    Without a doubt one of the best writers I have ever heard. Not a bad thing either. And he's into supernatural phenomena like the marvel lights and stuff like that so I can actually talk with the guy and we have common interests. Who knew? Seriously the best guitar writing I've heard ever in my life. And any one of my friends can attest to my belief in that

    Hi Alain, I cant express enough how your music helped me through very difficult times. Went through a very tumultuos time in my mid to late 20s. Along stretch of just bad after bad. I almost came close to ending my own life. Somehow I stumbled into the sounds of yourself and Morrissey. I can say my favourite ever music comes from you and he working together. You guitar work made me pick up my guitar after years of dryness. I had played lots of styles before but your work just got me so excited about it all again. Thank you for these amazing videos, such an unbelievable gift to be able to listen to you play. Thank you so, so, so much for being the soundtrack to my survival.

      Daniel I'm with you on this, though you can park the 2 side by side in equal measures of purity, you cant escape the songwriters connection when performing it, you can just tell Alain wrote it, it's like when moz sings, its a tandem thing, 2 forces working to produce a greater output, this is a great great song, theres agreat moment they (Alain/Moz) Nail, when they say the lyric "you just sit there" it's such a powerful image, and a line used a lot, "you just sit there" , someone observing another's possible apathy.

    • @danielhorgan3634
      @danielhorgan3634 2 года назад

      @@PeteCswampy I think you're right, 'A force' is the right term, and they really were.. and that lyric, I rate so highly, is easily one of my favourite lyrics of all time.. 4 words, so simple, but so effective and powerful. The song is actually full of amazingly captivating lyrics, and it's a criminally underrated song..
