Any card or scrapbook crafters: use the mechanical Dyno label maker with cardstock cut to the width of the label. Type out your message, sand or ink it, then attach to your paper craft, folders, etc.

Thank you, Laura! I'm a professional organizer and I very much enjoyed your review. I'll share my experience as well. I have 2 Dymo label makers, for 2 different labels (black print on white and white print on clear). At first I had just 1 Dymo and I switched out the tape, but I found that the label maker easily got jammed and broke with regular tape swapping, so I finally relented and just committed to 2 different Dymos for my 2 different tapes. I also have a brother labeler with black on clear tape. The brother labeler drives me nuts! It's just not user friendly mainly because I can never remember how to navigate the symbols and such (the Dymo is very user friendly!). I'm done whith the brother and I'm going to buy another Dymo for my black on clear tape. Next, I just ordered a NIIMBO labeler specifically for tech cord labeling (they have a specific sticker that is shaped to go around a cord). I haven't used it on the job yet, but I'm excited to get the opportunity. Lastly, I also just ordered the Cricut Joy! I haven't even completely unpacked it yet! But this I bought for fancy labels, such as a kitchen project where my client wants a "high-end" fancy look on their containers. I'll be playing with this in my kitchen and garage, and then headed to my client's house that just finished remodeling her laundry room (which could be on the cover of a magazine) and we're going to label all of her lovely clear plastic organizers with a gold, fancy font. Anyway, I'll be watching your Cricut video next. I love labeling!! Thank you, again ~ Christi (Bright Space Organizing)

I had seen an organizer use the Brother Cube, so I added it to my cart to purchase at some point. I am glad you reviewed it, so I didn't waste my money!!! 👍😁 I have a vintage label maker (from when I was in high school with the tape) & and an older model Dymo.

I have the regular navy blue Dymo LabelMaker I wish I would’ve waited and bought this colorful one but I still love my LabelMaker. It gets the job done and makes me excited to organize! I definitely recommend a LabelMaker for anyone and thanks for the cricket joy idea! I’m excited to look into it

I highly recommend the Brady BMP-21 Plus. The thing is industrial looking but it is an absolute treasure. Independent, doesn’t need apps or Bluetooth. I’ve made thousands of labels on it and it just never quits. It’s very sturdy and weather hardy. I’ve helped friends do home clean outs and this thing really is great on the fly . You don’t need to baby it. Uses tape cassettes, available in assorted colors and material. I did a yarnventory of my yarn stash and it made the whole project a breeze. Big fan! 😁

Thank you for this. I found it really useful.
I have a Brother Touch & find it great.
In the 70’s I had one of those Dymo ones. I used to label pictures with it.
I have a really hard time understanding fancy fonts, so I just stick with Arial.

Oh my gosh!!! I own the Cricut Joy-I haven't unpacked it. LOL I thought I should finish organizing, which I am now kind of waiting for some more guidance the week of Sept 13. I was afraid I'd fall in love with using it and get distracted making labels rather than finalizing organization. I'll watch your video about using it specifically AND I might just "Need" to own the Dymo, too. Thanks for sharing-this was great to watch and learn. :-)

    Really helpful video. Thank you.
What would you recommend, I’m looking for one to label things around the house in French to help me learn the language, with the English word underneath?
Can the Dymo do two lines plus special characters like ê or é for example? Thank you again.

For the NiiMbot label maker, can you buy labels/tape anywhere or does it require special labels/tape only available on Amazon?

I have a question…I have a dymo too, but unfortunately it no longer will feed the tape through and print! Do you know how to fix this issue by chance? I tried googling but didn’t find much. 😩 Hoping I don’t have to buy a new one, but I’m starting to miss having it. 😬

    • @boskodoggo3278

Same here. I bought a new one cause I had a bunch of tape. But my 1st one went in the trash. I thought it was a fluke, but this happens alot.

I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.
