Good video ! I got two BB3 to throw in the backseat to replace my car stereo system. I wanted to get a smaller speaker to put on the front dash so that the music surrounds me. I was thinking about either getting a C5 or an X3 to partyboost with the two BB3 in the backseat. Do you think adding a 3rd speaker in the front for the car is overkill ??????

I have been more than happy with my Flip 6 the four months i've had it. I've taken it on several kayaking trips where it has been banged up, submerged in water, and still keeps on with the tunes. Most days though it sits in my garage and is used as my speaker when i'm working out. I charge it maybe once a week and that's only to top it off as it usually has plenty left before I start charging it.
Flip 6 is great sometimes I do wish I got the charge 5 thought for the higher volume and mainly build in battery pack

Battery Life is like MPG…so many factors seem to impact it.
I did an experiment with AA batteries in 6th grade and the cheapest batteries won, despite Duracel and Energizer claiming twice the hours.

At 50% volume it’s about 8 hours whilst the charge 4 has 10 hours at 50%

I’ve owned the Xtreme 3 for about a year and a half and I love it. Every time I go out with my friends they tell me to grab it. It BUMPS fs especially after activating the Bluetooth and minus button trick.
The trick will most likely kill your speaker
I used mine at work for 2 years thought it burned out but just needed a new battery

Yesteday i bought Charge 5 and OMG its fantastic! One minus - it cant show verrry deep bass (like subwoofers), but bass is good! And i like thing that it have very good hights 👍, super sound quality, super build quality! Thanks for your video, man ❤️

It would have been nice if the other smaller speakers had partyboost as well.. I own the Clip 4 and it sounds amazing.. pairing two of them would be a dream come true.
Agree with what you say about the charge 5. Not about power, or necessarily about bass, though it still has about as much bass as your average bookshelf speaker. It is super clear, and quite neutral sounding. You hear every instrument through it.

Im considering buying Charge 5 because it looks like right balance between the size and the sound and the life of battery. I would need something to take to the garden or outside for little party with good bass. I hate when some speaker doesnt make good bass :D

Great review!! Really appreciate your honest review. I've had several speakers mainly JBL and UE, and the Charge 5 is my go-to speaker. But... that said I think my flip ? is pretty good too. All that being said, I have hearing damage and it is what it is...

Have the original JBL Boombox (v1) and have loved it over the years. People gather around us at the beach but your right, it's pretty heavy, so heavy in fact the strap (has a built in handle too thank goodness) on the carrying case busted. Gonna pull that trigger for the Charge 5 for the Master Bedroom shower area and desktop speaker at work. Using the link you provided to support the channe, liked and subscribedl. Deeply Appreciate your review and recommendation. Take that back, going to wait until I can get the JBL Charge 5 WIFI: This Is A Genius Idea!. I have both, Flip 6 and Xtreme 3.
Xtreme 3 ist good for House Partys, Flip 6 is for everything else.

I always bring my xtreme3 and charge5 camping. connected they sound great together and last most the night. I'm about to buy the Boombox3 cause I want it and feel it can replace both those smaller speakers for car camping situations.

Just bought a charge 4 for about $100 from costco. The bass response(60hz spec'd, but test tone at 55hz is there) is amazing. Great value and you can get full spectrum sound at full "medium room" volume, if you tweak your cellphone sound equalizer a little. I just saw the specs on the charge 5, but it's a few more bucks and "no 3.5 audio jack". It has more sound power(40w/ch vs. 30w/ch on charge 4) plus a tweeter for more full range "as-is" but I think this is for the customer that want's a "loud" room volume which is subjective....now your sound volume & quality is pushing towards the "over priced" extreme 3 territory.

I honestly love the JBL Go 3, it's literally what I need. I'm a onewheel rider(if you know what that is)and this little thing is perfect for me because of how light weight it is. The clip was my second chance but I went with the Go because of the price difference. Plus, it was on-sale for 40 bucks at best buy, can't beat that.

This is my first boombox, it is very cool, I recommend it to everyone.
The only thing, although it is a portable technique, it is quite heavy, but that's okay, I will train.
Of course, I would like a shoulder strap like an extreme model, maybe I’ll come up with something like that myself

I got a flip 5 for my birthday last year,
And was wondering,
should i save my money to get the extreme 3 or get the charge 5 to connect to my flip 5 ,at the same time?
My idea was that maybe I can use the the flip 5 specifically for the mids and highs,
And eq the charge 5 for more bass(in jbl app) while also outputting a higher volume level all together
How can you be satisfied with it more than the boombox 2 tho XD

@@shoerice5083 i never said I liked it because it was better 🤦♂️. Also the bb3 is a way better speaker than the bb2. I said I just liked it more, why? Because it’s more portable and easy to take anywhere and it’s the best choice since you get your moneys worth and get a bang for your buck.

Thinking of using the extreme because it has those loops. Will use metal zip ties or something to fasten it to my bike make it hard to steal when i run into the store actually strap kinda makes it easy to carry hands free taking up no space

I have the JBL Go 3 and to be honest, it has a very high quality woofer but I wish the bass was a bit louder for when you have it sat somewhere and not holding it.

The Pulse 5 was supposed to come out in the summer and that will be the full partyboost. All I need is the Flip 5 and the Pulse 5 and I be done with the current Partyboost. Good video all the way through keep it up 💯

I've just never been a fan or seen the value in it. However, for some reason people REALLY enjoy that thing.
Personally I wanted a Pulse series speaker since the 3 but the Charge always got my money especially the Charge 5 it's just amazing for its size. The only reason I say to get a Pulse 5 is for the people and the looks. Btw do you ever plan on getting the partyboxes? I'm not sure if someone comment this already but the charge 5 has a 20 hour battery life which does do a good job of last you the whole day on a single charge
