As Mosie was designed for optimal transfer and for the vagina, it, unfortunately, does not fit perfectly into a frozen donor vial/straw which is why you have to pour it into a collection cup. Hope this provides insight and please do let us know if we can help or support you any further!
Thank you for the info! After watching your video, I called our sperm bank and asked for confirmation if we need to order 2 iui vials (the doner we chose isn't available with ici), and they said basically, one vial of ici isn't going to increase our chances any more than one vial of iui, that all of their specimens have a minimum 10 million count. I could be wording that differently, but they assured me that for in home insemination, our chances with one iui vial is equal to one ici vial. I suppose there is a difference among banks? If so, perhaps calling one's preferred bank for confirmation is recommended. :)
(I understand there's a chance I'm getting lied to by our bank, but I REALLY hope not lol 😬 )
This is a great question - thank you for reaching out! You most certainly can use IUI sperm with Mosie (especially if that is what's available to you). One thing to note, is the amount of sperm in the vial. Effectiveness can depend on the amount of sperm in the vial. The more sperm per vial, the more swimmers you have to reach your egg.

Hi it is really very informative video. We are trying home insemination with fresh sperm. Once ejaculated the semen into container, do we need to wait for its liquification or can we immediately draw the semen from container to syringe and deposit it into vagina. Please clarify these.
Thanks for reaching out and great question! Apologies for the delay here. However, when it comes to semen "liquefaction" we leave that as users' choice. Some folks like to let the sperm "liquify" after about 10 minutes or so. For some, it helps with the transfer to the syringe. As for our founders, Maureen & Marc, they got pregnant, when they used it within 5 minutes.

So sorry to hear of your challenges! If you do not have fallopian tubes, then unfortunately, Mosie would not work for you as it is a syringe designed to transfer sperm at the cervical opening. The only option that bypasses the tubes would be IVF. Our best to you 💚
Is this procedure done by IUI catheter to insert seman in cervix
Hi. Mosie is a form of Intravaginal insemination, sometimes referred to as ICI. This is not an IUI with a catheter. That should not be done at home and only should be done by a medical professional. Hope this helps and let us know if you have any other questions.
