Omg !!! I've had my Label maker for years. I rarely use it and for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to change the Font size. Geeezzzeee I was so glad you showed it. And so simple. 🤦🏼♀️
Glad it worked out for you
@@Reviewlamp can these labels stick on clothes, or can they be ironed on to stick
The Brother unit now has a backing peeler. It's an opening next to where the printed tape comes out.
Eats batteries!! What a pity no AC/ transformer option available.
The label maker has a built in label peeler. I was hoping you'd show how to use it. I've not had much luck.
Exactly why I'm here.
Yeah needed to see, how to use the peeler too!!!
Same. This labeler is worthless
I also have a PT-65 which uses AA cells, it never needs new batteries while the newmodel uses up batteries without using it , it needs an AC adaptor
Yep the PT65 is totally superior. Mine broke, bought the PT-M95 as a replacement. Definitely inferior, AAA batteries, fewer size choices and a terrible peeler. Only bought to use a stock of existing tapes....wish I had cut my losses and gone to Dymo

But where is the demo of how to do this(like you did for print size) ?
Really need some help with this.... I recently acquired older model PT-1750 and really like it... However, I am unable to change font text size when printing TWO line labels.
It will only print the two lines in really small character text size. There are 5 to choose from and all work with a single line label, but not with two lines of text.
No issues with the single line printing; all sizes available there. I am using the widest 18mm tape which appears to have plenty of room for two lines with larger character text. But user manual does not address this and Brother support is of little help also.... Any ideas if larger character text is available when printing two lines... or only the small default size 1 text...?? .................THANKS...
Some how I got the underline function on and I don't want it to underline. How do I get to stop underlining?
While I have an older model, I wish you would've gone over more of the features
How do you get the numbers to go away. I havve 1 letter and then it goes to numbers!
Do you know why i touch the print button the print off?
I was about to toss the entire machine out my back door due to the ridiculous inability to take the backing off the Label! The built in label Peeler felt useless. BUT if you use a Needle or Push Pin, you can get a good peel off. On a hard surface, lay Label print face Down. GENTLY insert pin ON BACK until its beneath the paper. Then PULL up. There you go! Just don't press too hard or you will puncture the laminate label itself. Just use enough pressure to get through & under the paper backing. So much faster & easier for me than fiddling with that peeling "tool". (why don't they just make the scored down the middle tape like DYMO ?! Almost returned to Amazon to get the DYMO until I gave it one last try.)
Thank you for you're a great reviewer. Please could you tell me if any of these two can print letters addresses on envelopes? I appreciate what they do but I needed a cheap handheld labelling printer that I could use to printer addresses then have them glue to envelopes before posting. I would appreciate if you could get back to me. Thanks
Yes, both of these will work for that purpose. But you will have to print each line of the address separately
Can it attach to items for the freezer?
I haven’t tested it with items in the freezer, so hard to tell.
Mine will not spit out the label on its own, if I don't pull on it will will crumple but still print on the tape. How do I fix that
Open the cartridge tray and make sure the tape is manually routed in such a way that about an inch of tape is outside the machine. This should be your setup for your first label. Then the printer should correct itself from thereon out.
@@Reviewlamp yes, I did that. It would swallow it back and crumple up. So I have to take the backing off, pull the tape reel off then pull out the crumpled print. Very unfortunate. We used it only a few times and it jammed since
How about the colour? Only b n w
Mine keeps printing clear I put the word in but it’s still clear. What have I did wrong?
Hi does the printer switch on without a tape loaded?
Yes
its limitation is 8 letters...can be more and with 2 lines?
Question where did u buy the white tape thing?
On Amazon. This is the tape: amzn.to/3xoP8Dg
can you get clear tape?
Yes. This is the link to the clear tape for the machine: amzn.to/3Vv8boI
how do you replace the ink?
There is no ink that needs to be replaced since it uses thermal imaging to print.
Can u print vertically?
Unfortunately not.
typing a label 2:51 ,,, type size 3:02 ,,, print 3:13
Great detailed review, thank you!
+Nez Thanks!
and how does it get ink?
It doesn’t need ink. It is a thermal printer. The ink is on the label itself.
Which machine will let you print on 4 lines. like a mailing address, Name, Street address, City, and postal code....??
You could use the Dymo LabelWriter 450: amzn.to/393eI18
Svp comment je peux avoir cet appareil ?
