I have the same experience with klock werks windshields! I bought two of them and returned 2 of them! Now I just ordered the extra large clearview windshield, and we will see how that goes
I also got the klockwerks for my ST. I'm 5'11" and I got the same result. Got a 5'6" friend that says it works great. I contacted the company, who says they are making a taller version. We'll see.
I just installed the 10-in wind screen. It's a game changer. I was getting a lot of wind buffeting with stock and the HD 10" is near perfect - just wish the tint was a little darker
Thanks for the video reviews. I have the same model bike with 197 miles. Having trouble installing the Thunderheader Pipes. Hopefully, I can get them installed today.
@@HD-on2eg the 11, also with the vent cut out still in place. I will post a review, but my initial thought is that it is better than the other solutions I’ve tried but I will probably sub for a taller screen that has the vent blocked.
hi thanks for the informative video. I was contemplating changing the windshield on my el diablo for the reasons you mentioned and then i decided to go a different direction for the cool factor's sake. i went and got me a shoei neotec 2 and that solved the noise problem. note i am taller than you. so maybe thats something you would try maybe it will help. The question i was wondering about now after riding my first long distance trip on it if i would go ahead and put the thrashin 6.5'' for the eye watering price of about $550 or should i just wait for HD to make one for half that price. the question to you is if its worth it. i just paid HD over 1k (in my country) to get the forward controls and floor board customization. i think you should look into that holy shift has a video on that part, maybe you'll find that useful for your next upgrade.
Thanks. I’m not sure that the thrashin risers are worth the price, but they are a nice integrated solution. Appreciate the rec on the holy shift page. I appreciate his content but I believe we have different goals for the bike/ride differently.

Just got the same bike, I have a couple of questions. how do you like the Thunder header, is it too loud. I love the pro pipe on my FXR was thinking about it for this bike. which lay down license plate did you use. thanks congratulations on the bike
I like the thunderheader, I don’t think it’s very loud relative to other setups I’ve had. I’ve probably had about ten different thunderheaders on evos, twin cams, etc and this one on the M8 is the most quiet of all, especially at idle. I’m sure that might change with a cam swap. I got the lay down plate off eBay for like $40. Kuryakyn makes one that is like $90-100 and it looks the same.
I actually think the windshield looks pretty good. Definitely functional.

Looks great...I agree about the windshield 100%...I'm thinking of the Thunderheader for mine as well.
I like the looks of the klockwerks. I wish they made a 10”
I agree in regards to Klock Werks windshield. Didn’t help at all. It’s just the extra flare you’re paying for and the name.
I gust put a clearview screen on my lowrider st and it works awsome ride.
Got one too, love it
What size did you go with?

@@pauldenton9568 I want an all rounder with a focus on long distance comfort. What other options for a riser are out there beside thrashin?

Clearview introduced their taller versions this weekend.
Thanks I saw… got one pre-ordered
Thank you Sir, helps a lot 🤙
Great video brotha 😎👍🇺🇸
I’m curious why you would add a different air cleaner when thae stock one is supposed to be good for a stage two
Really disliked the way it looked.
One thing i tuned in for, how is Audio with 10 inch screen is sound directed better or no difference?
Better than stock. Not near as good as my large size clearview shield.
@Paul Denton excellent, good to know 👍
They should have made the faring taller at the front, so the windscreen didn’t look so big.

I got the Custom Dynamic Lay Down License Plate for $49.95 from Revzilla. Weight is heavy, curved, and thigh quality.
I wish the video just talked about the windshield since that is the topic.
Did you switch out the handlebars as well or use the stock bars?
i hate my klock works too. at 5' 10" the wind hits me in the forehead.
