This is car appeals to me. The interior and general level of comfort and practicality could actually make me buy one when is reaches European shores (assuming it will priced competitively of course). Earlier I was actually beginning to consider buying a G9 but now I'm leaning more towards waiting for a G6 since it will be a better fit for my needs and finances (even though G9 is really good value in my country it's still bigger and more of a luxury vehichle than I really need). The G6 has enough space, is more efficient, will be cheaper and has an interior design I like even better than the G9.
Get this one because the new SEPA 2.0 makes it charge at 350kwh peak comparing with Tesla 250kwh peak. This can get you 10 to 80% in 15 minutes and a full battery in about 40 minutes I assume
Given that they launched g9 and new p7 in Feb, Guess that g6 will be there soon, and could be cheaper than the model y and has similiar price to the new p7.
I own G9 570max in Shanghai. I have been to the Shanghai Auto Show 2023 to 'feel' G6. I would say G6 is a practical version of G9. It is on par with G9 in terms of 'smartness' and driving experience, but its interior material and design feel ordinary when compared to G9's, which has a more luxury feel. However, G6 is going to be significantly cheaper than G9, which makes the shortfall justifiable. I would definitely recommend G6 to anyone who wants to try a smart car at a reasonable price range. If you speak Chinese, you will find Xpeng's voice assistant is just light years ahead of competitors, very convenient and useful when driving. In comparison, when I was sitting in my friends Tesla Model Y, I was deeply shocked by how 'unintelligent' the navigtation software and voice assistant were.
@@madev_channel Wilson is right that you are inferring that without paying extra, XPeng wouldn’t have faster charging than Tesla. That’s incorrect. Even the standard 3C is far faster than Tesla. As much as 80% faster on 3rd party chargers.
@@networm78 not possible. Gotta be faster because using front and rear casting reduces the weight and the g6 has more power than model y. I assume it’s faster or as fast
@@tonypaca3015 I heard this from some of the Chinese reviews, although they didn't measure it themselves. I guess we'll have to wait for the official figures to know for sure.
I like that it looks like an egg. It means more interior space without compromising drag coefficient. I believe this is the look that modern cars will adopt in future, especially when steering wheels are removed and the front seats are moved forwards. Driving will mostly be autonomous, with the passenger verbalising hints or drawing a path on the screen to tell the car what decision to take for challenging situations.
The problem here in Norway is sparepart to Xpeng. Many have big problem to get the car fixed, charging lock have problem on G3 and P7 someone have been waithing about 10-11 mounth. If they dont fix this sparepart problem it will not be a big hit in Europe
Thanks for the info but you did not state the estimated range of the Xpeng G6 and Model Y in China. You should show the CLTC, WLTP, and EPA range estimates, weight in kg and lbs, and drag coefficient numbers. Also battery is 10% larger for the RWD and 11.6% larger for the 4WD on the Xpeng, this is a pretty big difference. Looking forward to more EV model reviews from your channel. Thanks.
Every Nio or Xpeng always a Tesla killer. The problem is that they have been saying this for years and are on the verge of bankruptcy. They should just focus on themselves and be at least profitable
Because Tesla is still the biggest evmaker worldwide It would take several years to be profitable given the huge R&D cost, but as soon as the sale goes up, they will be profitable.

G6 looks really good
Really like you videos especially the ones with background Information on the EV. market and players!
Thank you😁
interesting, but what about the price?
It hasn't been released yet. Should be known within a month from now.
Much better video than the company produced
😂😂😂
Not true that you have to pay extra for the charging speed. All trims come with 800V architecture and 3C pack. That means 300 kW at peak charging.
the extra money is for the 4c pack,

When is this coming in France ?
Next year👏
@@madev_channel Do we know the approximative price ?
nope, but maybe a bit higher than th eprice in China.
Nio steering wheel 😊
the most impressive car i have seen. what is the 0 to 60 times of each model?
0-100 km/h in 3.9s for the performance version

no official statemen yet, but maybe the duel motor version is under 4 secs, and single motor is around 6 sec,

@@tonypaca3015 XPeng tends to hold back the power a bit for smoother acceleration. There might be a launch mode with faster 0-60.

wow that's a bit too long.
you know you are defeated when you claimed "killer..." of some kind
But Model Y is the best selling electric suv, so naturally other brands are trying their best to compete with it.

Xpeng EEG 6
More like NIO killer. Li Auto & Tesla still gonna rule the roads
Unbeatable, when Tesla's Full Self-Driving Launch
Before anyone claims to have the new Tesla Killer how about produce at scale, produce profitably and produce more than 100k units 😂
Teslas are way too expensive, and they're boring too.
but yet selling like hot cakes, thanks for mentioning the name.
Yeah what if they were cheap, cause the cheaper versions are coming.
After many price cuts, Tesla's model 3 and Y's price are actually not that expensive comparin to xpeng and the likes,
I think this could be a hit in China for Xpeng,. Its considerably cheaper than a model Y and has very similar specs
You video is ok. But it will be much better if you can speak more clearly. I needed to pay extra attention compared to other youtubers.
will do
@@madev_channel you speak good and I understand very well and clear. No need to change that. Just do more reviews instead 😊
more reviews on the way! and thanks😆
Another "Tesla killer" to add to the graveyard. Lol
