models for awhile but nothing like ur doing with all the realism like a whole new world I'm going too get a model today I'm so excited too do some of the stúff u do great channel
I really like the way your videos are put together . The Mustang, the hobby shop, the tutorials etc. The model builders life. The best subject matter. Why I subscribe. God bless you & yours.
All your videos are great, don't stop, I always pick up tips normally on things I didn't know you could do and some are easier than I thought once I've seen how to do them. Oh, and hello from Scotland
Just started up car modeling again, its been many years. Love the videos Lucas keep up the great work. I'm learning lots and your delivery keeps me interested
Old electric devices have small different colored wires in them. Those wires can be used to mimic cables and you can shape them to fit. We used to use sewing thread to imitate spark plug wires when I was a kid also. Crafting felt can be made to look like carpet and floor mats. I really liked your detailing hints. Thanks.
Thanks for the tips. It is these small or sometimes, on their own, insignificant details that combine together to fill out and create the reality of the model. I know that people may not say when extra detail is missing but they really do notice when the extras like tyre brands, wiring, dashboards, padding and (on another of your videos) hinges that work and look like the real thing.
Hey, nice video love your tips, you make it easier the doing it the late 70 ways. LOL. Like to see more of the pro street builds,.. hey thank for all your video.
Really like all your vidoes. The un builds are great, like the stories and info. Also nice to see you further along projects. Either way do what you do. Great channel I always leave feeling better and smiling. Can't go wrong with that.
Nice vid dude! Nice tip about heat shrink, definitely gonna use it. Feel free to do more tips, I am about to do a rally car model, so I could use any small trick I could find. There is not much tutorials about rally cars, I guess not much rally lovers around.... Thanks, and keep up!
hey Luka, just gotta say I agree with the posts I read below. I enjoy all vids you do. There are not enough hours in the day to watch everything I'd like. But I enjoy and appreciate your tips as a builder myself. PNW425

Nice job, Luka! The tire tip is really cool. Anything to add more realism to the finished build is good.
