  • Welcome to today's woodturning project! After a while I made again a goblet, using bamboo sticks and some magenta resin. Pretty straightforward project resulting in a nice looking goblet. I finished the project with danish oil.

I would have liked if you had left a little bit of that red epoxy at the rim. It looked so beautiful. But you own it and made it.

Amazing and beautiful work of creativity. Is it food safe and durable for extended drinking use or just decorative?

    Nice one!
Does this shiny stuff harden? Or is it just oil? I was just curious, cos this is one huge goblet and so it needs to hold all sorts of liquids, right?
    Very stunning piece❤

Going to be honest he scared me for a second I thought he just made a mistake and hollowed out the wrong end but it’s not a vase it’s a goblet lol

    They're not bamboo sticks - they're dowels.

I love watching your videos. They’re very zen. But those sticks are not bamboo. Bamboo no matter how skinny is always hollow.

А нахрена тратить лишние шпажки и эпоксидку? Можно было вставить трубку близную по диаметру, к отверстию и залить уже с отверстием! Не нужно было бы сверлить, сразу растачивать и всё. Меньше работы и стружки!

DAMN IT! Lower the Vertical Blade Guide! No more than 3/8" above the work piece. RTFM for your band saw!
😡👎One of the reasons I unsubscribed was your poor shop tool practices.

think about what you're doing. There was no need for the bamboo inside this. A few blocks of pine to be hollowed out after the initial shape was achieved. this uses much less material of any value! use the bamboo for the base, and don't use any for the interiorof the cup. might need one additional step in putting the blank together, but after that the unit cost will decrease.

Bamboo is probably cheaper than pine. But either way, no, it would not be the same
