I should have seen this video before purchasing from Walmart. I saw these two machinese from Walmart. I debated and bought Dymo. I should have purchased Brother. Thank you for making this video. Very helpful!!!
And in 2022, still selling that Dymo model, just bought one tonight. For the money (19 euro in Ireland) its fine and compatible carts cheap enough. That brother looks very nice tho.
The batteries are probably a non-issue.. I've had the more upright model (PT-E110) for some time, and the batteries seem to last forever - and I'm even using rechargeable AAs which have lower capacity than alkaline AAs. I love that device and so do my little nephews. They've put a label on a cooking pot and I've left it there to see how long will it last. It's been there for more than a year and it looks intact.
The only problem with the Dymo 100H is that its labels fade over time. Invest in the Brother PT-D210 since most of its labels are laminated and do not fade like the Dymo labels.
Brother is absolutely wasteful. It spits centimeters of empty label each time! Dymo tapes are cheaper too. Oly use brother if you want it laminated! Dymo labels are pretty scratch resistant too btw.
How much does Dymo LetraTag LT-100(H or T) waste? just measured and it's 25mm on brother p-touch h102 before the ':' cut mark comes followed by the printed label.
When I put Dymo label tape on the light switch for a long periods of time, it begins to fade out and turning brown. I was so disappointed. Are there any label makers I can buy that's fade resistant?
Thanks for the comparison. The letratag does have a key to switch from upper to lower case. It says A-a in white just above the letters.
True

You're welcome. I'm very surprised they still make that model of Dymo, it really is very antiquated.

The Dymo does have a shift key, the white one underneath the OK button 😊
Oops, thanks!

I just found that Brother machine to be heavy and clunky. Still looking…I liked my old PT-65 P Touch - might rebuy.
Fantastic review
Love that its so straight to the point! ♥️
Thing I hate most is it dosent print white on black or white on clear
Nice review, really straightforward
Please just let me use the 100h Letra Tag, Please this is the only one I have

@@AndrewBerezovskiy 8mm between the cut and the letter on each side by default.
Guess I made the right choice, thanks!

I recommend the Brother label writer
The Brother TZe tapes are usually laminated (double-check before you buy!) so go for the Brother PT-D210 or the PT-D400.
I bought that exact dymo label maker , it went to the trash. Those labels fade completely out very fast specially in sunlight, so trying brother now
Try the compatible carts..half the price too.
Tfs👍🏻👍🏻❤️
